Obviously my name is not John Doe; I'm using that for privacy reasons because my case isn't quite yet shut and I'd rather not have my name publicly connected to my case (or at least minimize how public it is). The Suzuki Law firm was awesome in my case. My sister and I got into an argument online around October of last year, and some things happened that led to her reporting me to the police and I ended up getting arrested on 3 misdemeanor charges; Mr. Richard Smith handled my case and he got me down from a $2800 fee and 18 months jail to just some counseling and community service and a $280 fee, only a TENTH of what I initially would have had to pay, and case dismissed with prejudice, assuming everything is successfully met within the next six months (forgive me Mr. Smith if there was more than that you negotiated for me or if it is incorrect; as far as I'm aware, that is what it was). They gave me a payment price that I was able to follow through with when I hired them, and I will be forever grateful for the hard work that was put in and kept me out of jail; I'll be able to get this out of the way quickly and put it behind me and move on with my life. If you need attorneys that know their stuff and can help you out, I strongly recommend Suzuki Law!

I contacted Suzuki Law Offices when a relative got into a situation which landed them in jail. I called on a Sat. and spoke to William, who was more than willing to inform me of the legal ramifications of the situation and the costs associated with legal representation by his firm. I took the weekend to take it all in. I called on Monday and signed and paid for a jail visit agreement. On Tuesday the state appointed lawyer called me. I really liked her and decided to let her be the legal counsel for my relative. I called William and to my surprise his firm gave me a full refund, even though he and I had communicated quite a bit and I had even spoken with one of the attorneys. He even told me if I have any questions, concerns, or need a document reviewed, feel free to call. They are here to help! I was very impressed and will definitely keep them in mind if the need for legal counsel/representation ever arises. A law firm that cares more about you than the almighty dollar - how refreshing!!! The very worst experience ever. No contact no follow-through no nothing. Victor states he’s an attorney but he’s not. Confirmed with the state bar. They took my $3500 and did absolutely nothing didn’t even notify me that I was going to get charges filed on me.I received a letter from the state with charges and had to call Mr.Knowles Who is too busy to talk to his client. No call back had a call back two days later. Had to contact the state bar for resolution. Still pending resolution. I did hire a much more professional attorney who also confirmed Mr. Knowles is not the right attorney for me. Seriously check the reviews online you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.

I was fortunately able to hire Cary Lackey after months of being stuck with a public defender who had done no work on my complicated case. The legal system can be terrifying and confusing to navigate and you need an advocate like Mr. Lackey who will listen and treat you with respect and like a human being. Once Mr. Lackey took my case, he got busy immediately doing what should have been filed on my case from the beginning. Jay is the best. I have used a few different law firms in the past and these guys are top notch. A few of my friends have used jay and woody in the past and have had nothing but great things to say about their experiences with them. My friends have referenced jay by the nickname G.O.A.T (greatest of all time) and i get why now. He got 6 of my 7 charges dropped and was there every step along the way. For the quality of work you get he is totally worth it. Personally i think he is underpriced for what he could be charging. If you ever have a run in with Johnny Law you want these guys representing you.

Aaron really helped throughout my DUI case. He walked me through the entire process, was always great about getting back to me with any questions I had, and he was diligent about going over all the evidence to find anything that would help my case. After a careful study of the videos of my arrest, he was able to argue down my extreme DUI to a regular DUI, resulting in lower fines, less time with an interlock, less jail time. Awesome attorney!

