I hired John when I had an unjust criminal charge lodged against me that was minor, yet could have major consequences for my career. As I didn't have any personal referrals I intended to speak with several attorneys and then decide who to hire; however after speaking with John for a few minutes, I could tell that he knew what he was doing and hired him right away. John got a very good disposition for my case, but what made the difference for me was that I felt very confident that I had hired someone who was experienced, knew the players involved, and told me what to expect. The experience could have been very anxiety-provoking, but wasn't thanks to John's professionalism and skill. I would absolutely recommend John as someone who is very experienced with both the law and the local 'lay of the land'. Thanks to him, the experience was just a bump in the road instead of the major setback it could have been.

If you are searching for an attorney, look no further. You have found the best and most responsive attorney in the industry. I as you did, I searched through the internet to find the right person to handle my problem. I sent in a request at 6:00 am on Sunday morning on Labor Day weekend. I received a call back at 7:20 am and set up a meeting for 11:15 am that same day. We met arranged a reasonable rate and proceeded with the remedy to our problem. After the court date everything worked out as good as can be expected and because to John's knowledge, work ethic, and expertise we walked away very happy. I have nothing but good things to say about Mr. John Devito, Esq. The very fact that I am taking the time to write on Google on his behalf should say enough. But I want to say more. He represented me in a motor vehicle misdemeanor case that was thrown out and, while it was a small issue, his presence in the court room was both extremely professional as well as FAR superior to the other lawyers that represented clients before my case. Attorney John DeVito is one of the most professional attorneys that I have encountered. I hired him to represent my brother in a "gun possession" charge. My brother got shot by an individual. While my brother was struggling with the assailant, my brother took the gun away from the assailant to defend his own life. When the police showed up at the scene, my brother was arrested and charged with gun possession The police thought my brother shot himself near his waist/upper thigh area because he had the gun in his waist line. The assailant at the time of the police arrival was unconscious from the struggle with my brother due to my brother struggling for his life/self defense. Attorney DeVito proved with video surveillance from a business and apartment building in the area that the assailant came storming out of the apartment building waving a gun and pointing at my brother. The witnesses did not talk because they did not want to "snitch" so I thank God for Attorney DeVito's legal experience and prompt defense. All charges were dropped against my brother and the assailant was arrested.

I came to Lefteris after several other defense attorneys told me that my situation was hopeless. Lefteris worked a miracle on my behalf - no exaggeration. He saved my career, he saved my retirement, he saved my ability to earn a living, and he kept me out of jail. When I came to him with my problems (4 pending felony and 3 pending misdemeanor charges), he didn't sugarcoat anything. At every step along the way, he made sure I understood that my case was a long-shot, and that I shouldn't expect a positive outcome.. but he plead my case and he convinced the magistrate to continue my charges (effectively suspending the charges without any formal judicial record as long as I don't wind up in legal trouble again within the next year). Simply put, Lefteris kept my mistake from completely derailing my life. I can't recommend him highly enough - not just because he's incredibly knowledgeable and he succeeded, but because of how he treated me. Every time I spoke with Lefteris I felt like he understood how important this issue was for me, and that he had my back. When I got nervous before the hearing, he steadied my nerves. After the hearing, he translated what the magistrate said into what the magistrate actually meant. Having him in my corner through this whole process was an enormous relief, and I would recommend him to anyone who needed a truly great criminal defense attorney. (Note: This review is anonymous because there is no legal record of the problems Lefteris helped me through. It could effectively undo the great work that Lefteris did if I attached my real name to this review.).

I previously worked at a major law firm in Boston for several years and currently work with a number of lawyers on a daily basis as a real estate developer. I have lot of experience working with lawyers, and every joke you've ever heard about them is true. However, I view Lefteris as a rare breed of lawyer who possesses the perfect balance between common sense street smarts and book smarts, with particular focus on navigating the law and courtroom experience and demeanor. I've used Lefteris both professionally and personally for various legal representation. Aggressive and qualified he handles every case like it is the only one that he has. He has the experience and knowledge in the court system to navigate through some of the red tape that other attorneys get caught up on. I understand it is difficult to find a good attorney but I've been looking off to find one and I would never use anyone else. From my very first consult with Joe until my case was resolved Joe and Cory were honest with me about all decisions made and potential outcomes. Received a court summons for a serious criminal (non-violent) charge and needed a GREAT lawyer asap. So happy I found Patrick! He guided me through this process with great knowledge of how the system worked on both ends as he's a former prosecutor. Another minor thing popped up during the proceeding and he was able to advise on that as well. Overall despite the serious nature I felt as comfortable as I could because of Patrick's experience and responsiveness. Walking away a free person with a clean record. Can not recommend him enough!

An absolutely first-rate lawyer. Russ and his assistant, Mary Ellen, always took the time to answer all of my questions, no matter how trivial they seem in hindsight. My particular case was dismissed at the Clerk Magistrate's hearing, as if the incident never even happened at all. Preserving a clean record was of the utmost importance, and I could not have asked for a better outcome than what Russ achieved. Contacted Attorney Matson for counsel regarding an unfortunate and anxiety-inducing situation. I also sought counsel from other attorneys in the Boston area at the same time. Attorney Matson was by far the most calm and measured. Unlike other attorneys, Attorney Matson did not immediately suggest that I retain his services and instead provided me with advice on how to proceed in the moment. He assured me that I could retain his services in case the situation worsened. Following his advice, things worked out for me. Attorney Matson could have recommended retaining him instantly, but unlike others, he did not. This saved me a lot of money and it shows Attorney Matson's integrity and honesty. Very professional and responsive; I highly recommend Attorney Matson to others in a similar situation.

Hired this attorney 9/12/2016. My case is scheduled for 12/18/2017. I got rid of this attorney and then he itemized his charges and put $462 for travel expenses from Milford. I hired this guy out of Hingham, Ma. Not Milford! He did not help me and I am still w/o a license after almost one year after hiring him.

Attorney Milligan is ONE OF THE BEST IN NEW ENGLAND. I had a hard time finding a honest Lawyer Jay is one. I had a tuff case that was almost unbelievable he listened to my situation told me what he could do for me and did everything he said he was going to do. I feel as though jay is one of the few people at the courthouse that has true justice on their mind. To have a attorney like Jay is a blessing .. I was dealing with Corruption & Lies at the Plymouth county courthouses due to some local police officers false police reports. Jay took care of it professionally and with class. Jay Milligan did the most amazing outstanding job on my case and the outcome was nothing short than a miracle. It was charge for fourth and a very complicated case.. Not Guilty!
