I could have represented myself for free, do not hire unless you want, phone calls to not be returned, not be heard, not have your emails returned, sloppiness of paperwork, oh and if you do get an appointment phone call with him finally after leaving so many messages for him to get back to you with his reception you will get a phone call super late from your appointment time scheduled. They do not take things seriously. They are in the business of taking your money I do not recommend to anyone. Also I have not lost my child so this isn’t one of those reviews where I post because I lost my case and I’m mad about it. This is what I’m currently dealing with

I called the Maney Family Law office and I spoke to Hannah, they were about to get me in the same day for a meeting. I explained to Paul and Hannah what was going on and they listened and took in everything I was saying. Paul, Hannah and Kyrsten were great, all three listened and made me feel heard. I am so grateful, when I called they answered every question I had and talked me through the whole process. Being in a different state was hard to get together for face to faces but they handled everything with the utmost professionalism. When it came to mediation I didn't have anything to worry about, they walked in and got the job done. To be completely honest, the worse experience I have ever had. I only spoke to Paul ONCE! Every time I would call, Krysten and Hannah would say “he will give you a call before the end of the day”, they made promises all the time. I never received a call. Never received an update. The fact that I had to be the one to contact them to receive updates was ridiculous. The communication was terrible. The second time I spoke to Paul was when I decided to terminate / withdraw. Krysten mentioned that it was a “waiting game”. Who wants to hear this after making a payment over a month ago and still not receiving a call with an update when you literally have mediation in 3 weeks. Never requested paperwork, was never asked what my concerns were, what my expectations were for my case. Imean it was the worse experience ever. The only thing that I would give him five stars for, would be the fact that I received a full refund of what I paid, UP FRONT. After he received payment, I reached out a total of 8 times and from those 8 times the only call I received in return was the one to confirm my withdrawal. Keep in mind I sent plenty of emails to everyone in the practice. I was also told I would receive an email with paperwork that needed to be filed out, krysten never sent it over. I hired Paul to take stress away from me, technically that’s what they are being paid for, instead they made it worse and difficult for me being that I had to last minute shop for another lawyer whose communication is 100000000x better than the experience I had with Paul’s team. I do not recommend. Unless you are someone who doesn’t care to hear back from someone that you paid a certain amount STARTING. If you want to have last minute offers, then go for it. Advise that I would recommend would be to communicate or acknowledge the customer. I understand Paul is extremely busy, however his assistants need to be more engaged with the customers needs.

I was introduced to Paul by a friend after posting on social media that I was looking for a reputable divorce attorney in Tampa. I have met with many attorneys by that time and just couldn't connect with them on a gut level until a met Paul. He was very knowledgeable not only about divorce but other Family law related issues. He even presented the collaborative divorce option which none of the other attorneys did. If you're getting divorced, interview at least 3 attorneys and go with your gut.

Nicole Gehringer, from Harris, Hunt & Derr, P.A , was the primary lawyer who handled my divorce from my wife and was a pleasure to work with. She made everything very easy for me to understand and was always willing to explain anything I was unsure about. She also did regular check-ins and was always very prompt with her work. She made the whole process very smooth despite it being an incredibly difficult situation. In the end, I was very happy with the marital settlement agreement that she produced and the final settlement we were able to agree upon. They indicated that they have a network of respected financial specialists, such as forensic accountants, to assist in complex high net worth divorce cases. I selected Joe Hunt and his team to represent me. In my very first meeting with Joe and his team he immediately recognized that a highly respected forensic accountant would greatly strengthen my position. We collaboratively engaged this accountant and my case was expertly dissected whereupon a strong legal and financial strategy was developed. The case was subsequently resolved in mediation with a fair settlement for both parties. Joe’s experience and wisdom in how my case could be fairly resolved was critical to achieving the desired outcome without needing to go to court.

I reached out to an attorney friend in South Carolina when seeking a divorce attorney in the Tampa area. He took some time, did his research and recommended Traci Koster. She exceeded the outstanding reputation she has earned that led my friend to recommend her as his top choice from 8 hours away. From our first meeting via Zoom until the day my divorce was official, Traci was everything I could have asked for, guiding me through the process of ending a 31-year marriage which was irrevocably broken. Traci had the great ability to "talk me off the ledge" and help me stay focused on the big picture instead of getting lost in the minutiae. She was the ultimate professional, with tremendous people skills, which made it easy for me to talk through every aspect of the divorce. In the end, I was extremely happy with the settlement Traci negotiated. I have heard horror stories from friends who have gone through a divorce and have spent a fortune without getting the kind of results I got by working with Traci. Absolutely worst law firm. I would never recommend them neither Tracy Koster not Seth Nelson. They took my whole retainer and did no work for me at all all while putting me at risk of loosing my child. Assured me that everything would be fine but never even read the filed court orders. Finding the right attorney can be a challenge, especially for a strong personality client (i.e. me). It was very important that I found someone not only extremely capable of dealing with my case but also dealing with me. David was brutally honest but very kind and very patient, taking every opportunity to explain, teach, and inquire. He took a measured approach, incorporated our wishes and suggestions, and gradually turned the tide on opposing counsel. I would say that he overcame a bully using superior knowledge of the law and a great brain! After many phone calls, hundreds of emails, and draft after draft of amended agreements, we are able to go on with our lives in a much better financial and emotional place. I very much recommend Mr. Anton as a family law attorney. Mr. Anton handled my difficult divorce case which unfortunately included a full contested final hearing or trial. When first retained, he explained that most divorce actions are resolved by the signing of a marital settlement agreement as opposed to having a contested trial. I told him that he didn’t know my spouse. I was falsely accused of all sorts of financial misdeeds. Furthermore, my wife took several unlikely positions which, despite 2 mediations, she would not negotiate. Mr. Anton both developed my case and conducted my eventual trial with great expertise. It was all done very logically and organized. He was also able to clearly communicate what was needed for the Judge to make his decision. Mr. Anton was also very good at keeping me informed of what was occurring in my case as it was occurring. He and his very experienced paralegal were always available throughout my case. Going through a divorce was scary and stressful and it helps to know what is taking place while it is happening. Again, I do recommend that if you have the need for a quality divorce counsel that you consider Mr. Anton’s services.

