Charles Willmott is definitely an attorney I recommend if you are seeking a family law or divorce attorney in Jacksonville. He is extremely professional even when certain parties are in emotional duress based on the circumstances. He has a process. He does not run up your bill on unnecessary paperwork and throughout the entire divorce process I felt as if he was working toward and making recommendations that supported my desired end result. Charles is extremely 'real' with his clients. I felt informed on possible outcomes regardless if it was what I wanted to hear. One recommendation I have is that if you feel you need check-ins or sanity updates on your case, then don't be afraid to ask for those because if nothing is going on, it's not like he's going to reach out and ask if you are doing 'okay.' That's not his job. However, if you want to vent, his assistant is awesome for a quick sanity rant. I won't be getting married ever again but if I did, I would have no problem hiring Charles for a second divorce.

Divorce is a highly emotional trauma to go through. I was so disappointed with the first firm I used (Adsum,they should be avoided ). I looked at reviews online and I contacted Mr. Wilmott`s office and from the first contact I was totally at ease and felt like I was being listened to and more importantly, understood. After switching over, it became even more apparrent how poorly I had been represented before, as I was very quickly involved in the process and I was kept fully informed and helped with every step of the way. The thing I found most helpful was how to fill out the forms and what the lawyers would fill out on my behalf. As I would guess, most people would go through this just once so we have zero experience with this process. I was left to my own devices by the first firm, but with Charles and Jackie I felt from minute one that I was in very safe hands and this proved to bethe case. My case was settled at mediation, but had it gone to the court I always felt that I would be safe and my interests looked after. It was interesting when Charles and I appeared before the Judge for the final hearing, She made a point of thanking him for being so prepared. That spoke volumes as far as I was concerned. Go nowhere else if you need a professional to look after you. I would totally recommend Charles and Jackie Wilmott. I feel that it is important to recognize that it is a team effort and apart from being excellent at their jobs, they are truly nice people. I actually enjoyed the interaction. It seems like an odd thing to say about a divorce, but it certainly made my experienc of divorce a far less painful process than it could have been. Thank you.

Gerald Wilkerson is an amazing attorney he is always thinking of good ways to help you navigate extremely tough issues when dealing with family issues. I have used him in the past and seen great results he really listened to what I said and also engages to find the best solution when we were going through a custody case. He also has the tenacity to fight to the end which in some cases when custody is involved its necessary. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a good family law attorney. Jim was an excellent divorce attorney. From the beginning to the end of my case I was always thoroughly informed of what was to be expected which I really appreciated. Every time I met with Jim I always left feeling confident that all my concerns and questions had been addressed. I wanted my divorce to be quick and painless and Jim granted all of that for me with his exceptional experience and wealth of knowledge regarding my divorce case. If I ever needed to speak with Jim or concerned about issues regarding my spouse Jim would always call me back within minutes if he was able to get to the phone. I feel that this really should be mentioned because I always felt like my case was a priority to him and that really made me feel secure. I was unusually busy working as a nurse throughout the COVID19 pandemic during this time and Jim was very accommodating to my timeline and helped me stay on track to make this divorce happen as soon as possible. My initial consultation with him, right down to the finality of my divorce, truly shows how committed Jay is to his clients. He was there for me, my daughter, and my family every step of the way. Most people don't think how many individuals are effected by divorce outside of the husband and wife. Jenna represented me in my divorce case. Although I spoke with other attorneys, I was referred to her from a friend of a client and I knew she was the right attorney for me. Everyone at this firm was so kind and helpful in initiating my case. That was a very stressful time for me and I had no clue what to do or even what options I had. But these ladies helped me sort everything out and explained it all in terms that made sense. The only problem I had was by the time it got to the court hearing I had ran out of funds and could no longer afford to be represented. I had to go in there representing myself while he had an attorney and the judge ended up not ruling in my favor. Things are better now and the firm continues to call me just to check in and see how I am doing. That means a lot.

Beth Luna really did a fantastic job with my divorce. It was unfortunately an extremely messy one with restraining orders, difficulty having the second party sign papers and worse a child was involved. Beth was able to help with absolutely everything, she is a skilled attorney and an attorney with real feelings. It is still unusual for a father to gain full custody of his daughter, but she was able to do this through her knowledge of law and experience. I hope to never need her services for something like this again, but if I did Beth Luna is the only one I would call. If you need the best, you should contact her. I am very grateful for everything she has done.

When I first spoke to David I was in the middle of 2 paternity case that a previous attorney could not maintain. I mentioned to David the specifics of both cases and the amount of debt I had already accumulated fighting 2 paternity cases. David assured me I would get an amazing outcome in the end with the best rate possible. David then introduced me to Boris and his team who took over both paternity cases and handled them flawlessly. At one point, I thought I was going to have to settle with a small fraction of rights to my kids and a fortune of debt.I now can say I have majority time-sharing with my son and have equal rights with my daughter without a huge bill in the end. Boris is still maintaining small logistics with both cases but I can truly say I finally get to enjoy my children.

Great lawyers. My custody and child support case was handled perfectly and the outcome was in my favor. Worth every penny.
