Ryan is an excellent Family Law attorney. He is pragmatic, responsive, and keeps you calm and rational during one of the toughest times of your life. I interviewed three lawyers for my divorce and Ryan was the only one that asked a lot of questions and gave some great advice. He wasn't just looking for a $5000 retainer like the other two lawyers. We had a very desirable outcome in my divorce and Ryan was so much better prepared than the other lawyer (from one of those overly priced ones that feed on your fears). I ended up having to use Ryan again a few years later for a custody case and had a very positive experience once again. I have been using this law firm for years. I obtained their services for a gaurdianship case concerning my nephew and for a separate case involving child support. The entire staff is highly professional, considerate and knowledgeable in the law. Ryan is the star of the show. If you are looking for an attorney to fight for justice he is your guy. Gus and all of the attorneys at this Firm are excellent. I have been a client since around 2012 and throughout these years, Gus has represented me in several family law matters (Modification of Custody/Support, Minor Child Name Change, Injunction and Establishing Paternity/Support). He’s professional, respectful, honest and experienced. I recommend this Firm to everyone that I know. This guy Jason Rios who left that negative comment, is definitely confused and has the wrong firm. Guichard has been nothing but the best in my book when it comes to attorney’s. Prior to hiring him I was working with another attorney for my child custody issue. Who did a tremendous job. Unfortunately, I found myself going back to court for a similar situation with child custody but with another child. The lawyer I had couldn’t take my case and told me he really wanted to help me but he couldn’t because he was tied up on my court date with another client and I couldn’t reschedule trial and needed a lawyer quick. He said “I know just the lawyer for you and will fight for you”. All I can say is that Guichard has been great and has gotten me joint custody of my boy when the odds were against me. He focused on what was right and the judge saw it even stop trail for second and applaud him and said “he appreciated his professionalism in court room during trail”, I’ll never forget it. If you want a great lawyer, a shark, someone who is going to be persistent in trail. He is the guy. And what makes it even better he is a God fearing man. Don’t think twice on hiring him. Take the leap of faith and he will fight for you.

If I could give them negative stars I would. Was continually ignored in requests, given biased excuses as to why plans wouldn’t work, and offered an insulting parenting plan in my case for my daughter simply because I was on a payment plan and did not pay them the few thousand dollars they believed they earned. They allowed the opposing counsel to continually waste time without reprecussion and have given no solutions in months simply to make a quick buck fast. They are more concerned with getting paid and having their way than fighting for your or your child’s rights. Stay away, far away. They will not help you unless you pay them the top dollar they believe they deserve.

I hired Mr Thompson to represent me in a custody case several years ago. I never felt as if a plan was established or that he considered my goals his own. I spent over 15 thousand dollars and accomplished little. I hired a different counsel and within a month my entire case was completely resolved and we didnt even use the entire retainer fee.

The process of divorce can feel overwhelming, dark, and hopeless, at least that's my experience. After years of hard work creating and later selling my business, I was facing significant financial devastation. That, however, paled in comparison to the trauma to my children and the loss of my family unit. The family court system and the process are cold, it operates without empathy and it’s filled with opportunistic players at every step. Leslie Loftus and her team are the exceptions. They care. Roughly a year and a half ago my life was turned upside down. I was nervous, scared, and had no idea how to begin going about a divorce. I asked an employer one day if they had heard of any good family law attorneys and by a stroke of luck, she provided me with the number to Loftus Law. Leslie promptly fit me in for a consultation, and away we went. I was never made to feel as if my case was any less important than any others, and I have always received timely feedback with any questions/concerns I have. After roughly 18 grueling months we finally went to mediation this past week and I can not express how impressed I was. Leslie fought tooth and nail for me and earned me a very fair settlement, one that I thought I was all but doomed to get the raw end of.
