We think the world of Mike MeKenna and his office. They were always there for my husband and me after my husband was in a devastating motorcycle accident. He was severely injured and lost his left leg, in an accident that was not his fault. This is a compassionate group of people which was paramount to us at this time. McKenna’s group did all they could for us, and is still there for us, even after settlement with the other driver’s insurance company. I would recommend them to anyone!

Kavanagh & Kavanagh is a law firm in my hometown that an acquaintance had recommended. I had been denied a worker's compensation case and have been trying with no avail to be awarded a favorable decision for Social security disability. Victoria represented me in both cases which became a worker's comp settlement with a lump sum and I was awarded SSD. The office staff are kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend Victoria and also have heard her husband does a great job as well. I am very grateful and pleased with the firm.

Mr. Kavanagh facilitated a VERY favorable plea deal which included 7 traffic violations. The top charge of reckless driving (over 124 mph) carried a jail sentence if convicted. My partner and I live out of state and he suffers from mental illness. He was on a "road trip" while off of his medications thinking he was being followed and that his death was imminent. This very sad and frightening experience took my partner from NY through 3 other states. Mr. Kavanagh was very compassionate, responsive and professional. There is a human element to him. His background working in mental health certainly helped him convey my partners story to the prosecutor. His office staff is second to none. Ella was communicative and helpful throughout the entire process. She was also very compassionate to this extenuating circumstance. Mr. Kavanagh was able to get the top charges knocked down with no jail sentence and no license suspension; we only had to pay some fines. This was a very serious matter. For someone with mental illness and no contacts or knowledge of the laws in NJ because we live out of state, we could not have asked for a better outcome. We cannot thank Mr. Kavanagh and his staff enough. They did an outstanding job and we are very glad to put this behind us and move on. Mr. Kavanagh has our highest recommendation.

I went into Borbi, Clancy, and Patrizi nervous and had no idea What my next step should be. I was dealing with a situation where I was not being heard. I had a physician tell me to live with my pain and condition. I was sent to another doctor a year later and was told I needed surgery. Mr. Clancy was very patient with me. I felt very naive and felt like my employer had steamed rolled me. It took a while but the outcome was more than expected. Mr. Clancy took the time to explain to me step by step what was going to happen and was even very understanding when I had to take some time to think about things. I highly recommend this law firm!

We have been working with Jim Clancy for the past 7 years off and on. He is reliable and very honest. He tells you the way it is and doesn't beat around the bush. He is funny and will always look at things from both sides for you. You do want someone like him to represent you. He shows up to your appointments and walks you through the whole process. After a car crash I knew there was something wrong but doctors were treating me for typical neck and low back pain. I called Adam Starr because I knew he had a background in nursing and as an attorney I knew he could get me in to the see the doctors I needed to. It was the best phone call I ever made. I was treated with utmost respect and understood my feelings when I endured a car accident. Some of the nicest down to earth professional mannerisms and people you could hope for. Even felt better walking away knowing a case for my Dad isn't going to go anywhere, after talking to these gentlemen. Who knew you could feel better after really getting no where with the nursing home, state, other consults that just sounded disingenuous etc. I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience. Upfront and honest about everything, I love that!
