You don't have Glassdoor account so this is the only place I can share my review so applicants and prospective clients would be aware. I was an employee for Citywide Law Group for two days, I sent a copy of a document to a client (while checking and letting know the supervising attorney about it before sending it out) , because every case is the client's case and the client should always know and confirm what form is being sent on their behalf and what is going on in their case. I got a very shocked response from the supervising attorney that YOU DON'T SEND A COPY TO THE CLIENT. Why shouldn't client know what's going on in the case? Why is that a secret? I have enough experience and knowledge about American Bar Association (ABA) rules conducting communication with the clients to know that you ALWAYS send a copy to the client and should ALWAYS be transparent with everything going on in the case with clients. 10 minutes later, I got a call from the partners letting me go for not being a good fit for the position. I have enough experience to know from the field's experts and ethical practices that this is neither ethical nor moral practice. I'm glad I got a chance to be aware of how unethical this practice is early on, and I want the prospective clients to ALWYS ASK FOR COPIES and every records being filed with the court or being send out to the opposing counsel. This is YOUR case and you need to PROTECT it.

I believe in word of mouth referrals; I was hit on my motorcycle by an SUV and asked a neighborhood businessman if he knew of a law firm that could help me. He connected me with John Nojima. Let me start this review by stating that I’m a personal injury attorney. Several years ago, I needed a law firm to represent me personally for an automobile accident I was involved in with an uninsured motorist. My own insurance company was trying to not pay me anything for my injuries, claiming, without any evidence whatsoever, that it was a staged accident. I needed the best lawyers I could find. I had known about Bruce Broillet and Browne Greene from watching them lecture at lawyer conventions and I was impressed with their knowledge, reputation, and presentation. I knew GB&W was the firm for me. I met with Bruce, Browne, and their then new associate, Scott Carr. (Scott is now a partner.) I was thrilled they accepted my case. The case went all the way to arbitration and Bruce, Scott, and Browne did an amazing job obtaining for me a sizable arbitration award. More importantly, however, is that they taught one of California’s largest and most powerful insurance companies that they can’t get away with trying to get out of paying legitimate claims. Following that arbitration, we then sued the same insurance company for bad faith and they quickly settled with us. Since my first experience with them, GB&W is the first firm I refer cases to when I’m not able to handle a case on my own, usually due to complexity. They are a first class, top rated firm that is not motivated by money. They are legitimately motivated by making sure the injured and underprivileged are given the best representation possible.
