EDIT: my review was not made in error and is completely correct and accurate - he left his client in the lurch during the most crucial moment without offering any good legal advice, it was as if the client did not hire a lawyer and was representing themselves! Totally unprofessional if not borderline sketchy. Extremely disappointing result and he obviously did not provide anywhere near to a satisfactory level of service. EDIT 2: obviously I am using a pseudonym but everything I wrote is true and he abandoned his client and left them with a lousy result. Recently, they came to Europe to take deposition from a witness in Linz, Austria, and 4 witnesses in Budapest and Szentendre, Hungary. The weather was very cold. My mom had been severely hurt in the workplace and said workplace refused to help. She reached out to her lawyer multiple times over the course 7 months, and he hasn't responded once. They've not told her an account number, no details of the case, not anything that's going on at all. She had to figure out the name of her lawyer on her own due to sheer incompetence of this office. I've watched her slowly get more and more hurt, sicker and sicker, while her old company tries to force her into a corner and these lawyers she signed a contract have done NOTHING. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for legal help because these people have left my mother disabled and backed into a corner. They will probably do something similar to yall, and you'll be forced to watch your family member lose everything they had, from their car to their health just because the lawyer can't be bothered to do their job. They cut off her ability to look for help elsewhere too. Absolutely dishonest and predatory practices and you'd do well to steer clear.

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on May 9, 2020 which changed my life. It resulted in me not being able to work and my car being totally destroyed. Even though I wasn't at fault for the accident, I needed someone with knowledge and experience in the law to help guide me. 'm convinced that if you looked throughout the entire state of California, you would not find a better PI attorney then Michael Waks. In the summer of 2018, my elderly father was involved in an automobile accident. He sustained multiple serious and life threatening injuries and I knew we were going to need help. I had no clue what to do, or who to contact, so I turned to the internet to find a PI attorney. After reading all the stellar reviews on Michael, I decided to make an appointment. I'm always a little skeptical when a business has ALL 5 stars and glowing reviews, but in Michael Waks case, it's all true! From the time I walked into his office and explained the situation, I could see the fire ignite within him.
