I’ve never felt more taken advantage of by someone who is suppose to be looking out for my best interest. I was in a car accident I was already in a wheelchair when I had to endure another spinal cord surgery. When I first went to his office with my sister I was told going to court and asking for more money would always be an option. I later was told that was untrue because there was no more money I could get. I later agreed to put up $4902 of my own dollars to have Medicare allow me more money. I later was told we got you $9000 more, but never received the money I put up of my own. Not till after the fact that I was reaching out and being ignored was I told that the $9000 included the $4,902 I had put up. I have the statement that states the holdback for medical hardship appeal interest rate. But never received a statement stating I was being reimbursed for this. If that was the case then you didn’t get me $9000 more. I had made an appointment with them over this issue told them that I couldn’t be talking during the day because I had started a new job he then proceeded to call me repeatedly trying to bully me out of my meeting that’s when I knew he had no intentions of paying me. Disappointing. I really had high hopes based on the online search, but I now know firsthand that the posted reviews are not reliable. When I met with the lawyer, I was told my case should take no longer than six weeks to finalize. Well, that was a joke. It took nearly an entire year! In the beginning, for the entire first month, I didn't hear a word from anyone at the office. I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't even looked at my case during that time. As time went on, there were numerous weeks that passed where I wondered if they were even working on my case or if they had tossed it to the side. I felt like I was always the one contacting them to receive updates. They are terrible at communicating and I was always left wondering what was going on with my case. When I ask for any new information, sometimes I never even received a response. Other times, the responses made me feel like it was just a line they gave to keep me at bay for another week or two.
