A friend of mine recommended Ms. Agostini to me when I was looking for an attorney to handle my divorce. I had previously seen another attorney but didn’t feel comfortable with him at all. As soon as I met Ms. Agostini, however, I immediately felt that she was much more than just an attorney. She led me through the long and painful divorce process with patience, tact and kindness. Brad Micklin and Rachel Issacs both handled my child support emancipation and termination of alimony with the Court. They are strong advocates of Men's and Father's Rights. They work with you to achieve an equitable solution, developing strategies along the timeline, which are shared with the client. Their entire staff is very responsive and always acted courteously and professional. And even with restrictions due to COVID-19 restrictions their ability to conduct business remotely through various technology portals, should be commended. I would recommend their Law Group for an Family Court Legal issues or advice.

I felt compelled to write another review about Brad Micklin. As I was preparing to represent myself in court after getting screwed over and wasting a ton of money on an ineffective lawyer, i became nervous and overwhelmed, as any Novice would. I had a deadline to meet and for lack of better terms I needed someone to hold my hand and walk me though steps that i was uneducated about couldn't find on my own conducting independent research. Brad gave me advice days before my deadline. although this was helpful and I didn't want to bother him, i reached out to him one more time with time-sensitive matter i needed him to look over. However, he had to prepare for a case and didn't have the time to look over my last minute details (Which is completely understandable especially since i wasn't a paying client and he already went out on a limb and helped me several times thus far.) I woke up the next morning telling myself, F$%^ it, i'll send it as is, i did the best that i could. I looked in my e-mail and there was an e-mail from Brad. He informed me that he had a few moments to spare , he gave it a once over , went above and beyond of me asking for advice and edited the document i sent over and wished me Luck. All you single Dads who haven't gotten screwed over yet, I strongly encourage you to retain Brad. When i tell you he has your best interest at heart, he does. He turned down hiring me as a client, advised me to save my money and instructed me on how I could effectively get the result I wanted on my own. I will forever be Grateful.

Words can’t do justice to Brad Micklin and his team. My consultation was with Brad. I didn’t feel rushed, I didn’t feel pressured, I felt comfortable and most of all I felt like I had someone on my side for my daughters best interest. I worked with Rachel Isaacs as well and she was great. Everyone that I had any interaction with was very courteous and respectful. Everyone was knowledgeable and helped me through this difficult time. Brad made himself available to me at all hours. His wife Carmen is absolutely amazing and was extremely emotionally supportive. I appreciate everything that they have done for me and even now continuing to help me with the ongoing issues that come up with my daughters father. I had never been in a courtroom before in my life until I was in need of a restraining order as a result of domestic violence. The best decision I made for myself was to hire Brad Micklin of the Micklin Law Group to represent me. You may notice that Brad usually represents men but in my case, as a woman, I felt secure and protected in court with Brad by my side. His style in court is very clever and strategic and he doesn't miss a thing. If the opposing side or even the judge says something questionable or inappropriate, Brad will catch it and call them out! He made sure the trial was fair and that my testimony was heard. The staff are very polite, responsive and professional. I always understood what was on my invoice and when payments were due. I pray that you, reader of this review, have happy and healthy relationship. But if you do ever need a family law attorney, I recommend that you call Brad.

Dennis Shlionsky represented me in a rear end accident in South Amboy. The insurance company denied responsibility for my injuries because my car had minor damage. Bruce Gudin was as thorough and efficient as he could be, especially in such a nontraditional setting. We spoke through emails and phone, yet he completely understood my concerns and questions, providing me exactly what I needed to know about my rights as a tenant and that my lease is indeed binding despite my landlord being a flip company that considers me nothing more than a barnacle to them that faithfully pays the rent on time and in full every month via certified mail. It’s been over a year since my divorce and I’m finally ready to write an honest review. I transferred my case to Bobby Epstein (Robert), after my initial lawyer mishandled my case. I had no clue how to get a divorce and I was shocked at how I suddenly felt like I found my personal advocate. He was up against older, established lawyers in Bergen county. His professionalism, expertise, creativity, patience, guidance, respect & ACCESSIBILITY were unmatched. He is well respected by his peers and judges in Bergen County. (I had the opportunity to observe his interactions during “downtime” in court.) He personally handled my case from beginning to end. (My previous firm pawned me off and I felt completely alone and overwhelmed. I could not reach her when an emergency situation came up. I was terrified but thought this is how it works, I guess- until I found Bobby from a friend who had used him.) Bobby truly cares. You are not “just a case”. He is not a “shark” by nature but the teeth come out when necessary. I've spoken to several law firms including an in-person consultation prior to covid. Judith was professional, courteous, she took her time explaining how their law firm works, who I would potentially work with on my case and the fees. Most importantly, I never once felt judged (my case involves DCPP, Domestic Violence & other issues) or that she wasnt willing to provide information until I made arrangements to hire their firm. I walked into Ms. LaForge’s office after firing a previously retained lawyer and was feeling very defeated about the prospect of being able to relocate with my son following my divorce. Mrs. Loren LaForge is a top notch experienced lawyer who truly understands family law & knows how to leverage information to best support her client. She has a special place in her heart to support women and mothers. I went to Peter when my marriage of 36 years was crumbling my wife had filed for divorce I was to say the least devastated I went to Peter after I had hired the wrong attorney for the divorce Prior to peter and things became a real mess . Peter was from the first day concerned and actually cared he showed tremendous human compassion throughout this whole mess he was not just an attorney to me he was a friend he listened and did not judge and if I had not had him in my life and as my attorney I truly don’t think I would have made it through it I was extremely painful as time went by my wife realized what a nasty mean and zero compassion of her attorney she had hired and realized peter was not the enemy nor was I we just drifted apart the whole time Peter encouraged my wife and I to talk he want us to have great communication not like her attorney trying to put us at odds constantly as time went on peter postponed the final divorce as I asked on several occasions as my wife was now broken shattered as I was she needed more time and peter gave us just that in the end my wife divorced although thanks to peter and his kind words and compassion became better friends than ever we still love and respect each other and all I can say is peter and his wonderful secretary deb were sensational I urge you before you make a mistake hire peter you won’t regret it and he was fair priced it was always a pleasure to pay him a Divorce can be one of the biggest things to face so please I urge you to do it with the best attorney friend and great human being on your side because there are no sides as I learned just a degree of loss with that being said thank you peter from the bottom of my heart and my prior wife feels the same way we will never forget the cad she hired and how peter saved us in so many ways again thanks Peter ????
