I highly recommend Mrs. Zofia Rawner's advocacy's skills. I can say this since I shared a case with her involving a child dependency case involving an Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) case. She did an outstanding job to ensure the parent was given "due process" as well as ensure "all facts" were presented before the presiding judge. She always completed her homework before the next court hearing to ensure all concerns areas are addressed. In this particular case, with her advocacy skills, the parent was able to regain custody of her children and move on with their lives. Mrs. Rawner is very knowledgeable of the ICWA of 1978 and the Placement Preference. I'm very grateful for her assistance. We need more attorneys like her especially on ICWA cases. I am so disappointed in the service I received from this firm. The attorney that was supposed to represent me would not respond for days or sometimes a week, he filed a motion incorrectly not highlighting critical points that I found out from other council are necessary after the motion got thrown out because it lacked information it needed that Mr. C**** said wasn’t necessary. Furthermore, he was VERY unprofessional in how he dealt with opposing council, making me look bad. All for no reason. In the end, I was several thousand dollars out and gained nothing. I just wanted help, and got the worst possible alleged representation. I am shocked to see so many good reviews for this firm. I am assuming that this is not the norm????

Fantastic: I meet with Joy Parker in reference to a very difficult and complex situation. I also was doing emotional guy things. I appreciated Miss.Parker upfrontness and her assistances. We spent the entire morning in Court and then had quite the rodeo due to the complex nature of my case. However, Miss.Parker was there for me and did not run out after court. She took the extra mile of making sure we had our ducks in a row. We had to combined our different knowledges of the systems to finish the job just due to the complex nature of the situation. We did it and I would not without a doubt hesitate to tell someone to contact Miss.Parker in legal matter or ask her for referral. Again, knowledgeable, confident and just good people and stellar customer service skills.

Having to use a family law lawyer is always not the best situation. You never want to experience divorce especially with children and sometimes even the aftermath of parenting plans you need help in adjusting those. I live out of state so it added a whole other level of stress finding the “right” lawyer. We came across this firm and had a consultation. From the first interaction i just felt extremely blessed to find them. It was a consistent fight with the ex and I prayed for the right lawyer and we came across this law firm. Shawnna, Amanda and maya all worked with us (mostly maya) and man they are amazing. Their knowledge of the law is superior, they are very responsive to emails and questions and most importantly they are not just lawyers that take your money. I felt they were very very honest in their opinions and guidance. I’m just very happy with their work and how much they helped us. Especially since my ex’s counsel is nothing but ruthless and about the “win” not the best welfare for the children. This law firm is exceptional, knowledgeable and professional and truly has the kids best interest at heart, which is what we should all want in hard times. I cannot say enough good things about this firm. Thank you for everything!

Hernandez Family Law is a very trust worthy firm. First of all she has passion for what she does. She listens to everything you say and understands how you are feeling. When you call upon a lawyer you are already highly emotional and she has a very calming effect on you. She is very thorough with your case, she will talk you through every step. So that when you step into court you are calm and trust that she will do her job. Now let me tell you how she does her job. In a nutshell, Wendy genuinely cares! For me, that is the most important quality in a lawyer. In 11 years of escalating custody battle, I have been through 3 lawyers and numerous “Initial consultations”. Wendy was the first lawyer I met that I truly felt was about me, my children, and my case, not the money. The very 1st night after our first case review meeting, I had the best night’s sleep I have had in years. Wendy completely changed my opinion of lawyers. I have never met an attorney who cares as much as Wendy. You can tell she has a passion for her work and the people she represents. Let me start by saying that Maya is awesome. We engaged Maya to help with my naturalization application preparation and submission to USCIS. Maya was knowledgeable, thorough and highly responsive to our need. She answered all our queries and supported us even when the application went through a few rough patches. Ultimately, she guided and supported us through the long drawn process which takes (more than) a few months that resulted in a successful response from USCIS. I would wholeheartedly recommend Maya for her knowledge, attention to detail, and for the overall level of service she provides, and hope to engage her in the future for all our visa and naturalization needs.

