I had Mr.Paul Darby for my custody case and not only did he help me get my daughter back but made me feel extremely comfortable from the very start, beginning with laying out different scenarios that could play out depending on which judge was on the case. Once it came down to the nitty gritty mediation My emotions were scattered everywhere but once again with Mr.Darby ‘s down to earth & mellow personality I was again calm for the whole process while getting my demands met and exceeded. Mr Darby , right from the start and all the way to the end of our adoption case. which ended in my name on the birth certificate of ( MY) two children . I’ll start by highly recommended this firm for family law cases. Christian,Tiffany, Ashley and the entire team were very professional and patient. Very prompt and observant. They worked as a team and operated as a well oiled machine. Never once did they get flustered with all of our questions and concerns. They worked the fee agreement a bit differently then we are use to. It actually was a great way to work out the financial side of the case. Getting a divorce can be scary, especially for women. If your soon-to-be ex is anything like mine, you’ll understand. He said he was going to “destroy” me in court! Mr. Culver helped my family become whole. He represented us in a Step-parent adoption case. The case was longer than expected due to the current situation with the virus and closures of the courthouse but nonetheless everything went smoothly in our case even through Zoom trials. I went into Mr. Culver's office tangled in all sorts of thoughts and emotions after I received the papers from my ex's attorney. He was accusing me of contempt of a previous time sharing judgment, and asking for enforcement as well. Once speaking with Me. Culver I immediately knew God had sent me the person that would stand not only on my behalf but that of my child's as well. Not only did he fight as my attorney but there was a deeper motivation coming out as a father fighting for his daughter. There is a family dynamic within this office that took me and my family as their own. Not only did we win but he was just as happy to get what my daughter deserved as me not being found guilty of contempt. Jonathan came in late on my case. It was extremely complex and difficult. Many factors and years of litigation between me and the father of my child have made my case a nightmare (to say the least). Jon was professional and knowledgeable with case law. The opposing attorney demonstrated unethical behavior throughout the three day trial. Jon showed grace while going against his adversary. Jon is a pillar of the law and doesn't deviate from the statues set in place by Florida Law. Jon is a top notch family law attorney. His team is honest and hard working. My only regret was not finding him sooner. He won my case. There were aspects of the trial that were disturbing and Jon compiles and manages cases for the best outcome. He is also a top notch appellate attorney, so if you don't agree with the decision made by the court you can always appeal it. The fees are comparable to other family law attorneys. As with all court cases money is an important factor and attorneys work hard for their clients. I would highly recommend Jon as an ethical hard-working attorney for moms or dads that are fighting a battle for the best interest of their child.

I've dealt with a lot of lawyers in my profession and this one was not one I would want on my side. I showed up on time and she claimed she could not see me after she told me it would be ok to show up at the most 15 mins late. I would advise you to stay away but if you choose but would you want someone representing you who acts like that? In response to this lawyer commenting on my review, she is lying in public that I came in 15 mins late even when I was told it was ok to come in 15 mins late. I came in on time. Not 15 mins late. Of course I demanded a refund because no one should be lied to and taken advantage of. Use her at your own risk. I would rather look elsewhere... No way would you

Like a lot of people during the pandemic, I used the time to get my legal affairs in order. Laurie and team were very patient with me, and I got a great education in all the intricacies of family law. When all was said and done, they set me up with all the documents I had been putting off for years - trust, will, power of attorney and several more. They were set up for Zoom meetings, rookie questions and socially-distanced paperwork signing. I wouldn't say it was easy, but Laurie made it as painless as possible, and it was well worth the effort. What a relief to have it all done!

Our daughter was in need of skilled legal representation in a custody battle that had raged on for 5 years. She had consistently had lawyers that never provided any evidence about the lack of cooperation, harassment & belittling abuse she had continued to endure. I had what I believed to be was a very difficult divorce case. I owned various properties that were prior to my marriage that my spouse tried very hard to get. Paulette was honest in the law and assured me which properties would be protected and how to handle any other properties that may need to be fought. We were set for trial and then as soon as the other side received all of our evidence to be presented they quickly provided a settlement offer because they knew at that moment they would not get even half of what I tried to offer at mediation. From the moment I first called in and spoke with the office manager, Susan, I knew then my case mattered - before even spending a dime. Paulette handled my consultation with care and knowledge. She did not make me feel rushed and assured me that my worries about the cost to fight was not as important as hearing my story. That helped me feel less pressure and focus on the matter at hand. I have had multiple “free consultations” which are always rushed and never informative. Paulette did the complete opposite- we even laughed a little to help lighten the mood. My case was then assigned to my paralegal Angela, who I swear appeared very knowledgeable about the rules and procedures of my situation. She spent her time with me answering my questions, reassuring me and reminding me that this office is a team and I will never feel alone. Along the process we laughed together, cried together, and even celebrated - COVID style of course ????. Watching Paulette fight for me at trial meant so much. Chris Melendez is basically a sloth. This guy is a straight clown show. Couldn’t get his life together, understand the details, or do the work required to get my attorney the required documents in a timely manner. Waited 7 months for a financial affidavit, waited 2 weeks for a signature on a final agreement, and literally almost ran directly into trial because it took this guy two years to get his life in order. This is the epitome of taking your time and maximizing income for the firm over clients needs. Literally impossible to work with, and a waste of time. IF THIS GUY PASSED THE BAR EXAM, ANYONE CAN. GO TO LAW SCHOOL EVERYBODY!

Ok. Soooo I stumbled upon this law firm by googling "Best Law Firms" and Oh, am I glad I did! Mr. Baker was very thorough, patient and super professional. He was able to answer ANY and all questions that I threw at him. I started the process of an annulment on the 13th of April and it was finalized on the 26th of May! ???????????????????????????? You're talking about Happy? That was me that day! I was expecting delays (because of the situation) but God did it and The Virga Law Firm put it to play! I HIGHLY recommended this firm ????%!!!

Attorney Joseph Baker gave me some very insightful advice and recommendations. I really liked his professionalism and his ability to be understanding and courteous to my issues at hand. He gives free consultations, which to me is utterly important and was willing to see me face to face. Even during these trying times, Joseph wants to meet his clients in person. Kudos for that! His retention price is very reasonable and affordable compared to many other attorneys out there. Joseph also has high reviews on AVVO and in google reviews. He introduced himself at the start and is extremely polite. He was not condescending at all, nor did he try to throw out there any titles of where he went to law school.
