After 9 years of receiving 3rd party disability benefits, the insurance company requested I do an independent medical exam. Shortly after the exam, I received a letter that my benefits would be terminated because according to the exam, I could do my work duties with no problem. This couldn't be further from the truth. I had no clue where to start trying to appeal that decision so I reached out to the Hickory Brain Injury Support Group. They referred me to Charles G Monnett III & Associates. After exchanging information via email for a short time, I started working with Matthew C. Berthold. I got Mr. Berthold all the information and contact information that he would need to begin communication with the insurance company. After one or two phone calls and getting the needed information from me he began taking care of the appeal. Most of our interaction was done through email. He prepared a well written letter in the appeal contradicting what the independent medical exam said. He knew what to look for in both correspondence from the insurance company and the independent medical exam. There was status updates from him as the appeal progress proceeded. I didn't have to have a lawyer to file the appeal but expected it would have to go to court for things to be made right and get my benefits back. Mr. Berthold with Charles G Monnett III & Associates helped me get my benefits reinstated via the appeal he filed for me. I couldn't be happier with the job he did for me not only because of the reinstatement but because he always made me feel as he cared and had things under control. Actions speak and the actions of anyone I dealt with at Charles G Monnett III & Associates were above what I would've expected. I HIGHLY recommend this firm and Matthew C. Berthold.

Lauren Newton is absolutely fantastic! I contacted Charles G. Monnett III & Associates on October 3rd 2018, the day I had my wreck. Lauren immediately called me and set into motion. She was very patient with all of my questions and concerns. A few days later I went into her office and she took the time to hear my entire story about all the details of my wreck. Throughout the entire process Lauren kept me involved & informed with every step she was taking to make sure I was taken care of. Now that my case has concluded, Lauren made sure I was happy with the outcome and the amount I was receiving from the settlement. The Sasser Law Firm has a very good team of professional's waiting to be on your side. I hired them back in late 2018 to help me with my disability case. Without them on my side I wouldn't have got approved as soon as I did. If you can't work any more; let them be your team to get you through all of the legalities while filing for disability. My only regret was I didn't file sooner then what I did; I didn't want to admit it and or loose my independence; but I finally admitted it to myself and filed for disability and hired them to get me through this process. This law firm is amazing. I’ve tried to get VA disability in the past and I never got approved because I didn’t know what to do or who to ask or anything about the process. The VA has a tendency to make the disability process some nebulous thing you can’t get your mind around. I finally reached out to Jan Dils and her firm. Haley and Jade were the easiest people to work with. They never let me go more than a month or so without letting me know what was going on with my claim. I got awarded my claim about 3 months ago and I have no one to thank other than Jan Dils and her firm. If you’re having trouble getting your claim approved I definitely recommend them. Don’t try the process on your own. Let professionals who only work with VA claims help you navigate the paperwork and the bureaucracy. They’re the best, bar none.

Everyone was a pleasure to work with. I was assigned my own account specialist and specific attorney so I worked with the same team through the entire process which made everything much less stressful. Words cannot express the gratitude that I fell about Jeff and Katrina. I was in a car accident last year during COVID-19 , that accident put me in the hospital. The driver of the cause of the accident had no car insurance and was driving a stolen rented vehicle. My husband and I went to them for legal advice and they took on our case, within 7 months they were able to fight for me and win our case. Unfortunately I've been coming to Brian Debruns office for years for accidents that weren't my fault. But his team is amazing. I've experienced them all as far as them representing me but William & Debbie gets down to business. William stayed on top of everything and kept me informed about every step being taken in the process and Ms. Debbie, she don't play she will get the answers you need right when you need them.
