After being discharged from hospital, it was so frustrated to find a good attorney. I did my search, reach out some friend for recommendation, read reviews, consulting with 3-4 attorneys. Doing research to find a good attorney is stressful while I was on recovery and catching up with work. Some attorney representative just try to get my case by making me sign the paperwork right away or over promise and not discussing much about fee, the law lingo, and their approach on my case. It took me a week to research, consider and learn about the process. I end up choosing Brett because his assessment on my case seem very honest and straight forward. Also he is very clear about (1) worst case settlement (2) his rate (3) his approach on dealing with my case (4) he is not using any scare tactic or pressure to try to make me get into signing paperwork right away. At first, we got a moderate range settlement offer. He respected my decision if I want to that settlement and willing to reduce his fee so that I can get a fair portion.