Thank you for all your hard work and getting my DUI charge dropped before the trial! Aaron was always available by text or phone whenever I had a question. He was very thorough and detailed with his explanations during the many steps of the legal process. For our pre-trial hearing, Aaron hired a great expert witness and was relentless with the prosecutor, objecting to many of the statements and questions he was posing. We had a plea deal on the table for reckless driving from day 1, and somehow Aaron worked his magic to get the case completely dismissed. Not even the plea deal! Aaron black is sharp and highly efficient. He was very quick to reply to my e-mails, which was really reassuring. At our first meeting, I was impressed by how attentive and patient he was when I told him the injustice inflicted on me. I will always remember the fact that he took extensive notes and the way he did it, in part because my first divorce attorney whom I fired, did nothing comparable. The fact that the charge my soon-to-be ex pressed against me was the result of his chilling false allegations about an violent event he instigated and of his use of my nine year old daughter to conceal his violence and frame me does not make my case easy. Nor does it necessarily mean I was to be treated with justice. However, in retrospect, Aaron Black got me the deal, a pre plea diversion at a lightning speed. The reality is that within a month or so after my first meeting with Aaron in late February and my subsequent hiring of him, he got the above-noted deal. Prior to obtainment of the deal, Aaron succinctly pointed out the inconsistencies in a police report concerning my ex-to-be’s allegations and conveyed his professional opinions about the charge against me. That is to say, the charge against me should be dismissed without any conviction. I have already got the official order of dismissal. I believe it is his rational thinking and professional experience that helped me clear myself of false allegations. If you are looking for a highly capable and understanding attorney who will shield you from injustice, I strongly recommend you to work with Aaron Black!! Life becomes a lot easier and, in my opinion, will always get better with nice people around us!! Take care !

I was arrested for a DUI and had absolutely no idea what to do, who to call, and how to react. I read review after review, ask around for some references, and was completely overwhelmed with the process - I had a few consultations and finally reached out to Aaron on a Saturday fully expecting to leave a message and hear back on Monday. Aaron called me back that day and spent an hour of his weekend talking me through the typical process, potential outcomes, getting familiar with my specific situation, and helping me to set expectations for how long the process would take, what his plan would be, and what my worst case situation would be. Needless to say, I was completely overwhelmed by the whole DUI situation, especially being that I am not a resident of AZ (Chicago, IL right here) and that only complicated my situation even further. Beyond preparing me for court, helping to set me up with counseling, Aaron constantly communicated with me throughout the whole process, fought for me, and was ultimately able to secure a significantly reduced charge / plea versus my original charges (Extreme DUI down to DUI in the Slightest). Aaron was fantastic throughout the entire process, and I cannot recommend him enough. He is persistent, dedicated, incredibly knowledgeable, sincere, and sympathetic. I hope and pray that once was enough, but if I were to ever be so unfortunate to find myself in this situation again, Aaron will be my first and only call.

I was originally referred to Aaron By a friend of mine that was in a Boating DUI and he told me that Aaron was extremely responsive and always answered his text or calls within a timely manner and that he also got his sentence reduced greatly. Im so thankful that I reached out to Aaron and had him as my Attorney during my Marijuana DUI. He explained everything to me very thoroughly and was straight up about how the process and court works with these situations. All in all my sentence was reduced and I did not receive a DUI and my license was never suspended. Not even for a day. No jail. No interlock. There is nothing comfortable about putting down a chunk of money knowing that there is no way to know the outcome of your case. However, the reasonable retainer, is the comfort of knowing that you don't have to deal with the intricacies of the case until court time. Lacey who took over my case, was more than professional and maintained an open line of communication. The Saldivar group came as a referral for a consult at first, and I'm glad I remained as a client with the firm and Lacey as my legal representation. Not sure what your are expecting, but the system is what it is, and lawyers are simply needed sometimes to take the day to day thinking off your mind. I did not feel like I was taken for a retainer ride like I have in the past from other firms. My experience was reasonable. I hope yours is as well. At least pay for the consultation at first to see if it is a good fit. If not, go somewhere else. I can't speak for the other lawyers at the firm but Lacey was top notch.

After looking at other reviews I know I am not the only one that feels like my money was not well spent. I would love a refund. I hired this firm to help me through the process side by side as a team yet never felt that. The lack of communication was frustrating majority of the time I never got solid answers on my questions and concerns. I felt like I was not in the loop. When I finally had enough and scheduled a meeting to talk with someone they were 30 minutes late to the call. Which they thought was not a big deal. Professionally that in itself is not okay. However, perfect example of my entire experience with them. As I voiced my experience I kept getting interrupted and throughout the conversation it felt like I was told my opinion was invalid. Luckily my case was dismissed on its own from lack of evidence which they want to take credit for the result. The end result would have occurred on its own with or without them representing me.
