I've had some issues trying to get someone to help me. I had been thru several paralegals, I would either call or email the paralegal regarding the issue, and i wouldn't hear back. A couple of weeks ago a gentlemen reached out to me ( Anthony Early) because I had been trying to reach Jorge Alvarez, Anthony called me apologized for the " lack of communication" and went to bat for me, he talked with the carrier and within 2 days the problem had been taken care of. I cannot say enough about how great this law firm has been in my worker's comp case with NYC. From the minute I signed the retainer with a broken hand, the process was smooth, the staff was knowledgeable and courteous, and communication was spot-on when developments arose. After the way that I was treated for the last six years by the Bongiorno Law Firm, I am writing the first review of my life….First off, I have to thank Richie for not letting me walk out the door and forget everything. He asked me kindly not to leave and to give the Bongiorno Law Firm a shot being that I had nothing to lose as It was determined by my surgeon and New York State that I was permanently disabled. I’m a Union Laborer for 24 years in New York City and I was injured because of negligence on the job. I want to thank all of the girls in the office , especially Soula for keeping me informed, reminding me of all of my doctors appointments , and most importantly for calling me just to check on my well being. Next , I want to thank Michelle for all of the calls to tell me that one of the lawyers would be meeting me at every doctor’s appointment that I had. When I first contacted Richard at The Bongiorno Law Firm following a car accident, I was immediately at ease. He sat with me and talked me through my case every step of the way. I was never put off, or rescheduled, never told that they couldn't see me or make time to answer even the smallest of questions I had. The entire office is professional, understanding and patient. Thorough doesn't begin to describe their whole team. I was treated like family through every step of my case. Every person I spoke to recognized me by voice over the phone, always had my information at their fingertips, and never made me feel like a "number". The rare times I had to leave a message/voicemail, it was answered within hours. The team that was behind my case was outstanding. When it was time for my deposition, Keri Lynn expertly coached me through what was expected of me. I was always in contact with my team, with emails, direct phone numbers, even personal cell numbers. Richard also put me in contact with my surgeon. I had seen multiple doctors of various areas of expertise, but when it came down to the fact that I would require surgery on my neck, he sent me to the best of the best. The pain that I was in, and the rapid deterioration of my health and mental state was pushing me to a breaking point. The personalized care and attention to detail from Richard, his colleagues, his staff, the entire office was truly outstanding. Andrew is one of the few lawyers that actually listens to you. He returns phone calls/text and answers any questions that you may be confused about. Chopra & Nocerino, LLP, took on my case without hesitation even though it was known to be a very difficult case. I was in a pedestrian knockdown case where I crossed mid block, not within the intersection or crosswalk, and got hit by a vehicle. I was injured as a result of the accident, especially my head. I was said to have a traumatic brain injury. Although many firms were skeptics to help me, Chopra & Nocerino LLP were able to secure the full tender of the ENTIRE SEVEN FIGURE insurance policy. I am overwhelmed with joy and happiness, I couldn’t recommend this firm more to anyone. They set a goal for each case they take on and don’t stop until the end, regardless of whatever uphill battle they may face. My case settled this month!! MY CASE SETTLED FOR 1.25 MILLION! I remember when I had my accident, immediately started calling lawyers who specialized in cases with The City of New York & MTA. Two years ago, I lost my beloved husband as a result of medical malpractice. I knew that the medical staff at a "leading" hospital in New York City ultimately was responsible for his death. Steve Palermo, his assistant, Ana, and the rest of his staff have been a pleasure. Everyone made me feel comfortable and confident. During trial, Steve gave the jury a full accounting and mental picture of what I've gone through.
