When I has rear-ended while sitting dead still in traffic, the insurance company first tried to say I was not a passenger in the car and after that they came up with all kinds of other stonewalling activities to keep me from obtaining a fair settlement. He outsmarted them and squelched the agent at every turn and within a year obtained a settlement I could never have obtained on my own.
