I highly recommend Joseph J. Leonard of the Leonard Law group to anyone in the Chicago area that is in need of a workers compensation attorney. He and his staff are professional, responsive and also pleasant to work with. I have had the misfortune of getting injured twice on the job, both requiring surgery. Fortunately I was referred to Joseph Leonard. Workers Comp Claims Adjusters can be extremely difficult and pretty much heartless, especially if you have not obtained an attorney! I learned quickly the first time when I was being strong armed by the claims adjuster and hired Joseph Leonard to handle the case. In both of my injury cases Joseph was quick to respond to and rectify any situations as they arose. I ended up with a settlement outcome better than anticipated! Mr. Geller accepted my case after others declined to take it on. After I explained my situation (what happened) Mr. Geller pretty much did all the driving from that point forward. He kept miscellaneous costs to a minimum and was very flexible with scheduling. We did most of our communications via email and phone, which was very convenient for me. His office is conveniently located downtown and next to a parking garage with ample parking space so when I had to come in, I had no issues with directions or finding parking (rare for downtown). Mr. Geller kept me informed of my case status from the inception and laid out realistic timelines and expectations for the case. What you see is what you get with Jeremy! I highly recommend!!

Adam was great while dealing with the case despite the insurance company I had to deal with because the individual whom hit my vehicle did not have insurance. It was tough dealing with this case especially in a middle of the pandemic. Although a few times communication was a little behind but I understand they have thousands of cases to handle so I won’t complain about that. But they were definitely a delight to deal with. Cass Casper and the Disparti law firm took on Cook county sheriff's Administrative Law review Court all the way up to the Illinois Supreme Court. Because of them l was awarded my back pay after being illegally suspended for years. This was a tremendous win after the county violated several labor laws and my due process rights. My wife had an accident awhile ago and Stone & Maya was referred to us and worked on trying to resolve the case with the insurance company. The firm kept us abreast throughout the process and explained the process and fee structure thoroughly from the start. As we waited some time as can happen in cases like this when it finally came time to provide a resolution to the case. I was contacted by one of the partners Larry Maya. He was very professional explained every aspect of the settlement details, gave his professional opinion on what options we had and also what he felt was in our best interest and course of action in resolving the case. He even explained in simple English terminology that was confusing and even how and why it applied according to IL law. The entire firms responsiveness was impeccable, meaning that within minutes if not a couple hours I was hearing a response back to any questions or responses back to my documentation sent.
