I went to Parker and Scheer two years ago when I was hit riding my bicycle in NYC. This was a difficult and helpless time. Surgery was required and I didn't have health insurance. I had never been through anything like this before and didn't know where to turn. I was referred to Eric Parker and suddenly a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Eric got right to work with guiding me through the process. This included face to face meetings, preps before appointments and debriefs after IME's. When two cars broke the light, collided at an intersection and barrelled towards me waiting on my bike, I was pitched 10 ft and landed on my left hip and leg. MGH ex-rays showed no broken bones but I was unable to move for several weeks. The severe pains, trauma, sleepless nights, and inability to work for compelled me to seek some form of compensation especially as it was no fault of my own. Worse yet, I could not play tennis, cycle or go jogging for several months without pain! I googled several bicycle attorneys' websites and the small firm of Mitcheson & Lee appealed to me because of their bicycle safety advocacy and excellent client testimonials. Luke Mitcheson and his team has been very accommodating, reassuring, compassionate, utterly professional, and took up my case with great interest as they guided me through the legal process. As the massive medical bills started coming to me, Luke's medical billing advice was invaluable in avoiding any out-of-pocket payments! When the driver's insurance company low-balled me at $2k, Luke and I thought it ridiculous prompting him to arrange a deposition with them in which I pleaded my case about the many months of intense pain and suffering. I was referred to Attorney Andrew Brodie by a trusted professional contact, and was immediately struck by his remarkable ease of demeanor, unrelenting professionalism, and an intelligence that is both encyclopedically correct and dynamically adaptive to situation and context. In fact I’m not sure I know anyone so early in their career who carries themselves and interacts with their clients with such courtesy, integrity, and wisdom. They are far from responsive, their secretary will ALWAYS tell you “Oh they’re in a meeting right now, can they call you back” and you will NEVER get a call back. That was our first and hopefully last time dealing with such cases. We expected the process to be complex and expensive. Kelly & Associates made the experience easy and smooth. Few phone call, few emails, that's all. We were satisfied with settlement, although it wasn't a giant check for billboard ad, but enough to cover med expenses and get something on the top. I would certainly recommend the firm.

Normally I don’t write negative reviews but I can’t recommend this firm. They couldn’t get enough settlement which covers Med bills. They didn’t send the settlement check for more than 4 months after the case was closed, even though I called and emailed many times. Communication is definitely an issue for them.

David was my attorney in a law suit. He is someone that I would recommend highly. It was the first time that I was involved in a court matter. David was easy to speak with. He was patient and calming. During the process which lasted over a year he was always available. He always kept his appointments, would take a call or return a message that day and if you need to meet he would fit you into his calendar in day or two. He took time to fully understand the matter at hand and the history of what happened. David Dwork did a phenomenal job for us! We were sued by a company whose had a vendetta against one of us. After several rounds (winning then losing), the company sued us individually.
