I was divorced in 2007 and fortunate to have Rosanne Detorres, Esquire as my attorney. Her knowledge, professionalism and unwavering strength helped me tremendously in navigating through the legal aspects of divorce at a most difficult time in my life. Unfortunately, I didn’t receive the agreed upon Support and over time the arrearages kept accruing. I attempted to enforce the past due support and represented myself due to lack of funds to no avail. In 2020 both of the X’s parents were deceased and as a beneficiary to his parents trust would be receiving a great deal of money. I notified New Jersey Child Support, Hunterdon County Probation along with Los Angeles Child Support staff & attorney’s and an attorney in California whom I hired on Contingency who have attempted to collect the arrearages on my behalf over time. During the process, I hired Carolyn Hand, Esquire from D & D in February 2021 to assist in a matter regarding Retroactive Termination of Support. Carolyn was extremely kind and compassionate. Her recommendation was an honest assessment of the situation and helped to create the best plan to end 15 years of attempts on my part to collect the Support that is due. Although it was necessary for me to negotiate the Spousal Support, I will receive the Child Support in full. Everything has worked out for the best and am thankful for the ability to finally find closure after many years thanks to all the support and kindness of all involved.

I'm in the middle of divorce and had to change my lawyer as he is not representing me but rather his own interests. It's middle of Christmas and nobody cares... Nobody that is other than Mindy and Carolyn. I called the office of DeTorres and DeGeorge after reading great reviews online posted about Carolyn Hand. Mindy the paraprofessional went out of her way to call the attorney right away (even though they were all gone for the holidays), she told me she is not going to let me go until she can help! It truly takes a heart to take away from your holiday time to help somebody else! Thank you Mindy!!! Divorces are hard and knowing that somebody that doesn't even know you is doing whatever they can to help is a very different than what I got from other law firms. Carolyn was amazing by agreeing to talk to me in expediated fashion (not when she had next available appointment) just because she wants to help! Professional Law Firm with a best in class track record. The previous review I have chosen to rescind. I did not retain DeTorres and DeGeorge, in the end our family matters in estate planning were resolved with the family attorney, however, Roseanne and Erin's esoteric comprehension and superior knowledge of the Law combined with years of experience would be productive to any high net worth client seeking estate planning and/or marital splits. Roseanne personally took my call on a Saturday and professionally navigated each of my inquiries and while I pushed for her services to be retained, my grandfather was set in his decision to use his long time friend. In either case, this firm is staffed by wonderful people who at the end of the day ensure the enforcement of equality while discreetly handling their client's situations. Highly recommend.

I hope I never have to go through the pain of a divorce again. However, if I did, I would never select Weinberger law firm even if the retainer was free. My initial meeting with Kourtney I thought I made the right decision with selecting my attorney. She had crystals placed on her desk which I recently got into since separating from my husband. Once the legal process started, I began to experiment the lack of urgency and slowness to respond from Kourtney. I would make it very clear in my emails when I needed a response. I understood I was not Kourtney’s only client. Once my ex-husband responded to the divorce petition it was discovered his attorney and Kourtney worked together. The way these two women went back and forth with each other were unprofessional and quite embarrassing. I had to tell Kourtney to please not copy me on these emails as it is not good for my mental health. I had only been married for 3.5 years which the divorce took a little over a year. I was so happy to not only put an end to this divorce from my ex but to also be done with my attorney. The divorce hearing came up rather fast which I thought. Unbeknownst to me, Kourtney and her paralegal had been in discussions with potential dates with opposing counsel. However, they failed to let me know. I am so glad to have this chapter behind me and not have to deal with this law firm and my ex!

I called on 10/16/20 and made an appointment for a consultation for a family law matter. When I researched them I found them to be what I thought I was looking for. I was very wrong. I made the appointment for 10/22 @ 4pm. I received multiple reminder emails about the appointment. I left early from work on the day of the appointment so I could make sure I was home and could give them my full attention. I had notes and questions so I could be efficient with there time as I knew this was a free consultation. Needless to say 4pm came and went without a phone call or any type of communication whatsoever. I decided to call there office and see if the lawyer I was told would be calling was available. The receptionist was short and and not helpful. I told her why I was calling and she just said I will connect you with her voicemail. I left a message and still never received a call or any type of reason why I was completely ignored. I am now left with scrambling to try and schedule with another firm and try to get the help I need. I guess there to busy to keep there appointments or at least reschedule them. Very unprofessional.

