This is my 2nd review for this firm because another thing was filed from the other side that had to be addressed. Amy and her team, in no short order, wiped the courtroom floor with the adversary's crocodile tears. Every single thing that was proposed from the other side was denied outright. In addition, Amy and her firm were able to successfully have attorney's fees awarded for the previous issue and awarded more now this most recent one this past week. Every case is different, but I can state without reservation that she and her team have been exceedingly successful defending my position and attacking on my behalf. Results. Period.

I cannot express my level of Gratitude to Bari, her colleagues and this FIRM! A level of professionalism which I rarely see these days in business. Passionate, empathetic and a level of knowledge of New Jersey Divorce Case Law that catapulted my cause. I was completely shaken, broken and destined to lose so much regarding my child custody situation. I just thought I hit a dead end. To sum up the experience, see timeline below: Scheduled an appoint 3 days ago==>Never received a call at that scheduled time==>Called the firm 15 minutes later ==>Put on hold for 5 minutes==transferred to "Julie"?==>Explained to Julie that I requested/expected to consult with Tanya==Transferred back to secretary, who tells me that Tanya is not available for a call for another 2 weeks!!==>Decided to recuse myself to seek other counsel This is not good business practice. Why does is feel like I had to chase or that I am an inconvenience when seeking your services? Attorneys are high ticket service providers yet they act like they are doing you a favor. What really made me decide to write this post was the fact that her secretary Janae had the audacity to tell me that I should've been specific that I wanted to speak with Tanya (even though I reached out to Tanya through her website and reiterated to Janae that I was calling to consult with Tanya). Overall: I would give no stars for lack of accountability, professionalism, and consideration of my time.

If one ever finds themselves in need of a family lawyer, Jacobs Berger is the firm to call. I cannot thank Sarah enough for the professionalism and compassion with which she handled my case. Sarah and her team were always responsive and made the time necessary to work through the issues presented in my extremely contentious divorce, including custody and finances. They were also as sensitive as possible to the bottom line, without cutting a single corner. Dennis Shlionsky represented me in a rear end accident in South Amboy. The insurance company denied responsibility for my injuries because my car had minor damage. That’s when I called Dennis and I’m glad I did. Dennis was an excellent lawyer. He was always there for me at anytime I ever had any questions regarding my case. It’s been over a year since my divorce and I’m finally ready to write an honest review. I transferred my case to Bobby Epstein (Robert), after my initial lawyer mishandled my case. I had no clue how to get a divorce and I was shocked at how I suddenly felt like I found my personal advocate. He was up against older, established lawyers in Bergen county. His professionalism, expertise, creativity, patience, guidance, respect & ACCESSIBILITY were unmatched. He is well respected by his peers and judges in Bergen County. (I had the opportunity to observe his interactions during “downtime” in court.) He personally handled my case from beginning to end. (My previous firm pawned me off and I felt completely alone and overwhelmed. I could not reach her when an emergency situation came up. I was terrified but thought this is how it works, I guess- until I found Bobby from a friend who had used him.) Bobby truly cares. You are not “just a case”. He is not a “shark” by nature but the teeth come out when necessary. In fact, he is a likeable and compassionate human being who truly wants to help you get out of your marriage as quickly as possible with optimal results for his clients.
