My Attorney Eric Landry and his assistant Linda Montalbano are absolutely amazing at what they do as well as personable people. After talking to my family and my Aunt suggesting I call Dudley DeBosier, I felt a weight being lifted off of my shoulders. Eric and Linda always kept in touch with me letting me know everything that was going on with my case. They answered any and all of my questions. They returned my calls quickly. This is the absolute worst office I could have ever reached out to. Not only were they not helpful but the service I received from one of their paralegals, Bambi Christensen was completely insulting and unprofessional to say the least. She ignored my phone calls for over a week and did not even bother returning my call until I spoke with someone else at the office regarding my case. There’s a certain level of professionalism that should be displayed when dealing with clients. There’s also a level of respect that should be required when dealing with people. It’s very simple. Treat people like people. If I could rate this office lower than one star, I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!!!

I first was introduced to this firm last year from an on the television. I called one morning , and I was able to speak to Andrew Geiger in the first call. He took time out and met with me that very day. Anytime, I call or email, I have always had a quick response and have been informed of the status of my case through the entire process. Everyone from the receptionist to assistants are always courteous, prompt and attentive when visiting or calling. Recently, I had to call upon the firm for another case. I researched attorneys for a couple of years after my accident all over the U.S. Many of them did not seem to be interested in my well being but more of how it will benefit them. I was very happy to find one of the best attorneys right here in New Orleans. From my first contact with Tim I felt very comfortable and knew I found the right person. Tim did so much for me even before I even decided to hire him. His whole staff have taken a very important interest in me making sure I knew everything that is going on with my case and going above and beyond answering any questions I have. In closing hiring an attorney is always a scary thing but hiring Tim Young and his firm has by-far been one of the best decisions I have ever made. If you have any doubts about hiring an attorney put your mind at ease and just call and you will find out he is a real person before an attorney.

I was originally referred to Egenberg Law Firm, specifically Mr. Simon Levitsky after Hurricane Ida. Despite years of paying my flood and home insurance premiums, I was left in the dark from both adjusters well after the 60-day grace periods from the storm. Worse off, I originally received $12,000 from flood and $480 (YES that is not a typo) from home insurance, despite our roof blowing off, the chimney falling through the roof, water coming through the ceiling, flooding 6 inches, and having to completely demo and refurbish the house. Understandably both insurance companies were swamped with dealing with the aftermath of hurricane Ida, but not once did I hear from either adjuster on what was and was not covered despite dozens of calls, voicemails, and emails being left. This made it so I couldn’t even cash my meager checks because my mortgage company would not endorse the payments without a final assessment from the insurance adjusters. Feeling hopeless, I reached out to Simon, who was personally referred to me by a friend, who walked me through each step of the litigation process. He had his own private adjuster perform a thorough inspection of the house (for reference, flood and home adjusters spent maybe 30 minutes inspecting while Simon’s adjuster spent closer to 2 hours and went through the pictures I took as well). Simon handled all negotiations with the insurance agencies, and before I knew it, I had all the flood and home adjusters’ documentation I needed to get the checks endorsed by the mortgage company to begin repairs (at this point this was close to 3 months later without any repairs being done). In total, Simon expedited $90,000 from the insurance companies to begin repairs. However, since his adjuster quoted the repairs to cost around $140,000, Simon stated I should not be satisfied with this amount. With the discrepancy of payments and, and the lack of response from the insurance companies, he got an ADDITIONAL $90,000 from home insurance ALONE (flood insurance is still pending). I was astonished how low the insurance companies quoted me and how quickly they changed their tune when Simon and Egenberg Lawyers got involved. Even more, this whole process cost me ZERO out of pocket. And with his compensation being directly related to how much I was paid, he was extremely motivated to get me the maximum possible refund, even working through the holiday season. Would I have rather the insurance companies paid a fair amount and not have had to hire an attorney? Obviously yes. But I can honestly say Simon handled my case with great care and walked me through the entire process and was never too busy to answer the phone when I had questions. I could not recommend him enough to handle any claims cases and have passed his information to numerous friends in similar situations as myself. Going through this entire process, it has been made clear that insurance companies bank on customers accepting being low-balled, and I would hire Simon Levitsky in a heartbeat if I were to go through this process again.

When I say this is a first class law firm I mean that in every sense of the word. I had to reach out to the firm due to hurricane Ida and my insurance companies lackadaisical responses in getting back to me about my claim. my back was against the wall. I reached out to Mr. Eggenberg’s law firm and I mean immediately immediately I was contacted back and his partner Max Sternberg listened to every issue I had with concern empathy and immediately took action. I called my insurance company several times multiple times and on each occasion I would get drop calls or the runaround from this number to that number but once I turned everything over to Atty Eggenberg and his staff immediately my issue was resolved!! this firm really and truly cares about their the client. first and foremost on each time I’ve had to call the office I received nothing but courteous and professional service. I love Mr. Eggenberg’s TV commercials he is truly a man of his word and he loves his clients he loves people and they are professional at what they do and experts on any and all legal subject matters that affect their clients. they will ensure that their clients get the best service possible. My experience with this firm was so terrible I’m considering starting a campaign against them receiving new clients! If you are not a BIG CASE for them you will be treated as if your case means absolutely NOTHING! although they’ll be getting a FAIR percentage of your settlement you’ll have to stay on top of THEM because the communication level here is BEYOND reasonable with paralegal support. I have TWO cases with this firm one being a car accident and another being a clear clotted ON VIDEO slip and fall caused by negligence from my apartment owners after ONE YEAR of work orders going unanswered. Pretty decent case to have on your desk but it was treated like NOTHING because I didn’t have to have surgery or anything. The car accident case which was pretty straight forward I was hit took an entire year and I was given EVERY EXCUSE YOU CAN IMAGINE for the process , sometimes just nothing. After agreeing to take less and my lawyer Mr. Vincent Impastato agreeing to lower his percentage as well we FINALLY came to a settlement. I professionally asked my lawyer if it was okay that I saw the checks before they were deposited into the firms account and that’s when EVERYTHING went wrong. From that day it took 35 days for the check to get in. Then when it got in. I was told it would take at least three days to clear with the bank. After three days of course I had to reach out for that status and at that point was told I would have to wait another three days because he was unaware no one would be in the office to sign the check , then you would think because I’ve waited almost 40 days for a settlement after it was agreed upon and pushed back repeatedly that I would get a first thing in the morning appointment Monday morning to get this handled. I was told come in AFTER lunch at 1:30pm as if ANY court is open right now during Convid-19. I’m a REPEATED client with this company and even referred TWO clients to them as well but my problem did not start until my lawyer was changed due to my original lawyer passing off cases. Believe me , I’m FORCED to give one star because I don’t believe it’s worth that! I will be doing WHATEVER I can to make sure this treatment isn’t presented to anyone else. READ THE REVIEWS!!! Go somewhere else!!!
