Gilbert court is suppost to be tuff but the judge Mrs. Laurin was awesome. My 1st offense. I had BAL over 0.08. I took a 16 hour course. I have to pay 1600 in fines, no more classes, no jail time, no probation. Restricted license and most likely interlox soon. I recommend Mr. Sloan for your DUI attorney. I would have Been facing more. Obviously my name is not John Doe; I'm using that for privacy reasons because my case isn't quite yet shut and I'd rather not have my name publicly connected to my case (or at least minimize how public it is). The very worst experience ever. No contact no follow-through no nothing. Victor states he’s an attorney but he’s not. Confirmed with the state bar. They took my $3500 and did absolutely nothing didn’t even notify me that I was going to get charges filed on me.I received a letter from the state with charges and had to call Mr.Knowles Who is too busy to talk to his client. No call back had a call back two days later. Had to contact the state bar for resolution. Still pending resolution. So I had three cases with multiple felonies. I was put on probation (all concurrent but 3 cases of probation). I relapsed and violated in 2018. I was facing three probation revocation hearings, which means jail time. I turned myself in and have been clean since feb 2019. My sister and I got into an argument online around October of last year, and some things happened that led to her reporting me to the police and I ended up getting arrested on 3 misdemeanor charges; Mr. Richard Smith handled my case and he got me down from a $2800 fee and 18 months jail to just some counseling and community service and a $280 fee, only a TENTH of what I initially would have had to pay, and case dismissed with prejudice, assuming everything is successfully met within the next six months (forgive me Mr. Smith if there was more than that you negotiated for me or if it is incorrect; as far as I'm aware, that is what it was). They gave me a payment price that I was able to follow through with when I hired them, and I will be forever grateful for the hard work that was put in and kept me out of jail; I'll be able to get this out of the way quickly and put it behind me and move on with my life. There is nothing comfortable about putting down a chunk of money knowing that there is no way to know the outcome of your case. However, the reasonable retainer, is the comfort of knowing that you don't have to deal with the intricacies of the case until court time. Lacey who took over my case, was more than professional and maintained an open line of communication. The Saldivar group came as a referral for a consult at first, and I'm glad I remained as a client with the firm and Lacey as my legal representation. Not sure what your are expecting, but the system is what it is, and lawyers are simply needed sometimes to take the day to day thinking off your mind. I did not feel like I was taken for a retainer ride like I have in the past from other firms. My experience was reasonable. I hope yours is as well. At least pay for the consultation at first to see if it is a good fit. If not, go somewhere else. I can't speak for the other lawyers at the firm but Lacey was top notch.

After looking at other reviews I know I am not the only one that feels like my money was not well spent. I would love a refund. I hired this firm to help me through the process side by side as a team yet never felt that. The lack of communication was frustrating majority of the time I never got solid answers on my questions and concerns. I felt like I was not in the loop. When I finally had enough and scheduled a meeting to talk with someone they were 30 minutes late to the call. Which they thought was not a big deal. Professionally that in itself is not okay. However, perfect example of my entire experience with them. As I voiced my experience I kept getting interrupted and throughout the conversation it felt like I was told my opinion was invalid. Luckily my case was dismissed on its own from lack of evidence which they want to take credit for the result. The end result would have occurred on its own with or without them representing me.
