I was injured in a car accident. It was not a life altering, permanently debilitating injury. I injured my shoulder, it created radiating pain into my back and neck, but at first did not seem like it would lead to surgery. I dealt with Physical Therapy and Doctors for over a year before it was determined that I would have to have a surgery. The whole time, I told myself, "I don't need a lawyer." The insurance for the at fault party continued to call me and make me believe that they would take care of the liability. I released consent for them to collect my medical records and bills, and then realized they were doing nothing - just delaying. I contacted Lance Walters of Tracey and Fox, at which time all of my effort in dealing with the financial recovery was no longer my problem. It became effortless on my part. Lance and his Paralegal Angie Wilson handled everything. I had to make a little effort to help collect any information from my employer, but was well guided by Lance. At the end of the process Lance and his staff handled reimbursement to my primary healthcare, and left me with about four times what I was out of pocket for 2 years of medical co-pays and deductibles. If you want someone who will do the BARE MINIMUM go with them. They don't care about you or your situation. They don't respond to your messages or your concerns. It's hard to even get ahold of them. Even if you spoon feed them information they don't listen to you. After a month of dragging things they dropped us as clients. After they blatantly lied to us and said they were waiting on some info which they didn't do. DO NOT GO HERE. I wish we would have gone to some better lawyers.

Okay, I am sure you all have heard the stereotypical notions about lawyers. I too have joked around about this but I must say that when you need one, they're an amazing asset to have by your side. The WT Johnson team is the go-to place if you've been injured in a car accident. Dallas is a wild place and people here are so aggressive. When looking for representation we sought a firm that could somehow view things a bit from our point of view. I am very pleased with the attention to detail, the firm stance that the attorneys held in our defense and of course, the settlement in the end. Had we not hired representation, I am sure the insurance company would have made it seem like we owed them in the end. David Crowe rocked our world and I am thankful for having these guys go to bat for us.
