I cannot put into words how AMAZING Rachel’s law firm has helped me through the process. She went above and beyond for me during court and throughout the entire process of child custody. I had a consultation with Rachel King two weeks ago and chose this firm because she allowed me to split up the retainer fee. Rachel told me she would be working on filing my forms so I could get a court date on the calendar. A few days later I spoke to Shelly the paralegal who was getting my paperwork started and that it would be filed that Friday. I was excited and sent her everything she asked for. That Thursday I sent Shelly a f/u email but didn’t hear back. I called the office Friday afternoon and spoke to Jennifer (manager?) who informed me that Shelley had left the firm. I was disappointed because no one called to follow up with me. I asked Jennifer when my paperwork would be filed as well as when my next payment was scheduled for. She said she hadn’t ever known Rachel to split up the retainer but that she would call me back to let me know. She never did and all weekend I had such anxiety thinking I made a mistake picking this law firm . Finally I spoke to Jennifer Monday after I called many times that morning. She told me that the forms were ready but that they wouldn’t have me sign them or submit them until I paid the other half of the retainer fee. I was so confused as this is not what I was told by Rachel herself and of course I had every intention to pay as I needed to be represented by them. By this point all trust was gone for me and I asked for a refund. I told Jennifer that I found another lawyer who’s retainer fee was more affordable (As I wanted to file these forms ASAP) That’s when she said well if you can pay them that price we will file it for you at that same amount and you can pay the difference later. I was so shocked and knew that I made the right decision. She said that she was going to subtract $161 for some work that was already done (forms I will never see). I reluctantly said yes and she said she would call me back with information on how it would be sent out to me. When she called back she said the check would be mailed out to me and I confirmed that only $161 would be subtracted and she actually said I’m not sure because the new paralegal Megan was working on it today and I don’t know how much time she put on it. WTH! Their word means nothing here and I am deeply disappointed because I trusted them and not only wasted my time but hard earned money.

My mother hired Brian when my parents moved back to New York from Florida to redo their wills and estate planning; at the time my father was in the mid stages of Alzheimer's Disease. I found Mike Alpert, one of Long Islands best traffic attorney’s while googling a solution to my traffic ticket. His name came up at the top of google search results and was immediately drawn to the five star reviews, and raving stories of how Mike helped get them the best results from their traffic tickets. So I thought, surely he can help me right? So I called the number on his page and he picked up quickly. I explained the traffic ticket violation. He was very friendly, sympathetic, understanding and professional. He helped guide me through the entire process step by step. I payed him his service fee with Zelle and he just took it from there. I barely had to do anything except get an appearance authorization form notarized as the courts were trying to limit contact with people during the pandemic. I didn’t even have to show up at all for the pre-trial due to the appearance authorization form for which Mike handled the case. We set up a phone conference but it was not necessary as he talked on the phone with the judge to negotiate a not guilty plea. It was such a relief to know I was in good hands. He got me the best results I could have expected. A failure to stop at a parking sign 3 point violation became a $300 dollar parking ticket payable to the court by check which was very generous considering. I will definitely refer The Law Office of Mike Alpert to my friends and family!

I would highly recommend Michael Alpert. I got a ticket, reached out to him and received a response within 24 hours. He dealt with it quickly achieved excellent results. His communication skills belied the fact that this was a minor infraction and he treated me with the level of professionalism that would have been appreciated had this been a major lawsuit. Andrew Jaloza, Tiffany and his team are such a pure pleasure to work with. I came to Mr.Jaloza needing a will a requested by my mother . That process went very well, it included a health proxy power of attorney . Being an only child , the comfort of knowing things are as my mother wishes are being carried out professionally. Then a few months later, my mom was diagnosed with early stage dementia. So now we need a different kind of life plan for my mother . Again Mr.Jaloza and his team worked diligently to provide the ability for my mother to obtain Medicaid .
