When two cars broke the light, collided at an intersection and barrelled towards me waiting on my bike, I was pitched 10 ft and landed on my left hip and leg. MGH ex-rays showed no broken bones but I was unable to move for several weeks. The severe pains, trauma, sleepless nights, and inability to work for compelled me to seek some form of compensation especially as it was no fault of my own. Worse yet, I could not play tennis, cycle or go jogging for several months without pain! I googled several bicycle attorneys' websites and the small firm of Mitcheson & Lee appealed to me because of their bicycle safety advocacy and excellent client testimonials. Luke Mitcheson and his team has been very accommodating, reassuring, compassionate, utterly professional, and took up my case with great interest as they guided me through the legal process. As the massive medical bills started coming to me, Luke's medical billing advice was invaluable in avoiding any out-of-pocket payments! When the driver's insurance company low-balled me at $2k, Luke and I thought it ridiculous prompting him to arrange a deposition with them in which I pleaded my case about the many months of intense pain and suffering. Luke then negotiated and secured the maximum compensation for this type of accident - $20k! I hope that none of my acquaintances have to use their service, but if so, I highly recommend these friendly professionals!!! I went to Parker and Scheer two years ago when I was hit riding my bicycle in NYC. This was a difficult and helpless time. Surgery was required and I didn't have health insurance. Lenny and his team are amazing. They went above and beyond to help me through a very difficult time after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Lenny listened to the account of my accident and immediately began working on the case. His staff handled all my medical bills and treatments even getting the cost(s) of treatments lowered when the insurance company wouldn't pay. Lenny was well educated on my injuries. After explaining what happened to me. Intake from the receptionist, she called back hours later and said I have no case and that I caused my arm to get burned while holding my child. As if she was there and knows what happened. I didn’t argue with her, just simply said I’ll leave a review. She (the receptionist) and her firm, “victim blamed” me which is very unprofessional. I have since then sought out a new law firm who is very much interested in my case. Sorry not sorry Sprada...

I was referred to Attorney Andrew Brodie by a trusted professional contact, and was immediately struck by his remarkable ease of demeanor, unrelenting professionalism, and an intelligence that is both encyclopedically correct and dynamically adaptive to situation and context. In fact I’m not sure I know anyone so early in their career who carries themselves and interacts with their clients with such courtesy, integrity, and wisdom. He can communicate complex scenarios and tricky situations in a comprehensible way that goes a long way to getting to the bottom of and resolving problems, while somehow keeping the experience pleasant and easygoing throughout. Although I am not experienced in the area, Attorney Brodie’s mastery of cycling caselaw and practice seemed both formidable and complete. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in how this law firm handled our case. They are far from responsive, their secretary will ALWAYS tell you “Oh they’re in a meeting right now, can they call you back” and you will NEVER get a call back. They left us hanging onto hope for TWO YEARS and did NOTHING to work on our case!! We finally had enough and went with someone much more professional!!! Please don’t waste your time with them.
