Like a lot of people during the pandemic, I used the time to get my legal affairs in order. Laurie and team were very patient with me, and I got a great education in all the intricacies of family law. When all was said and done, they set me up with all the documents I had been putting off for years - trust, will, power of attorney and several more. They were set up for Zoom meetings, rookie questions and socially-distanced paperwork signing. I wouldn't say it was easy, but Laurie made it as painless as possible, and it was well worth the effort. What a relief to have it all done!

Our daughter was in need of skilled legal representation in a custody battle that had raged on for 5 years. She had consistently had lawyers that never provided any evidence about the lack of cooperation, harassment & belittling abuse she had continued to endure. Although Laurie felt strongly at first glance that the case was not winnable, she forged ahead. She did thorough research on the cultural bias that had coloured the previous decisions. She did exceptional work in exposing our Grandson’s birth father for who he really is. She truly saw our daughter for the good single Mom she is. And flipped the narrative for the new Judge to weigh. The clear decision to deny the relocation petition to many states away has left our family intact and elated. This important victory assured a brighter healthier future for our Grandson. We will always hold Laurie in the highest esteem for strongly bringing the truth to the trial & making sure in our case that Justice finally prevailed.

If I could rate her more than 5 stars I would give her 10! I came to Audrey to handle my divorce about 10 years ago. From the moment I arrived she made me feel comfortable and calm and assured me everything would go smoothly and that she would do everything she could to make sure me and my children would be protected and she did just that. Both she and her staff were excellent, extremely knowledgeable, courteous and friendly they made what I thought was going to be a long and worrisome event into a simple and straightforward situation that went off without any issue. I recently needed assistance in getting an order from the court for permission to get passports for my children. After 10 years I walked into Audrey’s office and it seemed like it was only yesterday I had been there, she remembered me and my case and was so amazingly kind as to help me right then and there with everything I needed, I was once again expecting a long drawn out affair and she assured me this would be quick and painless and it most certainly was! The kindness and generosity that Audrey and her staff have shown me, I would never go anywhere else. I have highly recommended her to anyone who asks me if I know a good lawyer for family law. It's taken me so long to write a review for Audrey because I can hardly find the words to thank her. How do you thank someone who has protected your family and given us the resolution we needed to create a great life again? Audrey is so genuinely humble that she probably won't take the credit, but we think of her with heartfelt gratitude every day. She put things right again. Audrey Jefferis is an advocate for you. She is direct and honest and will tell you the limitations of the legal system and the limitations of your case - she won't give you false promises - but what she will do is absolutely everything that is within her power to help you. She is highly respected by the courts and other legal representatives, and this in itself is a tremendous advantage in court. She didn't judge us, even when we were high strung and desperate with anxiety and even when we were embarrassed by some of the details of the family situation. She is caring and kind, honest and accessible. She seems tireless. Her office is well organized and communicative. I filed for divorce in August 2019! Today is January 2020 I am still not even close to being divorced! On top, the office never answers the phone when you try to call and get an update why a simple dissolution of marriage takes half a year and still counting.

About 3 months late with this review but after being swindled out of 2,500$ and almost a year of my time I feel as though it’s necessary to warn others. My experience with this law group spans about 8-9 months in which the only work produced was a a single exchange of paper work between myself and the personnel assigned to my case. After 3 months after emailing the paper worked needed pertaining to my case I received no update as to the status of my case or if anything was in the works. Due to the Corona virus impacting business I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. Around the 8 month mark I called only to be told the paperwork I had returned was filed with the court 2 months after being sent without anything being done. I did the only rational thing anyone could try to do after waiting 9 months and asked for a refund due to the horrible neglect of my case, the response was a slap in the face, “we don’t offer refunds as stated in the agreement however we can forward you to our financial department”, to no surprise I never even got contacted by the financial department. I’m not a wealthy man just an ordinary guy who reached out to this company In hopes of being able to be granted some form of parental rights over my daughter so I could see her and let her know she still has a father. Almost a year of time/$2500 wasted in waiting for this law firm to do something. Please go with someone else, I did my research however that wasn’t enough.

Hire this attorney for your family law case! I am an attorney, and believe me when I say, I understand the difference between the good/medium/bad representation. I didn't want a divorce, but that fight would have been a waste of money--paid to her-so she gave me great legal advice to accept the situation (another lawyer could have just billed me for accomplishing nothing). Ms. Diaz knows her stuff : ) Things are very specialized with law now, and you need a firm that only handles family law. Understand, she does not "soft touch" things, but she gets it done--and that's what is needed in this arena. Good luck.

This attorney is trash. Once realized that I would not be hiring her, the remainder of the consult was air space. No consult, she even promised a refferal for an out of state attorney and an yet to get such result. In simplest term, she charged for a full hour to tell me within 5 minutes she could not represent me and the remainder of the time was belittling and accords of linkage of network. I could tell by her demeanor on the telephone she was not professional. I requested video conferencing and was denied. This person just wants money. Beware!!!!!!!

I have been working with Jennifer Todd and her Paralegal Julie for well over a year now in a very drawn out custody battle with my ex husband. Although the case is still open, I can say with confidence, that both Jennifer and Julie have done a spectacular job. They are professional, courteous, and ensure to provide an unbiased view of the law to their clients. They will ensure to educate on the process as you go as well as set realistic expectations, unlike some attorneys who feed their clients lines of fluff. Jennifer has also been great at keeping costs as low as possible and the office has been great at working out payment arrangements. This lawfirm is by far the best. Brian Monk has a way of going into court and knowing his case laws on the back of his hand.My wife made a believer out of me.I don't like court the "justice system " but when my current wife hired this law firm for me I was astonished at what they did. Brian/Nick and Ryan all are upfront and will not sugar coat anything. Brian Monk has worked well into nights on my wife's cases just to make sure nothing goes wrong. Excellent attorney! I came to Mr. Monk on a recommendation from another client. I was currently in a rough divorce and my prior attorneys were milking me for money! I was held in contempt for not turning in paperwork that had been turned in months prior. It was a mess! I started working with Mr. Monk and he assured me that everything would be ok! I also love working with Nick Cacciatore! I was his first case as an attorney and he was very professional and very caring! He is going to do very well.