Theresa was my attorney. During my process she wasnt just a lawyer she was a friend. She cared about my family "my boys" just as much as I did. When I felt down like I didn't have a chance she was reassuring, confident and empathetic. Hopefully I never have to go through this process again, but if I did I would never in a million years use a different attorney. She won my case and my heart.

Best experience. I live in Washington and was served custody in New Jersey. I searched, made multiple calls and kept getting referred to Kisha Hebbon. Soon as I called and spoke with her for 5 min. I knew I found the custody attorney I needed. Being 2500 miles away and a 3 hour time zone difference. Everything worked out. I flew in, and Kesha meet me at the court house all ready. Within 3 hours, my ex and I came to an agreement that was a win for both and our kids. I believe this all happened, because of Kisha. She was known by the judge, the other attorney. Everyone knew her and knew she knows the law, in and out. If you need someone on your side. No matter how far away you live. Call Kisha. Well worth it.

I had a child support/custody case with my daughters father and from the beginning she was always very helpful and upfront and she even was very encouraging in telling us to work it out of court if possible. The day of the trial she was very professional and also explained everything so that I would understand what was going on. At one point she even encouraged me and my daughters father to sit and talk alone and we actually came up with a verbal agreement and we were able to resolve our issue out of the court system. Highly recommend Kisha to anyone who needs her services.

This is the second time Steven has represented my husband and I and we have nothing but good things to say. He has dealt with my crazy on all accounts and that is no easy feat. He is the very best at what he does and we have made HUGE strides in the courtroom and outside of the courtroom with him leading the way. He is truly in your corner at all times while he represents you and he makes sure you get as close to 100% of what you are looking for, but, will tell you how it is if he doesn’t believe that is attainable. Steven is unlike any other lawyer I’ve worked with in the past, and I’ve worked with some of the best in the country. One of my past attorney’s was my ex wife’s father, who had 50 years of experience and was a former prosecutor. There are two types of lawyers. One who can get things done because of connections. This type of lawyer is dishonest, albeit a good lawyer, but a dirt bag who will do anything for money, literally anything. The other is a smart, honest advocate who protects, and advances his clients interests. Steven is Intelligent enough to find the flaw in an adversary’s actions, and exploit it. He is especially good at destroying false allegations with undeniable truth. Watching Steven deliver an oral argument is worth every cent. So humiliated was opposing council, that he didn’t even come to the hearing; he conferenced in, and proceeded to be absolutely shredded by Steven’s argument. I was flabbergasted how good Steven’s oral argument was. His voice is loud, and commands respect. Judges respect and admire Steven because they know he is honest. I can not stress how important this is. His skill exposes corruption, and shines a light on the very system designed to guarantee the rights of individuals. When you hear an attorney absolutely crush the adversary; when you witness a Judge agree with Steven, without taking a recess to make his decision, you begin to understand the value Steven brings. Steven is the Legal Lion, because he is the King of the jungle. I’d put my money on Steven. He’s good. He’s much better than the adversary, and our adversaries were some of the best attorneys in the NJ. Highly recommended. I can’t say enough about Steven. I had some truly unique problems with my divorce. Not only did Steven meet me the same day I called him (even though he didn’t have the time), he understood exactly what approach was needed to resolve my challenges. I felt like I was being assisted by a family member or friend. He knew I was my worst enemy was me and explained in as much detail as I needed, which road we needed to go down to resolve each and every obstacle. He allowed me to get sleep at night. From the moment of our consultation Ms Ladonna was very proactive in her approach to be my lawyer. She believed in my rights as a father to my son and fought for my rights. She was able to submit information to the court before the court date that explain all my legal problems and also submitted evidence backing those claims in a timely manner. With all the evidence being organized the way it was the case only had 2 court session for the judge to rule in my favor. She reply to my calls and emails in a timely manner and performed beyond expectations in court in my defense. I consult with a few lawyers before consulting with MS Ladonna, and they all try to discourage me from pursuing my case , saying will be difficult for a judge to rule in my favor. MS Ladonna told me from the beginning that my demands were resonable and she was amazing in fighting for my rights as a father. I came from a situation where I could not see my son to having JOINT LEGAL AND PHYSICAL CUSTODY, and a resonable form of child support from the mother which was in my favor. Not many men can leave today's legal system of child custody feeling happy and victorious but I did. PS: I love my son and put him first so did MS Ladonna and we both did right by him. Thanks ever so much, I am forever in your debts.

David T Garner is not responsive at all. He’s working on a custody case to someone very close to me and it’s so hard getting him to respond or even update us on the case. He was so eager to take a hard working person’s money but will not deliver on his end. I would not recommend his services to anyone. Please find counsel elsewhere.
