Shuman Legal is one of the only law firms that care about their clients not just a money number but actual injured human beings. The entire staff, from the people that answer the phones to the guy that sweeps up at night will be there for you as a team. I had many choices for an attorney but it was a no brainer hiring Marc Shuman. He really cares about me!! He has called me on the weekends just to see how I'm doing. Who does that? Someone who genuinely cares about his clients well-being. If you are looking for a great attorney with a great staff that makes everything you are going through easier. Some of these goofy commercials on TV are atrocious and these people only care about getting the check at the end and nothing in between. Like most cases, there was a wait and mine settled In a little over one year, but they kept me updated on everything I had to know. Plus there are plenty of Bilingual reps! I received my check in the mail despite moving out of state.

I was recently in a car accident and fractured my right wrist, I am a dance teacher so needless to say this was very hard trying to to recover and work with a fractured wrist. I have never been through anything like this before and was not sure how this whole process worked. I was so overwhelmed. I can't say enough wonderful things about Michael Brennan. We went to him after dumping a previous council because he was going to tell me to plead guilty. My wife had an accident awhile ago and Stone & Maya was referred to us and worked on trying to resolve the case with the insurance company. The firm kept us abreast throughout the process and explained the process and fee structure thoroughly from the start. As we waited some time as can happen in cases like this when it finally came time to provide a resolution to the case. I was contacted by one of the partners Larry Maya. He was very professional explained every aspect of the settlement details, gave his professional opinion on what options we had and also what he felt was in our best interest and course of action in resolving the case. He even explained in simple English terminology that was confusing and even how and why it applied according to IL law. The entire firms responsiveness was impeccable, meaning that within minutes if not a couple hours I was hearing a response back to any questions or responses back to my documentation sent. I believe they crossed T's and dotted I's to make sure that the final settlement was accurate and that there would be no surprises. I thought that he was extremely knowledgeable and experienced as a lawyer. As it turned out I didn’t need a lawyer, but I appreciated the time he took to talk to me. Mr. Geller accepted my case after others declined to take it on. After I explained my situation (what happened) Mr. Geller pretty much did all the driving from that point forward. He kept miscellaneous costs to a minimum and was very flexible with scheduling. We did most of our communications via email and phone, which was very convenient for me. His office is conveniently located downtown and next to a parking garage with ample parking space so when I had to come in, I had no issues with directions or finding parking (rare for downtown). Mr. Geller kept me informed of my case status from the inception and laid out realistic timelines and expectations for the case. What you see is what you get with Jeremy! I highly recommend!!

Adam was great while dealing with the case despite the insurance company I had to deal with because the individual whom hit my vehicle did not have insurance. It was tough dealing with this case especially in a middle of the pandemic. First of all l want to thank God for Cass Casper and him introducing me to Larry Disparti. Cass Casper and the Disparti law firm took on Cook county sheriff's Administrative Law review Court all the way up to the Illinois Supreme Court. Because of them l was awarded my back pay after being illegally suspended for years. This was a tremendous win after the county violated several labor laws and my due process rights.
