If you are looking for a law group that has integrity and your best interest in heart and mind then you should hire the Cavanagh Law Group. They have a team that works closely with you and make sure you get what you deserve in your case. My experience with them was very friendly and pleasant. I switched to them about a year after my accident because I was unhappy with my representation. My friend recommended them and she was absolutely correct about how wonderful they were. I first met with Tim Cavanagh when I decided to ask them to represent me and then I worked mostly with Michael Sorich. I did encountered a few other of their attorneys when they would report to me or ask questions and I always felt they were working as a team on my case. They made me feel like I was being heard and that was important to me. I always felt like what I had to say was important and they always got back to me when I reached out in a timely manner. I was kept in the loop, knowing what I needed to know. I felt very comfortable with how all of our conversations went. My case took longer than anticipated because the other side would drag their feet, but Mr. Sorich never gave up. He had a positive focus and made me feel like my case was important. When I was finally awarded my settlement he made sure I was comfortable with the settlement amount. He was kind and caring enough months later to check and see how I was doing. I also received a message from Tim Cavanagh after I accepted the settlement congratulating me on my case being settled and closed. I hope never to be in an accident that I need a lawyer again, but if I ever am, I do know I would call The Cavanagh Law group and I would be confident they would work tirelessly to help me. WORST FIRM EVER!!!!!!!! READ WITH CAUTION. •This place preys on people in accidents somehow gets your number and tell you that your insurance company has partner you with a lawyer who’ll be representing your case for the accident you were in. WHICH WAS A LIE, If they hear about a car accident they go digging for clients number. •They will rush you to physical therapy of at a place of their choice ONLY because they’re good friends with the chiropractor who they do under the table business with to get money. •They will lie to you about how much you will be getting paid! They will drag your case on to the point you’ll be obtaining your own information calling around hospitals and billing for months-years. •When you call to ask about a update they will claim the hospitals haven’t sent anything over and they are still waiting when really they haven’t even sent anything to the hospital.... SO THE PARALEGAL ASSISTANTS ARE CLUELESS AND BARELY UNDERSTAND STANDARD ENGLISH. THE LAWYERS ARE ILLITERATE. THE ONLY TIME THEY WILL SPEAK TO YOU IS FOR THE RECORDED STATEMENT AND SETTLEMENT. •YOU WILL DO ALL OF THAT TO GET A SETTLEMENT OF 2,000 or maybe 3,500 if your lucky! This is by far the worst law firm in Chicago! If you get in a car accident DO NOT ANSWER THEM. Its been 3 months since my accident. And almost 2 months since my "physical therapy" ended and im yet to hear any update on my case. I have called all of their numbers available and no answer. The receptionist answered once and pretended like she couldn't hear me and hung up! That is definitely NOT PROFESSIONAL!!! After that the line rang and rang and rang and finally one of the operators answered just to put me on a callback list. I don't doubt after this they'll throw my case out! Let's see if this gets their attention atleast. They're just scammers. I JUST WANT A FREAKING UPDATE!!! DONT GO TO THEM!!

This people are by far the worst ever. They are ambulance chasers. What that means is they find clients through police reports and are so unprofessional. Valentina is so heartless and so is Jon Walner. They are rude people and they don’t help. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND DONT GO WITH THEM!!!!!!!!

I would recommend this law firm to everyone. Mitch was amazing He continually kept in contact with me. Mitch responded to every phone call and email I made. I had the unfortunate experience of falling on silly putty that had been brought to a high school where I was teaching, and I fell and broke my kneecap and needed to endure two surgeries and much time off of my leg. Of course I was at a disadvantage and in a great deal of pain. Being confused, I procured the services of Ridge & Downes Law Offices to help me with compensation and assistance in making my difficulties understood by the Chicago Public Schools where the accident took place. I had a great experience with Therman Law for a car accident. The at fault driver’s insurance was one of the famously worst insurances in the area with minimum coverage and yet Charles and his awesome staff (Karina, Kelly, and Anthony) were able to settle the case with the best result that was way beyond my expectations! I’ve never felt more taken advantage of by someone who is suppose to be looking out for my best interest. I was in a car accident I was already in a wheelchair when I had to endure another spinal cord surgery. When I first went to his office with my sister I was told going to court and asking for more money would always be an option. I later was told that was untrue because there was no more money I could get. I later agreed to put up $4902 of my own dollars to have Medicare allow me more money. I later was told we got you $9000 more, but never received the money I put up of my own. Not till after the fact that I was reaching out and being ignored was I told that the $9000 included the $4,902 I had put up. I have the statement that states the holdback for medical hardship appeal interest rate. But never received a statement stating I was being reimbursed for this. If that was the case then you didn’t get me $9000 more. I had made an appointment with them over this issue told them that I couldn’t be talking during the day because I had started a new job he then proceeded to call me repeatedly trying to bully me out of my meeting that’s when I knew he had no intentions of paying me. This was my first time contacting a lawyer. I appreciate that Andy took time for an initial (free) consultation to understand my situation and explained both the benefits and risks to me, including potential outcomes. He made me feel at ease by disclosing his fees were contingent based on a small portion of any recovered money (which was one of my concerns from the get-go). He is very knowledgeable with the Residential Landlord and Tenant Ordinance (RLTO) by asking relevant questions to formulate a detailed plan. The attorneys at BBG were exceptional. I was skeptical at first but I came to know that in Illinois, workers comp cases are difficult, long, and frustrating. We were referred to Richard Johnson of Katz Friedman Law Firm by a trusted family friend when my husband was injured at work several years ago. This was the best advice we ever followed. My husband’s work comp case and the subsequent disability case was very drawn out and complicated. Trying to navigate the confusing process for disability was very stressful and intimidating. I have used lawyer Frank Bertuca of the Law firm Katz, Friedman, Eisenstein, Johnson, Bareck, Bertuca 3 times over the last 15 years. Personally I don’t know a lot when it comes to legal matters. I’m a Flight Attendant who sustained an occupational injury while on a flight from San Francisco to London, which took me away from work for more than 8 months. John Budin@ Budin Law recently settled a claim for me. I was very satisfied with his work and attention to detail. I fractured my ankle 2 years ago. The insurance adjuster offered me a lowball settlement. I tried to negotiate with them and got nowhere. I was recommended to John Budin, who took on my case. He fought hard for me, not willing to accept their text book offer. He went back and battled for much larger settlement. As a result, I received a much larger compensation that included additional funds so that I could get more physical therapy treatments. Every time I would call to get information for my uncles case, no one would call back. I’ve left Donna’s assistant Veronica numerous voicemails & never got a call back. Definitely recommend you looking for another attorney, unless you don’t want a call back, then I suggest you stay here and get ignored. They do call you when you they want to take your case after you sign up with them it’s like you don’t matter. Best thing my uncle did was get another attorney.
