As my Mother was being treated at the hospital, I started my discussions with Craig to get my mother qualified on Medicaid, as I knew she was headed to a long term care facility. He helped me navigate keeping my mother's home, conducted onsite interviews with the medicaid office, and was responsive by email. If you need an elder care attorney or are unsure if you need one, give Craig a call. If you have no assets whatsoever, go ahead and perhaps receive free help from the nursing home. This isnt the firm I use, but David is the attorney for the Town of Winfield, they were hired due to my complaint. I have been told that if I have any questions and such, i need to deal directly with David Austgen, i have left several msgs and emails no response, I guess because he is getting paid big bucks from the town, he doesn't want to talk to me, my complaint was investigated I cant even get the outcome. Just a ridiculous office to deal with, i would search for another firm. He just wasted everyone's time and tons of money without any outcome response.

Few years ago was not in my right mind, coerced into ambulance. The city got these guys to make me pay. Entered payment agreement, pretty sure I've paid out more than triple the original bill. Made last payment a couple months ago but just got a letter saying I'm late with last month's payment. How can that be if I made the last payment the month prior?

Rip off attorney. Collections for medical bills and making a profit from people who are hurting financially after a medical emergency. Charging interest and extra fees on medical and ambulance bills. This is not right. Took us to court we paid what the court paper said over a year making payments and now he wants an extra 220.00 dollars. That is not right.

Corey quickly prepared Power of Attorney Documents, Caregiver Agreement and Medical Directives after meeting with him with my 92 year old mother and my husband. We all came in over two years ago and paid him $900 for his drafting of these documents. We were told to call him and come back if we needed any updates or advice and we have left several voice mails for him and never received any call back. Not happy. Seems he does not want to continue helping us. And, please don’t say you have looked at your records and can’t find our name as ever coming to your office. We have the documents. I called Corey to get an update on a probate. Both he and his staff were extremely rude and unprofessional. I would consider this a very “Rough Around the Edges” Law Firm. We have since found a law firm that took care of our case in month what you couldn’t do in over a year but kept asking for more and more money.
