I was a victim of a slip and trip accident at a prominent casino. 4 other firms turned down my case. Mr. Smith was my last chance. I am glad I made the call to him when I did. He fully explained that cases like this are a hard win, because the property has to accept liability. He took on my case and was diligent with acquiring all document from my medical providers. This was a long case held up by my very own medical providers, but Mr. Smith persevered and kept after what was needed. All of this while he experienced office staff changes, various paralegals errors combined with a strong caseload of his own. The fruit of the tree came to pass, he secured me a settlement that exceeded my minimum acceptable settlement.... SIGNIFICANTLY.. exceeded. I would recommend this firm and Johnathan Smith to anyone who feels they need a real advocate.

I'm about to cry, I thought it was me. I called and called, emailed and emailed I did 3 get calls and a couple of emails with promises of actions, if they were done I don't know all I know is I depleted my savings (my problem) . I finally confided in a family member and was told to look up this firm's reviews I'm totally shocked to fine others with the same experience that I am going through. The no return calls when promised or the unresponsive emails. Now I'm facing termination because workmans comp has decided that therapy isnt the answer and on top of it all an unnamed paralegal told me to call my HR and communicate with them I thought that was what they were for, my back is now against the wall and I feel stuck- at this point I don't know what to do I am very disappointed with this service.

I should have known that there would be trouble by the way that it started. My call was finally returned on a Friday at EOD. It was obvious, by his tone, that he was uninterested, in no mood to actually have the conversation, but did so out of obligation. I was called to be instructed to gather every document in regards to my matter and that I would be contacted on Monday. During our next conversation, I realized that EOD on a Friday was not the cause of his rude, short, and unprofessional manner. Each conversation after our first always caused me to reevaluate my decision about moving forward. I felt pressure to answer questions that I did not know the answer to. I felt responsible for researching information that I believed to be apart of his duties. I was required to repeat information that was already provided on an earlier date, multiple times. When this action was questioned, I was provided with an excuse, blame that I wasn’t following up in a timely manner. This excuse was used again after him and his assistant failed to follow up for a week. The entire process was exhausting, stressful, and a complete waste of time. Aaron Schwartz was argumentative, short, rude, and irresponsible with me. He seems he is unable to take responsibility for his actions, quick to blame. Not only did Aaron Schwartz make me feel like his next case, I was not confident in his ability to help.

I am so greatful for the work Lloyd Eisenberg did on my very difficult Workers Compensation claim. Unfortunately for me, Lloyd was the second Attorney I hired to represent me. I was represented by the firm for a workers compensation case, these cases take time especially when it results in surgery and prolonged medical or therapy treatments. I have never had this sort of case before and I didn't to know what to expect so there were many unknowns, but I did expect to know details, have thorough communication and premier preparedness before, during and after all hearings. I suggest that you (the client) make a list of your questions and make it clear that you want details of how your case is going to be processed, tell the firm that you want each step explained to you in layman terms so that you know and understand what is being done, the reason why its being done that way and what is next in the chain of events. I suggest that you keep records of your questions and all communication responses that you receive, (date and time of any and all calls/emails/messages/documents, your questions asked and answers if given) If you don't do this you will find yourself in many unpleasant situations without proof of what you were told. I suggest that you do your research as well. You need to know what the laws/rules/protection/processing of your type of case in your state. Communication with explanation is very important and understanding what is going on and what the other side is going to try to get you to settle for, be educated to the game, .... you have to be happy with the future, SO NEVER settle for less than you should, Know Your Value and What Your Body Injuries Are Worth there is a body part injury scale that is used to determine the price for each body part and its best to know your percentage of disability as determined by your evaluating physician. Insist on full and timely communication with explanations and nothing less. Some of this was satisfactory and some of it was not... I hope knowing this information will prepare clients no matter what their case type might be and firm in their servicing of all clients.

I spoke to Ryan Foran about 2 weeks ago about a settlement offer a relative of mine received and and wanted to know if he could assist in getting a higher settlement. Eventually, he tells me that I want someone to work for free....??? I paused for a moment and told him that I was calling for a consultation and he was free to tell me that he couldn't be of service at any time. The "conversation" ended shortly after that. I'm glad that he didn't offer to take the case because he was extremely rude not only with his words but also with his tone (he seemed to be in a hurry and kept cutting me off). I wouldn't suggest that anyone work with an attorney that's going to treat you however. If they take your case, they're the ones who are supposed to be helping you. If they don't want the case, all they have to do is say so. It's also a bad look on his firm because he shares the same last name as the firm. I never looked at the website but I think it's safe to assume that he's one of the two named partners. Not the best representative.

When you are a client they take VERY long to return your calls if they even return your calls. They do not keep you updated. I don't know before when I looked for them they felt like they were on top of everything. But the next 2 times felt like they just didn't put much time into our case. With that said they do work with you and try to fit into your schedule also their chiropractic is really recommended.
