I reached out to this company as I didn't know where to start with fighting an insurance company. I had tried for months to do it on my own, but never got anywhere. I called and was surprised how fast they transferred me to a very competent lawyer who was happy to help. I felt as though I was talking to a concerned friend, he was genuinely interested in helping. My claim wasn't worth much, but I felt justified in getting what was owed. My light in the dark in this case was Tim; and I must say, I've never liked a lawyer so much. A close family friend of mine highly recommended Tim O'Shea to me having used him as a worker's comp attorney and had a very positive experience and outcome. I highly recommend using Chris Hoffman as your attorney. Chris took on my case and it was a 2 1/2 year process. He was very professional and was patient with answering any questions that I had. He would make sure that I received clear explanations of each question before moving forward. If Chris didn’t think that he could have helped me with my case, he would have never taken it on and would have referred me to another attorney. Chris Hoffman helped me recently with my auto accident case. He fought for me against the insurance company for my underinsured motorist claim and was able to get the best settlement without us having to take it to court. He was professional, a great communicator and easy to talk to. I could tell he really cared about me as a person and not just as a client. He was able to answer any questions or concerns I had and make the whole process as smooth as possible. My case was a complicated case involving litigation in two states and he handled it easily. I'm so happy with the way my case turned out with Baumgartner Law. When I first received a call from the law firm, I felt immediately sympathized with after witnessing the tragic death of my dog from a dog attack and walking away with my own injuries. Sean and his team were working on a similar case already, and I knew I'd be in good hands. So far so good.. he has been very responsive to my friends case. And acted immediately, and I would like to see what the end result is, I pray for a great outcome. I spoke with a beautiful man... I had some issues about my landlord and this man was so informative it was unbelievable... though he was not able to take my case due to location he was a breath of fresh air.... if there is anyone and I mean anyone that is a person of color and needs help in the Denver area I would definitely request specifically Adam... this man is from New York and he’s knows the truth... i’m telling you this man was an angel... if only The world sees like this man... if only Attorney‘s heart was like this man... At first the office was responsive with the information that I needed to provide, which I did, however after some time I did not hear anything about whether the law firm was going to take my case or not. I just recently emailed one of the paralegals that I was in contact with for an update on whether the firm had decided to take my case. I found that my email had been blocked and when I called for assistance I had found that my number had also been blocked. If the firm did not want to take my case it is far easier to call, email, or mail a letter about their decision rather than blocking me and leaving me in the dark. Not impressed with the way this law firm handles business.

Sarah Schreiber and her assistant Alicia Collins did a fantastic job working to reach a settlement on my case pre-litigation. The paperwork was always in order, they followed up on everything, and Sarah explained in detail each step of the process so that I did not feel as though I was working in a vacuum. Because I was dealing with a severe concussion for a good chunk of the three-year period I worked with Sawaya, they had a lot of tracking and follow up to do with me to be sure everything was taken care of / signed in a timely manner. They did it with kindness and efficiency, getting their job done but with empathy towards my situation. I truly appreciate the work they did and the way that they handled my case.

This is not my account although. These people were lousy! I worked on my case for three years and I received money only from workmen's comp. For knee injury and they took that money as well. And never won me anything. I felt robbed cause check went to there bank. Then they cut me a smaller check. Money they never worked for! That money was for the part of body part I had injured. Although that was the least of my injuries. Just stay away better luck somewhere else.

CALL ANYONE ELSE YOU WONT REGRET IT!!! I called about a worker’s compensation claim and my case is apparently hard and they are not skilled to deal with apparently. This is the second experience sawaya let me down. Told me no and didn’t get to talk to a lawyer. Someone else did while I was on hold though. Then I explained things that they weren’t aware of, obviously, and she decides she’s going to ask him herself again that it might be different. No thanks. Days to respond and if it’s not easy money they don’t want it. Just like most big companies “here to help”. Yeah right. People like me need a lawyer and always get shut down. Because it requires actual skill.

I retained Matt after my workplace injury in 2019. Initially, I thought I wouldn’t need an attorney but shortly after my treatments began, the insurance company made me feel very disadvantaged without the help of a professional. I sensed that I was being pressured and need the advice of an expert. Matt made an entry of appearance and my anxieties were squashed immediately! Matt guided me through a very confusing and intimidating workers compensation system, keeping me abreast of my case throughout the process. So, I reached out to him via phone. I felt VERY hopeless and doomed at this point. I knew that what I was experiencing (the injury) was VERY real and not my fault!!
