This guy took my case where drunk driver hit me and my seven-year-old son. February 2nd 2016. I have not received the dollar. I have a ripped disc 2 herniated disc 5 bulging disc. Terrible!!!! I was in a bad car accident, I was referred to Peter M Romero he didn't do anything for my case or me at all! I was 9 months pregnant when I was hit by another driver. I met with Peter M Romero he told me he would take care of everything for me, that I would not have to deal with anyone. During that difficult time they did not do anything! I had to deal with everything on my own especially after giving birth & having a back injury from the car accident. I called Peter M Romero to try to figure out when I was going to get a rental car while my car was in the repair shop, no answer I left many messages. Finally when I went to pick up the rental car that Peter M Romero office called & supposedly took care of the rental car company was trying to put me in a 2 door car! My back was injured, I just gave birth & had my 2 year old to put in a car seat too. I couldn't believe they expected me to bend over to lean over to put my newborn & toddler in their car seats in the back of a 2 door super small car. The car rental company told me that Peter M Romero's office said it was ok when asked what type of car. I called Peter M Romero's office the secretary answered she was so rude & very unprofessional she told me she didn't know & hung up on me! I could not believe how rude & that she hung up on me! I called asked to speak with Peter Romero but got his voice mail again, he finally called back I told him what happened he never apologized he was making excuses for his secretary's behavior & for hanging up on me. After only having them for a couple of weeks of doing absolutely nothing, I fired them. They never did anything at all but put a lien on my settlement & took $1,500 for doing absolutely nothing! I asked for a detailed bill statement from them asking why in the world they thought they could bill me for that ridiculous amount for doing nothing, the bill shows they did 6 hours of making copies of what?!!!! I would never recommend or tell anyone to use this attorney!!!

I had no problem obtaining my Social Security Disability Income on the first attempt which happens 33.7% of the time. I had 2 Long Term Disability policies which I purchased with after tax dollars and had paid into both of them for over 20 years. The larger of the 2 plans was professional and fair with me, and ultimately awarded my benefits. It was the second company that refused to pay me the policy benefits because I had disagreements with the state medical board regarding my ability to safely practice medicine given the multiple health issues I had and how they were treated. Mr. Vigil did his homework on my complex case, and crafted a rebuttal to the initial refusal to award long term disability benefits. It was based on the truth regarding my complex health issues, third party evaluations of my health issues, and total understanding of disability law. I thought that this company would not reconsider paying my benefits, but the excellent rebuttal/response by Mr. Vigil to the company's incorrect assessment of my personal circumstances resulted in the company reversing their initial refusal to pay the policy. I was awarded the full dollar amount that the policy was obliged to pay, as well as payment of back benefits while we awaited reconsideration of my case. Mr. Vigil was fairly compensated in a manner that I understood from the beginning. He was a pleasure to work with, and I was very pleased with the fact that he was ALWAYS available to me if I had any questions or concerns about my case.
