Clearly, this law firm does not care too much about people. I made 4 calls over the span of a month and the only return call I got was from the receptionist, who asked me for basic information regarding the case I was hoping to start. We had a horrible accident about a year ago and chose H&C based on their name (commercials, etc.). Our results were positive and our experience was not great. To be fair we the settlement we received was as good as could be expected, A+ and 5/5. Communication: I emailed they replied, I called they called back. I needed any real answers, see below. A+ and 5/5. Real-time information: No one from start to finish ever gave us any idea of what kind of money the health insurance companies would get from our settlement until the end, almost as much as the firm. Would the results have changed? Probably not. However information is vital and we didn’t get much. What happens when you get a settlement? No guidance at all. What percentage might you actually keep? Never discussed (surprise). What tax liability may you have? They’re not accountants but with their own experience at least some guidance is expected for the fee collected. When you think it’s over? Nope more liability, more things to sign without any guidance or warning. F and 0/5. Again to be fair we likely got the best outcome possible because in my opinion our case was cut and dry. If I need a lawyer in the future I would choose someone else to represent us so we had a better understanding of what to expect.

Hughes and Coleman have been great since my original call. On the phone I spoke to Lynn who was great and very sympathetic for the my mother. When I discussed the injury she was genuinely concerned. Within two weeks they sent one of their field representatives out, his name was Joel Willoughby. Joel came out to the house and was very concerned, polite, professional, prepared and sympathetic for what my mother was going through. My mom was able to sign all necessary paperwork without having to leave the house. This was great since getting around now is difficult for her.
