I've spoken to several law firms including an in-person consultation prior to covid. Judith was professional, courteous, she took her time explaining how their law firm works, who I would potentially work with on my case and the fees. Most importantly, I never once felt judged (my case involves DCPP, Domestic Violence & other issues) or that she wasnt willing to provide information until I made arrangements to hire their firm. Based on that alone I would recommend seriously considering the Williams Law Group.

Too much to even write. Check out the reviews on YELP. Don’t use these guys. No attention to detail. They bill bill bill for every little thing including their poorly written emails. My attorney didn’t listen and was more concerned with his own nuptials than my divorce.

Both Laura and Melissa are fantastic. They were consultative and genuinely supportive through the entire process. It was important to me that I had an amicable divorce. Family Law deals most often with divorce. It's obviously not a field enveloped with a positive vibe as heart-broken clients sort out their fears, sorrow, hostility, and anxiety. But Ruvolo Law Group was able to recognize these emotions, allow me to experience them, and then keep me moving forward with my head up. They helped me see that, with children involved, divorce isn't really the end; the marriage may be over but the relationship must continue to be grounded in respect for the sake of the children. Michelle and Melissa (and the super-friendly assistant, Kristin) worked together on my case and they got me through some very difficult times. They supported me when I needed it, gave me strength when I had none, and kept my eyes open to the bigger picture. I could not have dreamt up a better lawyer than Melissa. With any divorce there is a rollercoaster of emotions throughout the process, but Melissa made it so, that when I was talking to her about my assets and my future, there was not a speck of stress worry, or doubt. She truly understands what you are going through and works relentlessly to see that her clients get all that they deserve. I don't know how she does it, but even with multiple clients, she sees to it that she puts just as much time and effort in every single one. And she doesn't just go by the book and say we have to do this this and this, but instead takes the time to get to know you, understand your personal situation, and figure out the best way to get you exactly what you are entitled to. You would think going with a major law firm would be more beneficial but it is not with Weinberger. My attorney did not explain what I'm entitled to and she gave me no guidance throughout the process. She told me things that were not true and when I confronted her about it she she ignored my concern about it. Towards the end of my divorce process Weinberger switched my attorney which is fine but then when I asked a few questions about the documents my previous attorney wrote up I was informed I would have to pay more money for my new attorney to look into it because she didn't write up the document but if I still had the original attorney working on my case it wouldn't cost me anything. Even though it is not my fault I still would have to pay according to them. It also took this law firm a full year after my divorce was finalized to change the deed of the house. They blamed it in Covid but what they didn't know is I was in touch with the county clerks office and Weinberger kept screwing up the paperwork and not paying the right amount to finalize the paperwork. I don't recommend this law firm at all.

It’s been over a year since my divorce and I’m finally ready to write an honest review. I transferred my case to Bobby Epstein (Robert), after my initial lawyer mishandled my case. I had no clue how to get a divorce and I was shocked at how I suddenly felt like I found my personal advocate. He was up against older, established lawyers in Bergen county. His professionalism, expertise, creativity, patience, guidance, respect & ACCESSIBILITY were unmatched. He is well respected by his peers and judges in Bergen County. (I had the opportunity to observe his interactions during “downtime” in court.) He personally handled my case from beginning to end. (My previous firm pawned me off and I felt completely alone and overwhelmed. I could not reach her when an emergency situation came up. I was terrified but thought this is how it works, I guess- until I found Bobby from a friend who had used him.) Bobby truly cares. You are not “just a case”. He is not a “shark” by nature but the teeth come out when necessary. In fact, he is a likeable and compassionate human being who truly wants to help you get out of your marriage as quickly as possible with optimal results for his clients. If one ever finds themselves in need of a family lawyer, Jacobs Berger is the firm to call. I cannot thank Sarah enough for the professionalism and compassion with which she handled my case. We hired Jacobs and Berger to legally adopt my step-son and we couldn't be happier. Amanda was amazing and got us all the results we could have hoped for.
