Attorney Matt Kowtko is a life savor I ended up in a nightmare after a 25 year marriage ended. My first lawyer was driving me into the ground and I needed a new one. The process of divorce can feel overwhelming, dark, and hopeless, at least that's my experience. After years of hard work creating and later selling my business, I was facing significant financial devastation. That, however, paled in comparison to the trauma to my children and the loss of my family unit. The family court system and the process are cold, it operates without empathy and it’s filled with opportunistic players at every step. Leslie Loftus and her team are the exceptions. They care. Roughly a year and a half ago my life was turned upside down. I was nervous, scared, and had no idea how to begin going about a divorce. I asked an employer one day if they had heard of any good family law attorneys and by a stroke of luck, she provided me with the number to Loftus Law. Leslie promptly fit me in for a consultation, and away we went. I was never made to feel as if my case was any less important than any others, and I have always received timely feedback with any questions/concerns I have. After roughly 18 grueling months we finally went to mediation this past week and I can not express how impressed I was. Leslie fought tooth and nail for me and earned me a very fair settlement, one that I thought I was all but doomed to get the raw end of. I inquired about a very complicated situation with my son and his mother. This firm set up a consultation with me immediately even with a packed schedule. I am extremely satisfied with the service and conversation we had. We spoke for over an hour and I was given all kinds of FREE advice about my particular situation. I had some technical issues and was concerned about not being able to talk. It was met with absolutely no judgement, a warm acceptance, and with alternative means to consult. Overall I am happy with Brandi and the whole team because I feel welcome and a part of a team who really cares and wants to help.