This office is very good unprofessional, they are not all on the same page. I had to drive around for paperwork for the office, I was told one price then my husband an other. Over charging and they are no even that good. They always have turn over off staff, And if you want him to throw you under the bus once you and your contract with him then go right with him. He always knew the true of the circumstances in our case and ignored them and proceeded with the case. Once we decided to cut ties with this office and get a qualified lawyer he wrote to the immigration office and stated everything that I had put in an email that he ignored the whole time he still had our case. Very unprofessional and poor work ethic. I don’t recommend this office

Do not waste your money with this lawyer if you are a victim of domestic violence. My friend is a victim of domestic violence, this lawyer only took her money, made her drop charges against her husband who hit her and choked her and she had all the photos and police report. Her children continue to be around the abuser. He did not represent her well and did not show any of the evidence. She is now homeless and living in a shelter and will probably loose the custody of her children, even though she is the victim. I feel as though the lawyer sided with the perpetrator and this is just another example of how the system is broken and there is no justice for women who are victims of domestic violence.

I see a lot of mixed reviews and I will be transparent in mine. If I could, I'd give him a 4.5. Why? 5- Because he did a fabulous job and did it right. He was always honest with us and did not just tell us what we wanted to hear, which is what I feel people do not like. Sometimes cases cannot be beat and I believe his honesty is taken the wrong way. He also took care of everything and I KNEW we were in good hands. He always made sure we looked at paperwork and I appreciated the mock interview because it truly prepared us for what was to come. 4- The reason I took .5 off is due to the response time. Sometimes I had to call and email in order to hear back about any questions I had. Also, my moms interview was on a Friday, we met the Wednesday prior and it was then he told us she needed to redo her medical exams and with our luck, that Thursday was a holiday... it was a headache to find an immigration medical exam office with openings in time to get the results before her interview, I wish he would have informed us way in advance. However, I will say he did offer 2 medical places and followed up to ensure we were able to find a doctor. Overall, I do recommend him. He was able to get both of my parent's their residency AND I will definitely be back to work on my parent's citizenship!

Kristen was recommended to me and now I am going to recommend her to everyone. She was my lawyer for my initial divorce and then for part two of that same divorce two years later when the ex suddenly stopped paying alimony. This situation was by far more difficult and complicated than the first round and involved a trial. Kristen is incredibly knowledgeable, which is critical because I was not prepared for a legal battle of this magnitude, but more than that, she is also kind and assuring. She has a great deal of confidence that blends well with her gentle demeanor. She practices with a "fair and friendly" approach which provides a great deal of calm in very uncertain circumstances. Angela Hallier represented me in a divorce case, however when her associate attorney moved out of state, she just ignored the case and let the opposing party clobber us. The associate attorneys handle the bulk of the work, so once that happened she just rolled over and took the path of least resistance to let the other party take over. The correct course of action would be to either catch up on the case, then represent me as an advocate, refund the money as the case was not finished, or appoint another associate attorney to handle the case after they get caught up on the details. She did none of the above. Angie is the owner of the firm, so even if she just relies on her associates, she should make sure things are appropriately delegated. She is very interested in deep pockets, and keeping up her appearance, but not interested in putting forth the effort to advocate for her clients. Very disappointed in this poor performance and level of caring for her clients. Pros: Will give a sense of professionalism when she first meets you. Very good at wooing you at first. Very good at deflecting questions or concerns from clients. Cons: Will get very defensive if you catch her in a mistake. Her facade will fade quickly once she is responsible for responding to the case, keeping up with details, very difficult to reach, uninterested in clients concerns. Has very little oversight into what is happening in the form, despite being the owner.

After hiring another attorney and not getting what I needed, I did a little more checking and found and hired Mr. David White. He was great from the start and did what he said he would do. Our ultimate goal was a case dismissal but would be hard to accomplish. We stayed patient through Covid but he was persistent and persuasive as well. I am so proud of him! My wife needed a family law attorney for a custody dispute. I had a list of attorney's I was considering. I interviewed David and immediately knew he was the one I wanted representing her. I knew what I wanted in a Family Law attorney. I've spent over 2 decades negotiating contracts in my career, and I wanted a negotiator. David is sharp, wise and has decades of experience. David's philosophy is the child and the childs' interests come first. But a close second, is making sure he represents and negotiates to the best of his abilities on behalf of his clients. He is not the least expensive. But he doesn't nickel and dime you with fees, and he does everything he can to keep your costs to a minimum. He also isn't an attorney mill.....employing many new and inexperienced, attorneys to maximize company profits. He is a small boutique outfit and does all he can to keep your fees down. His staff is great! They are caring, compassionate and are very good at what they do. If you are interviewing Family Law attorneys, it would be in your best interest to call David.
