Chris Melendez is basically a sloth. This guy is a straight clown show. Couldn’t get his life together, understand the details, or do the work required to get my attorney the required documents in a timely manner. Waited 7 months for a financial affidavit, waited 2 weeks for a signature on a final agreement, and literally almost ran directly into trial because it took this guy two years to get his life in order. This is the epitome of taking your time and maximizing income for the firm over clients needs. Literally impossible to work with, and a waste of time. IF THIS GUY PASSED THE BAR EXAM, ANYONE CAN. GO TO LAW SCHOOL EVERYBODY!

Ok. Soooo I stumbled upon this law firm by googling "Best Law Firms" and Oh, am I glad I did! Mr. Baker was very thorough, patient and super professional. He was able to answer ANY and all questions that I threw at him. I started the process of an annulment on the 13th of April and it was finalized on the 26th of May! ???????????????????????????? You're talking about Happy? That was me that day! I was expecting delays (because of the situation) but God did it and The Virga Law Firm put it to play! I HIGHLY recommended this firm ????%!!!

Attorney Joseph Baker gave me some very insightful advice and recommendations. I really liked his professionalism and his ability to be understanding and courteous to my issues at hand. He gives free consultations, which to me is utterly important and was willing to see me face to face. Even during these trying times, Joseph wants to meet his clients in person. Kudos for that! His retention price is very reasonable and affordable compared to many other attorneys out there. Joseph also has high reviews on AVVO and in google reviews. He introduced himself at the start and is extremely polite. He was not condescending at all, nor did he try to throw out there any titles of where he went to law school. He was very humble and let me talk and plea my case. I highly recommend this attorney.

Mr. Troum and the entire staff at Troum Law Firm have been absolutely amazing. I have been consistently working with Mr. Troum for the last 8 years. He helped me get through a very nasty and drawn out divorce proceeding, a custody arrangement for relocation to another state, then followed by 6 years of contempt and other litigations for violations of orders, non payment of amounts due, and other criminal proceedings that were needed in this case. Although it has been an extremely long process, at no point did I ever feel that Mr. Troum and his team ever missed an opportunity or honestly could have done better. They worked long and hard, were always available to help me understand all of the options available, and Mr. Troum was always aggressive as I needed him to be to ultimately get what was rightfully owed. In the end, the final result for me was better than I ever could have imagined. I would a million times over recommend The Troum Law Firm to anyone who is in the position of needing an attorney. There is absolutely no way I would have made it through these past 8+ years without them.

Although my case ultimately was dismissed and moved to Georgia I can not say enough nice things about Mr. Troum and his staff, especially Julie, the firm manager. From the very beginning he and his staff were very transparent and their communication and advocacy for me, their client was phenomenal. Only now that I have had to seek further representation by another office in another state have I been able to compare their practice to another. Although I feel as though my interest will be cared for appropriately by my new representation I can confidently say that I wish i was still represented by the Troum Law Firm. I hired them to take care of my divorce. They would not let me come into their building because of Covid-19. Other professionals will as long as you where a mask. Roy would only talk to me through emails and phone. The phone did not work you could not have a conference call that you could hear, so phone calls were worthless even though you were being billed for each one at a high price. How could I get anything done? Roy seemed to be protecting himself in his emails. when I talked to him he did not explain the legal jargon, he seemed to talk around things taking care to cover himself in what he said. I would have to go to other friends who were in law and ask them what he was talking about. I asked him specifically "What should I ask for this in the divorce?" Still he would give me a general answer with not much to say. I Don't feel like I got any good counsel from him. He would talk over me and I would talk over him trying to make our point to each other which they where not that big of deal to begin with. When the retainer ran out he fired me as a client and I was very thankful that he did. The retainer mostly went to worthless emails and unclear phone calls. Very, very unprofessional. I wanted out anyway, I don't know if it was because I was a woman but I felt he would push me around. Maybe he does better with men, it was not a good experience.at any rate.

I tried scheduling a consultation with them, but I could not hear them very well and when I said I could barely hear them too well, the receptionist hung up on me rudely. I do not wish this service on anyone. Good luck on whoever calls them. Best decision I ever made was hiring Mr. Smith to represent me in my custody case. He is the third attorney I have retained for this matter and I can't say enough good things about him. Mr. Smith has accomplished more in my case in 60 days then my previous counsel did in a year. He communicates impressively timely, is extremely knowledgeable, and most importantly fights for his clients. In addition, he is very honest and realistic about the matter at hand. Very unprofessional. They will file countless but not necessary papers with the court, and make you think they're doing lots of work for you. Even the judge told them not to make things more complicated. Of course, you know they charge you for every filing. The paralegals constantly get dates wrong and opposing lawyer's names crossed.

Attorney Roberts is respectful, professional, and kind! I had the opportunity to virtually meet him over zoom, and it was a wonderful experience.
