5 stars for Allister. He was part of our legal team and made the personal injury case for slip and fall very easy. Though the process was a little longer than expected due to COVID, everything was relatively easy and low stress. We were satisfied with the settlement overall. Though he did not have to, Allister Liao went above and beyond to help me and my family during a time of great confusion. He was extremely generous with his time, and his kindness was beyond belief. I had an accident on July of 2019 on the San Mateo Bridge , I was rear ended in the fast lane coming from Hayward to San Mateo.I retained Leonard Becker as my Attorney. That was the absolute worst Attorney to pick ithe end I was never informed n all of the Bay Area.This Attorney took 23 months to finally settle this case then after all this time I come out with 2,000 dollars. I would never recommend this Attorney to Anyone

Mark was thorough in his follow through and attention to my case. The only issue was in my case settlement exception which was set way to high based on we actually ended up receiving in the end. Ended up settling for less than 50% of what we had discussed due to the insurance company not moving and us not wanting to go to court once the costs for that process were discussed

I was in a car accident and was planning to handle my small personal injury case myself. I asked Mark Rosenberg to take a look at my demand letter. At this point I was stressed and tired of dealing with this myself, not always knowing the next step. Mark looked at the details of the case and felt that I could get more than I was asking for. He agreed to take the case. This was a huge load off my mind. He kept me informed during the whole process, answered questions clearly every time I asked, was surprisingly prompt in returning calls and emails. He convinced me that it was worth it for my husband, who didn't want to bother with this, to file a claim as well. In the end, we got almost three times what we were hoping for. I am a lawyer and former law teacher but I have never been a litigant myself. After a serious bicycle crash that broke my femur and elbow, I asked around for recommendations and found Kyle Smith of Bay Area Bicycle Law. Turns out he and I were both board members of Bike East Bay and I had met him in passing at a member meeting. Kyle did a spectacular job handling my claim and we achieved a maximum outcome, better than the insurance policy limits (of the owner of the unleashed dog that crashed into my bike while I was riding on the Bay Trail). That was possible because Kyle combined excellent negotiations with both the insurer and my medical provider (which held a lien for repayment of medical expenditures). In the end, he got the medical entity to reduce its claims so that my final settlement exceeded what I would have gotten if my settlement were at the policy limits and if I had to pay the full lien. Not only did Kyle guide me through the claiming process, he encouraged me to write a diary of my experiences during and after the crash. He was always available by phone and email. Most importantly, he understood my pain and loss and authored a compelling claim. I hardly recognized myself in his redrafting of my story and that turned out to be a good thing because I have a tendency to minimize pain and maximize rehabilitation. So in the end we achieved a maximum recovery and a maximum rehab. I'm happy to be back on the bike with a generous settlement achieved without having to go to court. The whole process took less than six months.

I was doored by a passenger exiting an Lyft without warning. My injuries were not life-threatening but it was about 8 - 10 weeks before I was quite over it. Luckily the police and paramedics were there almost immediately and the police (I discovered later) filed a police report that rightly put opening a car door into traffic as being the cause. I contacted Bay Area Bicycle Law to see if I could get some compensation for something that had banged me up quite badly, and they were wonderful! Kyle and all of the other people I worked with there were easy to work with, made time for me, kept me informed, and eventually got me a reasonable settlement. Very satisfied. I hope I never need them again, but if I should I wouldn't hesitate to contact them.
