I had a messy divorce where I was recommended a lawyer that had a laundry list of accomplishments and lawyer of the year blah blah. She cost me 40,000. I saw her 3 times in a year and basically got me NOTING. It was a horrible process and put me in a state of depression. I as then recommended to josh blumburg by a mutual friend. She couldn’t believe all I was doing and putting up with she insisted I go to josh for a consultation just to see what he thought. I was hesitant at first because of my horrible experience the first time and how much money I was taken for, not only by my ex but by the law firm the first time. But after being told over and over again he’s like a pit Bull in court fighting for you. And is as tough as he gets. I though why not hear some feedback. When I ran through all the facts, the paperwork, and other useful information, he was in disbelief that my 1st lawyer did basically nothing for me and charged me all that money. He then went on to explain what his plan of action would be. How we would approach the case and that he would give me all he had. I could not have felt more positive about anything or anyone after hearing what he said. I couldn’t retain him quick enough. I left his office feeling positive for the first time in a long time. Just like any case we had our meetings to stay up to date and each time josh was complete ready to go. Giving up to date information and status of where we stood. He had me feeling just so at ease and almost that we were always one step ahead of everything. When all was said and done. Everything I went in there asking for help for, josh won every single bit of it for me plus more. I actually couldn’t believe he had done what I was wishing someone could do for me for years. He saved me and I cannot thank him enough. He stayed 100% completely true to his word from day 1!! Extremely knowledgeable and hardworking. But yet makes it look so easy. Very easy to talk to. Josh blumberg really saves my life. I haven’t stopped smiling and feel like the weight of the world is now off my shoulders. When the judge said ok this case is closed and signed off on it all, we all had to sigh off our zoom. Josh wanted to give just a fist pump. But I’m sorry I had to give this man a huge huh to let him know how much I appreciate what he did for me and my family. He made things right. So yes this is an extremely long review and if you actually read it all. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE trust me when I say josh blumburg is the only answer when looking for a divorce lawyer. He gives you everything he’s got. I could write another 5000 words on how great he was and the experience but that may be a little overboard. Just please take it from me. I got pushed into the direction of a “high profile lawyer” who is on the top of all the lists in ny. The only thing list she should be on top of is ripping of her clients and taking every penny they have and not even care about their clients. First time I met josh. Just felt right. Felt comfortable, felt confident. Lastly with my case behind us I cannot thank him enough for every he did and really hope you take my advise. He’s a guru when it comes down to this. I had the sincere pleasure of meeting and closely working with Bruce and Robin Guttman after having carefully chosen this highly professional and most caring husband and wife team of Matrimonial Attorneys. Bruce Guttman the worst possible lawyer ever... this guy could care less about you in any possible way he wants your money, he'll fall asleep in the courtroom , I remember that day wake up Bruce! If you've given this man money, run fast get out leave your money behind your better off, this is pure trash I found these two in a garbage place with trashy furniture I made their office nice and then realized what garbage they are I feel bad, because of my furniture they look like they're actually successful but then nothing more than clowns and they don't care about you I'm telling you run fast and if anybody writes a good review.. I would question that... My Name is Brian Eberle, run for these people... Save yourself... I see they change their name to the guttman law group, why too many bad reviews... He should be disbarred...

Love this firm! I was referred to them by a friend who had been through the court system for many years and he said out of all the lawyers he has worked with they are his favorite and I can certaintly see why. They really do care about you and your children. The one thing I can't say enough about them is that they responsive! You definately can't say that about too many lawyers. I went to see Rob for a modification for my child custody agreement to relocate, I can honestly say that working with Rob and Christine has been the best experience. I cannot recommend them enough I only wish I had seen them sooner. They are prompt with communication, and they are honest which I appreciate so much. They do not give you fake promises and they do their best to fight for what you want which they do amazingly well! You can tell they are passionate about what they do and care about their clients. A very important aspect of lawyer client relationship for me is an open line of communication, the anxiety of the unknown always gets the best of us. The fact they were always available whether it be phone call or email to answer any question was extremely comforting and exactly what I needed. I am not well versed with laws and regulation so knowing I had Rob and his partners there when I was unsure or conflicted was extremely needed and greatly appreciated. When it comes to family court it's never easy but having Rob and his partner by my side I felt extremely comfortable and he helped me have realistic expectations. Please TRUST HIM!! If you're looking for a lawyer (at least for my end from child custody/Family Court) don't look any further you will not be disappointed. I hope to never have to use them again but in the event I have to, they are going to be my forever first call.

Hornberger law was the best choice I made when I needed to go to family court with my ex for custody of my children. They were there at any time when I neeeded them. Going through a custody battle can be a huge emotional rollercoaster and very painful. They helped me through it and made it less painful and heartbreaking. And I got the outcome plus more than I expected

I send them an email regarding divorce papers to receive a quote on how much it would be to receive help filling out and filing for divorce, their response was they don’t fill out paper work for divorce, that I have to find a paralegal for that. When I asked them where could I find one, they tell me to look on Craigslist. They are a a law firm that deals with divorce but yet they don’t know how to a packet gets filled out and they won’t know where I can find someone to help me with that. What a waste of time, not very helpful.

The best! Rob is such a great lawyer and kind soul. His brain is amazing! He truly wants what is best for you and your children and fights tooth and nail to get it. From the beginning he said he would do his best to keep my case out of court and that is what happened.
