Worst place to spend money at. I came to James for a criminal case, first off the guy who took my payment was sweet enough to tip himself 100 from my money. James was unresponsive, and unactive during the case. Later he lied to my dad (whos main language is Spanish) got him to plead guilty unknowingly. I did let him know my dad needed a Spanish speaking rep through it all. James was also super kind to work with the DEA, giving my dad the most time possible, and tried to also form a case against me. ICE paid a visit to my house looking for me thanks to this man. Thankfully my dad got a state appointed attorney within 4 months of hiring James and was able to do soo much for him. Unfortunately, I lost almost 10k of my hard earned money. What took me 3 years to save, took this guy less than a month to earn.

Amanda, thank you... From the beginning to the end was an experience I will never forget. The first day, once I walked in. I notice one of the other lawyers going over trial strategy. And this wasn't just normal back and forth. They were playing their own devils advocate and questioning their own strategy and leaving no room for error. I was astonished. Then I meet Amanda for the first time. And her words toward the end of our first meeting were " I love trial, and if it goes to it, we will be ready " The entire experience is stressful when dealing with the slow wheels of the law and its court system. Without going into too much detail about what I was being accused of, my case was a life changing one. I was being accused of one of the worst things human being can be accused of. I did a ton of research on top attorneys in San Antonio and what they’re success rates were. I interviewed about 6 attorneys and Don was the last one that I interviewed. One of the first things that I noticed about Don was his passion and energy for what he does. I have not had any experience with lawyers personally, but have heard horror stories from those close to me. David is the opposite of what I expected. Talking to him on the phone is like talking to an old friend. His whole team is there whenever you have a question. Bern even got back to me on a Sunday and let me know I can contact him at any time. Mr Knight is an amazing attorney. When I thought hope was lost with another attorney I found Mr Knight online we spoke on the phone and then met in person right away. He took my cases over when another attorney told me I was facing prison time after consulting with him I knew he was the right attorney. His prices are fair and he is well respected in the courts. He went to work right away with my cases kept me informed and got me into a better deal than the previous attorney. He got me a deal of 5 years deferred with no fine. Amazing how much he accomplished in the short time he was hired. He worked a lot harder than the previous attorney. Jeff is an honest, straightforward and direct attorney with solid contacts and credentials. He will tell you the truth, even if you do not like what he has to say. He was no question the worst attorneys I’ve ever come in contact with. He did nothing for my boyfriends case. He never once believed him when he said he was innocent. He demanded and was Paid an insane amount of money. He allowed the court to put out a failure to appear warrant on my Boyfriend bc he never showed up for a court date he scheduled three weeks prior. He wasn’t even the one to catch the error. My boyfriend fired him after a year of zero work done by him and hired a new attorney. when that new attorney went to work on his case it was dropped by the DA within three weeks. I found out later he never even talked to the DA. My boyfriend has demanded a refund to which he should adhere bc he’s seriously looking into a malpractice lawsuit. I have proof you were his lawyer And he’s already sent you a certified letter asking for the refund, and you weren’t in the office to receive it and a notice was left for you to pick up and you never did. Surprise surprise. We will be redelivering it.

I was Mr.Barrett's first juvenile client and even when he was through with my case he would come by my grandmother's house to make sure that we were ok. Peter represented my brother for 3 aggravated assault w/deadly weapon cases in Dallas County. Peter always reassured us to call any time we needed something. “Any day at any time, if you need me, call me.” His knowledge of the court system, personnel, and the law reassured us that we had chosen the best attorney. He was able to immediately get the district attorney to offer a 10 year probation sentence even though my brother had a previous criminal record. In the end, my brother chose to do a shorter sentence in TDC and Peter made it happen! 2 years flat, no parole or probation after on 3 cases that initially carried a minimum 5 year sentence for each case! What’s even better is that the process didn’t take long at all. Thank you, Peter!

Walker Fults is the BEST AROUND. We hired Mr. Fults and he was ready for court within a week. My brother was looking at 7 yrs. Not only did he get that thrown out, he got his 2 felonies toss as well.