My divorce is currently still in process but I cannot say enough about Kathryn Lynch’s services. She sets clear expectations, always responsive and tells you her honest opinion. Tia was invaluable in helping us through a difficult time. After we were in a car accident and suffered some injuries, we didn’t know how to proceed with getting the medical bills paid. We were dealing with body aches, doctors, medical bills, and the overwhelming emotions all at the same time. Tia was wonderful! She was so responsive, and we really felt that she had our best interests at heart. During meditation she battled on our behalf with the judge and insurance company and in the end she got us more money then we would have if we didn’t hire her. Steve is an amazing attorney. We hired him for my daughter in the Tampa area. He got the injunctions and divorce processed quickly and was there for every step of the dependency. I just would like to share my experience that I had working with another firm before someone recommended Jeanne T. Tate, P.A. And then share my experience working with Jeanne T. Tate, P.A. We needed legal assistance with regards to an adoption. After spending over $2K and almost 8 months of very little focused attention with another "Family" Law Firm in Tampa and also dealing with an attorney who did not know how to handle an adoption process, we replaced the firm and hired Erica Healey at Jeanne T. Tate, P. A. This was the best decision we made as a family. Within a matter of a few weeks Counselor Healey had everything completed and had our final hearing scheduled in Florida. Mind you this case was a multi-state adoption. She knew exactly what needed to be done, how to get it done and the feedback and communication was better than the five stars I could give. Likewise, I wish I could give this firm more stars and recommendations. So please do not make this mistake our family made and go with any other firm than this one. It will cause you to waste money and valuable precious time that cannot be recovered. With Jeanne T. Tate, P.A, Its not about extending and dragging out your case to attain more billable hours like many of the others. They want to make their clients happy and quickly resolve family matters. Great experience, great firm and great Attorneys!

I was referred to the law firm in early November. The attorney we spoke to seemed genuine in wanting to help me with adopting my step-daughter. She was also honest about the risks and success rate, but we felt confident in their abilities to help us. The next day, my wife and I were signing official documents to hire Erica Healey to represent me in what we knew was going to be a rocky process. The communication between her paralegal was amazing. She was prompt and always answered our questions thoroughly and honestly. She would respond to our emails at nearly any time, day or night. We ran into a speed bump in our case, and Kim Lewis helped keep my mind calm, and guided me to make rational and smart decisions when it came to moving forward. Pricing was always communicated to us throughout the whole process, so we never felt surprised by new fees. Jeanne and Erica also guided us on applying for and receiving the Gift of Adoption grant to help pay the remaining balance of our fees. My legal team worked with me every step of the way, and finalized my step-parent adoption in a shorter amount of time than originally expected. Our adoption was finalized in late February, and during our zoom meeting, I could see the look of genuine happiness that Erica had in her eyes for my family. Hello, I was adopted in 2002 my mother was tricked by Jeannie Tate. She was 18 and Jeannie Tate failed to share information with her and didn't properly explain adopted therefore I was put into the adoption agency's hands and my mother had to give me up completely and lose me for 16 years. She has done this to plenty of other parents where they have lost their children and the child has been sold off. She will not stop. She tricks parents and last minute after they sign their rights away she tells them the important information that could change their minds but only after it is to late and this is not fair to the parents nor the child. She does not need to be doing any more adoptions I am walking proof of what Jeannie Tate has done. And after all these years I will speak up what she did was not right and to all those other kids who had that chance to stay with their biological parents who were tricked just is not right! She will continue to sell off young children who are voiceless and have no sense of option if no one speaks out.

About 3 months late with this review but after being swindled out of 2,500$ and almost a year of my time I feel as though it’s necessary to warn others. My experience with this law group spans about 8-9 months in which the only work produced was a a single exchange of paper work between myself and the personnel assigned to my case. After 3 months after emailing the paper worked needed pertaining to my case I received no update as to the status of my case or if anything was in the works. Due to the Corona virus impacting business I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. Around the 8 month mark I called only to be told the paperwork I had returned was filed with the court 2 months after being sent without anything being done. I did the only rational thing anyone could try to do after waiting 9 months and asked for a refund due to the horrible neglect of my case, the response was a slap in the face, “we don’t offer refunds as stated in the agreement however we can forward you to our financial department”, to no surprise I never even got contacted by the financial department. I’m not a wealthy man just an ordinary guy who reached out to this company In hopes of being able to be granted some form of parental rights over my daughter so I could see her and let her know she still has a father. Almost a year of time/$2500 wasted in waiting for this law firm to do something. Please go with someone else, I did my research however that wasn’t enough.
