5.0 star rating In 2019, my son was arrested and was accused of a serious crime. His case was deemed "difficult to defend". My son was looking at life in prison and I needed to find a great lawyer to help him. We looked at some lawyers but then we saw the Law Offices of Shaun Khojayan & Associates. We immediately called and was greeted by Gracie. She was kind, helpful, and understood our emotions. She set an appointment for us to meet with Shaun Khojayan. Once we meet with him we knew he was the one that would defend my son. He was very helpful and we were delighted to hear that he was able to take on the case. We hired him and it was the best decision I made for my son. During the preliminary hearing, he and his wife did an amazing job defending my son and found inconsistency in his case. After the preliminary hearing, Shaun wrote to the D.A to dismiss his case, and then we waited. While we waiting to hear back from the D.A we entered the COVID pandemic and my son's court dates were delayed. Despite the many delays, Shaun constantly stayed in contact with my family for updates and we appreciated the communication on his part. His hard work paid off when my son got a miracle deal. His letter worked, and my son was released from jail. He was able to return home after 13 months. We are so thankful to Shaun and his law firm for working hard to defend my son's case. For many years my father and I have been terrified that one day this would still be hanging over his head and possibly lose the opportunity of our family being whole. Put succinctly, she was intelligent, hard working, responsive, and very knowledgeable throughout our time working together. While I of course cannot divulge details about the assistance that she provided for me, I can and will say that her representation was pivotal and changed my life for the better beyond words. We found Janet Hong through a personal referral and we are so glad we did. My friend's 15-year-old son got charged with robbery for pushing some kid and taking his cell phone. His son is autistic and suffers from severe social anxiety and depression. He was already in counseling and receiving special education through the school, but recently his behavior had gotten worse. Ms. Hong was very sensitive to these issues. She understood what he was going through as a teenager with special needs and knew how to get through to him. In the end, her experience dealing with minors in the juvenile court system came through. She was able to get the case dismissed and sealed. It was such a relief. My cousin was charged with attempted murder in Riverside for allegedly stabbing someone. He was facing life in prison. We could not believe it. We didn’t understand the process and we had no idea what was going to happen to him. My family and I all pitched in to hire Janet Hong to take his case. From day one she was responsive, knowledgeable, and answered all the questions we had - and we had many. Her experience and knowledge of the system became very evident the more we spoke to her. David Diamond has represented my son and had gone against every principal you try to teach your child with accountability, honesty and integrity. Everything we tried to do as parents to protect and teach your child to do the right thing was thwarted by enablers and David Diamond. We would always tell my son that we love him and he will figure it out one day. He still has to figure things out and to live a productive life in society but he knows now the ones who had his best interest at heart and the enablers. When we tried to get our son into rehab, every effort was to fabricate and make excuses for behavior rather than to acknowledge the behavior and find out why it is occurring. Thank goodness my son does realize that he needs to adjust to society in order to excel in life.....which does not mean you give up your personality and beliefs but you exist where you can be happy and content in life but still follow social rules and guidelines. This will take many more years for my son to learn and David Diamond hindered that along with three enablers who have since apologized for their part in what they have done to lead this child down a path that was not ok. Please .....every parent vote as if this were your child who you were trying to help, yet being hindered every step of the way.......

I hired Ron Hoffman and his law firm for a hit and run defense in which I probably shouldn't have been able to get the charges dropped, but Ron and his team were able to get me off the free and clear. His team was amazing in every step of the process. In 2019 I was arrested in Pasadena facing 25 years. this was my first time ever being arrested or charged with a crime, and I had 5 felonies. I thought my life was over. The first 3 times I went to (Pasadena) court I was assigned a public defender, who was not only extremely busy with other cases, but also did not seem to believe that I was telling the truth. After speaking with other inmates I had my father contact the Shouse Law Group, where I was placed in contact with attorney Karthik Krishnan. He immediately set up a meeting to come and visit me, where I explained my situation. Unlike with my public defender I really felt that Karthik wanted to help me, and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Within 2 weeks we had made more progress than in the previous 3 months, and my outlook on the situation began to change. I remember one day Karthik was visiting me, and he could see that I was very stressed. He asked what I was concerned about, and I explained that I was loosing hope and that I didn’t know if I would ever see the outside would again. After patiently listening Karthik then explained his step by step game plan for every single one of those concerns. I cannot tell you what a difference this made, I went back to my cell filled with hope. This hope was kept alive due to the great communication he had with me, I never felt forgotten. I stopped worrying about getting “lost in the system” because I knew he wouldn’t let that happen. Karthik seemed to take a lot of pride in helping me, and I could see that he was actively motivated to get me justice. This in turn motivated me to stay out of trouble in the jail, and to not give up, something many inmates around me had done. I really felt that he went above and beyond to help me not only understand the laws and the legal side, but to also show me that my life wasn’t over. In the end I was sentenced to formal probation, with a program instead of state prison. I could not have been more satisfied with this outcome. Karthik even explained that in a few years I have an opportunity to reduce my felonies to misdemeanors, and that he would be able to help me with that too. He went above and beyond to help me, and I could not have been more grateful to have found him and this firm.

I am not normally one to write reviews, but I could not recommend Stephen and Kenneth more. They helped me navigate an incredibly stressful time in my life, and their expertise allowed me to continue moving forward without disruption. Both Stephen and Kenneth are kind, compassionate, and excellent at their job. From our first meeting forward, I found them very reassuring, and I had all the trust and confidence in them that I could. Thank you for everything!

Stephen and Kenneth have done exceptional work and helped me through some tough times. I was involved in a DV situation where I was wrongfully arrested. Through their diligence and hard work, I had no case filed against me. The DA dismissed the entire case as insufficient evidence. Stephen and Kenneth also successfully helped me prepare a persuasive letter to my future employers when the same DV situation came up on a background check. They are responsive, easy to talk to, and genuinely care for their clients. While no one wants to be in a position where they need a criminal attorney, having one with proven success is assuring.

We feel very fortunate to have found Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Kahn and for having them represent my loved one’s case. It is very difficult to have a loved one going through an uncertain and scary situation, in a different state, particularly when you don’t know the state’s law or how to navigate the justice system. I desperately called many attorneys in CA looking for help and Mr. Rodriguez was the only one who called me back and patiently guided me through next steps. He and his partner, Mr Kahn, have always kept us informed and both of them fought very hard for my loved one’s case. They have the human element that is often lost in the justice system. They advocate for your case and are kind and informative. Despite the pandemic, they remained committed. We couldn’t have asked for better representation and are forever grateful to them!

I typically do not write reviews, but I felt that the law office of Stephen G. Rodriguez & Partners really deserves some commendation. Specifically Stephen G. Rodriguez himself. I hired him to help me on a legal matter and from day one he didn't rest. His diligence and tenacity towards my case was nothing short of admirable. He spent countless hours in person, over the phone and researching to ensure the best outcome. Opposing counsel was difficult to work with but he never gave up. This led to a successful case, he got my case dismissed, with prejudice so that I am also protected in the future.. I always felt at ease when talking to him. If you ever find yourself in need of a trustworthy defense attorney that will fight for you he is your man. His long tenure will outshine others without a doubt.
