Before I came across Amy, I had already reached out to other law firms. I am happy to say I made a great decision in having Amy represent me. This is my 2nd review for this firm because another thing was filed from the other side that had to be addressed. Amy and her team, in no short order, wiped the courtroom floor with the adversary's crocodile tears. Every single thing that was proposed from the other side was denied outright. In addition, Amy and her firm were able to successfully have attorney's fees awarded for the previous issue and awarded more now this most recent one this past week. Every case is different, but I can state without reservation that she and her team have been exceedingly successful defending my position and attacking on my behalf. Results. Period.

Jamie has been amazing from the moment she took over my case from the other attorney till the settlement. I cannot express my level of Gratitude to Bari, her colleagues and this FIRM! A level of professionalism which I rarely see these days in business. Passionate, empathetic and a level of knowledge of New Jersey Divorce Case Law that catapulted my cause. I was completely shaken, broken and destined to lose so much regarding my child custody situation. I just thought I hit a dead end. I was referred to Bari and from the moment we first talked I was completely transformed. Her ability to break my case down into a means I could completely understand and then lay out paths of options which we could choose to take TOGETHER gave me incredible confidence, relaxation and faith. I was able to continue with my daily life knowing that this part of it was completely in good hands. In preparation for trial I was 100 percent involved and in "the loop." During the trial I had complete confidence I was being represented with my and my children's best interest in her and her firms heart at all times. I experienced resounding results and this has changed my life. I cannot thank Bari and her staff enough. And in such, I cannot recommend them at any higher level.

To sum up the experience, see timeline below: Scheduled an appoint 3 days ago==>Never received a call at that scheduled time==>Called the firm 15 minutes later ==>Put on hold for 5 minutes==transferred to "Julie"?==>Explained to Julie that I requested/expected to consult with Tanya==Transferred back to secretary, who tells me that Tanya is not available for a call for another 2 weeks!!==>Decided to recuse myself to seek other counsel This is not good business practice. Why does is feel like I had to chase or that I am an inconvenience when seeking your services? Attorneys are high ticket service providers yet they act like they are doing you a favor. What really made me decide to write this post was the fact that her secretary Janae had the audacity to tell me that I should've been specific that I wanted to speak with Tanya (even though I reached out to Tanya through her website and reiterated to Janae that I was calling to consult with Tanya). Overall: I would give no stars for lack of accountability, professionalism, and consideration of my time.

If one ever finds themselves in need of a family lawyer, Jacobs Berger is the firm to call. I cannot thank Sarah enough for the professionalism and compassion with which she handled my case. Sarah and her team were always responsive and made the time necessary to work through the issues presented in my extremely contentious divorce, including custody and finances. They were also as sensitive as possible to the bottom line, without cutting a single corner.
