Called a number of firms. This was the only one to answer. Chelsey was knowledgeable and they were willing to wait for me to get there. Court was the following day so there was a bit of panic. This was for a restraining order for a false allegation of domestic violence. Met with David Wallin & he had a plan.Have been working with Bart as our assigned Attorney & Chelsey as the best paralegal in my opinion. This was for my Son. I was amazed by the professionalism of the staff at the Law Offices of David M. Wallin. We had a relative out of the country that had trouble entering into the U.S. due to an outstanding bench warrant that was issued some time ago. Kevin, really knows what he's doing when it comes to handling criminal cases. Brenda and himself are so sweet and funny and really care about their clients. This incompetent lawyer couldn't even get a reduction for a old case and then the state law ended up changing to reduce it anyway , was just anxious to collect another attorney fee for nothing . His disrespectful assistant will try to ask for your social security number which no lawyer ever does which is even more concerning. Now have to go to arbitration to get my funds back. All in all do not trust this lawyer for your case in any hopes of a positive outcome. Pathetic.

There are times in our life when we are thrown into challenging hard times. Wondering how do I get through this or even how did I get here! Well Mr. Paul Geller was that guiding light. He provided the answers and hope I was searching for. As we know the judicial system is not always perfect and doesn't always protect the innocent. Being falsely accused of domestic violence and arrested for it was disheartening and scary. I actually got to see first hand how the law can be turned around and work against the innocent. This is an accusation that can destroy a person's life and reputation. I knew I just couldn't trust anyone to hold my future, my life in their hands. Mr. Geller got me through that dark time, allowing me to continue living my life free. That is priceless!

Everyone at one point or another makes a mistake they wish they could take back while enduring the repercussions of their act. When the law is concerned, the fate of ones’ life can seem to be decided as nonchalant as a casual business conversation. In my case, I revealed my violation when I was applying for the police department to prove my honesty and show that I was ready to start making a difference in my community. My interview soon became an interrogation, and not long after I was charged with three felonies. When I came to Tom Medrano with my case, he immediately began to draw up a plan and described everything in detail what he would do. He used simple anagrams that explained how to go about dealing with the situation and gave counsel with the sense of optimism I needed. Most importantly, by the impression I gathered, he could empathize with my predicament whereas the justice system only made me feel like an outcast among society. I followed instruction by seeing the therapist and psychologist he recommended personally. At the final hearing my case was dropped to a single charge, with no jail time, and a short period of probation. I felt like I could finally relax after being so stressed from the matter. I was very pleased with all Tom had been able to work out. Not only did he reduce the typical sentence, he was able to arrange for a second set of terms. Halfway through my probation we would return to court, reduce the felony to a misdemeanor, discard the remaining time of probation, and expunge the charge from my criminal record. Just as he had planned, the court agreed to dismiss my case. I want to thank Tom so much for representing me and all his hard work. I feel confident I can move on with my life without the burden of my past hindering my future.

I could not ask for a better lawyer than this. Before finding this firm I was overly stressed about the possibility of being convicted of a felony. This Firm took over a Fresno case two weeks ago. As promised and as requested, discovery was provided to this Firm within a few days by my assistant, a couple days before the next court date. Investigation done by an investigator and all other pertinent documents were also provided timely. As the case transitioned from mine to theirs, I was promised payment 2 weeks ago. Then last week. Then yesterday. Then today. The Firm never bothered to reach out to inform us of any changes to their deadline. Whenever the deadline passed, my assistant had to reach out for an update. I'm not so concerned with myself - I was more concerned about their payment because it covered investigation done by an incredible investigator in Fresno. When they finally handled it today, the receptionist was extremely rude and condescending and made themselves sound like the victims for not paying. (No time, court, blah blah, but they had time for consults). Every deadline they set for themselves was not honored. He called this investigator, who has achieved acquittals on homicides, a "crackhead" and asked if this firm was "on its last dollar." This receptionist does a great job of playing the victim. Rest assured, the receptionist's conduct will be made aware within this community.

Big help on my case. Had two charges of dui and a gun charge. Had served 3 days of jail time and was released after that. Court day came up and I was supposed to go back in and serve 2 more days but got credit for time served. And at court I only had one charge of dui the other charges were dropped! It was a very stressful and depressing ordeal that I went through, and even though I didn't do any shopping around when I found this law firm, I'm glad I didn't. The team I was assigned from day one, even without collecting my retainer, started working on doing their work for me under one hour of time. The big boss Raul himself even took the time out of his day to call me and didn't even mind talking to me to ensure I could have peace of mind through my situation. These people are quick to the point and you can definitely tell that they think the same way you would in a tough situation... They want to be done with it ASAP so you can move on with your life. David the office manager is very responsive to calls or texts and connects you to whoever you need to help out in the case and Jennifer (although my time was brief with her) was straightforward and shared just the same work ethic as the others I worked with. We hired Acer to represent my husband in restraining order case against one of our tenants. Long story short tenant laid hands on my husband while he was trying to do maintenance on the property. Los Angeles basically favors tenants in almost all cases so we knew we'd have to hire someone that would be able to present this case to a judge in a way that truly represents what we are dealing with it. Acer did just that! He is extremely detailed in all aspects, from gathering all information, putting it together and presenting a visual timeline. At times when the judge was coming down on him, he maintained his cool and explained why we needed to present prior incidents. Ultimately the judge agreed that based on historical incidents we were indeed at risk of being harassed/threatened again and granted my husband the restraining order. As a plus...Acer is super cool! Very easy to talk to and always in a good upbeat mood :)
