5.0 star rating In 2019, my son was arrested and was accused of a serious crime. His case was deemed "difficult to defend". My son was looking at life in prison and I needed to find a great lawyer to help him. We looked at some lawyers but then we saw the Law Offices of Shaun Khojayan & Associates. We immediately called and was greeted by Gracie. She was kind, helpful, and understood our emotions. She set an appointment for us to meet with Shaun Khojayan. Once we meet with him we knew he was the one that would defend my son. He was very helpful and we were delighted to hear that he was able to take on the case. We hired him and it was the best decision I made for my son. During the preliminary hearing, he and his wife did an amazing job defending my son and found inconsistency in his case. After the preliminary hearing, Shaun wrote to the D.A to dismiss his case, and then we waited. While we waiting to hear back from the D.A we entered the COVID pandemic and my son's court dates were delayed. Despite the many delays, Shaun constantly stayed in contact with my family for updates and we appreciated the communication on his part. His hard work paid off when my son got a miracle deal. His letter worked, and my son was released from jail. He was able to return home after 13 months. We are so thankful to Shaun and his law firm for working hard to defend my son's case. Shaun, First and foremost we would like to say that without your help, knowledgeable advice and dedication we would not be able to enjoy the new life that we have now been granted. For many years my father and I have been terrified that one day this would still be hanging over his head and possibly lose the opportunity of our family being whole. During the hearing we were nervous and terrified, even after hearing the word granted we still weren’t sure what exactly was going on. In 2019 I was arrested in Pasadena facing 25 years. this was my first time ever being arrested or charged with a crime, and I had 5 felonies. I thought my life was over. The first 3 times I went to (Pasadena) court I was assigned a public defender, who was not only extremely busy with other cases, but also did not seem to believe that I was telling the truth. After speaking with other inmates I had my father contact the Shouse Law Group, where I was placed in contact with attorney Karthik Krishnan. He immediately set up a meeting to come and visit me, where I explained my situation. Unlike with my public defender I really felt that Karthik wanted to help me, and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Within 2 weeks we had made more progress than in the previous 3 months, and my outlook on the situation began to change. I remember one day Karthik was visiting me, and he could see that I was very stressed. He asked what I was concerned about, and I explained that I was loosing hope and that I didn’t know if I would ever see the outside would again. After patiently listening Karthik then explained his step by step game plan for every single one of those concerns. I cannot tell you what a difference this made, I went back to my cell filled with hope. This hope was kept alive due to the great communication he had with me, I never felt forgotten. I stopped worrying about getting “lost in the system” because I knew he wouldn’t let that happen. Karthik seemed to take a lot of pride in helping me, and I could see that he was actively motivated to get me justice. This in turn motivated me to stay out of trouble in the jail, and to not give up, something many inmates around me had done. I really felt that he went above and beyond to help me not only understand the laws and the legal side, but to also show me that my life wasn’t over. In the end I was sentenced to formal probation, with a program instead of state prison. I could not have been more satisfied with this outcome. Karthik even explained that in a few years I have an opportunity to reduce my felonies to misdemeanors, and that he would be able to help me with that too. He went above and beyond to help me, and I could not have been more grateful to have found him and this firm.

I was quite impressed with Mat Rochlin. I have been in business for almost 50 years and one thing I alway hate is legal headaches. Mat did a great job of communicating and keeping me in the loop. At the same time he kept things moving forward and did a great job of closing this off before trial. Keeping costs unproductive losses and time down. I have great respect for his keeping me calm while I was put off by false and inflated claims by the opposing side. He can do a secondary job of being is Shrink for keeping my feet on the ground while I was angry over being made to be seen in an inappropriate and unflattering light. I would very much recommend him for his astute legal acumen and skillful maneuvering in todays complex legal waters. Try him out you won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for legal representation I would suggest for you to consider Janet Hong. Put succinctly, she was intelligent, hard working, responsive, and very knowledgeable throughout our time working together. While I of course cannot divulge details about the assistance that she provided for me, I can and will say that her representation was pivotal and changed my life for the better beyond words. Altogether, I worked with Janet for the better part of a year and all throughout that time she was attentive to my questions and concerns. I never had to wait long for a response and she ensured ample face-to-face time in order to answer my questions and ensure my preparedness and comfort. Not once did I feel lost or overwhelmed. We found Janet Hong through a personal referral and we are so glad we did. My friend's 15-year-old son got charged with robbery for pushing some kid and taking his cell phone. His son is autistic and suffers from severe social anxiety and depression. He was already in counseling and receiving special education through the school, but recently his behavior had gotten worse. Ms. Hong was very sensitive to these issues. She understood what he was going through as a teenager with special needs and knew how to get through to him. In the end, her experience dealing with minors in the juvenile court system came through. She was able to get the case dismissed and sealed. It was such a relief. If you are a parent and your teenage son or daughter gets charged with a crime, I cannot recommend a better lawyer than Janet Hong.

My cousin was charged with attempted murder in Riverside for allegedly stabbing someone. He was facing life in prison. We could not believe it. We didn’t understand the process and we had no idea what was going to happen to him. My family and I all pitched in to hire Janet Hong to take his case. From day one she was responsive, knowledgeable, and answered all the questions we had - and we had many. Her experience and knowledge of the system became very evident the more we spoke to her. She was real, and she leveled with us about the seriousness of the case without sugarcoating anything. We appreciated that. But most importantly, we knew she cared 100% for my cousin. She went out to visit him several times in Banning jail, spending hours at a time speaking with him and going over the evidence. We knew she cared about him and was going to fight hard for him. After all the investigation and negotiating with the DA, Janet was able to get my cousin only 18 months. When she told me the news, I almost cried. I thought he was going away to prison for the rest of his life, but now he’ll be out next year. My family and I will be forever grateful to her.

I got the impression he was generally incompetent. Spoke with him and he did some grandstanding about how law is like sorcery and made vague and general statements, then offered to take the case for 30k. An oxygen abuser. He replied to this and seemed to think he can authenticate telephone calls with a survey; demonstrating his competency and aptitude. Always do these tests before hiring an attorney.

He wasn't able to build any value so I didn't hire him, but man did he try. I quizzed him on the law and he failed then pretended legal precedent is secret classified knowledge lol. Scam artist Now he's leaving some standardized reply to try to wash away his rejection. Sad. Adam stayed on top of things and would constantly check up on me to ask if I had any questions or if I needed to do anything he would let me know as soon as he had the information I needed. I would totally recommend Manshoory Law Group to anyone that has ran into some tough times. James Kosnett and his associate John Alexander were tremendously helpful in my family's fight against a private institute of higher education. They answered our call when virtually no one else would. Perhaps a bit pricey, but they managed to make the best of our situation. That being said, they aren't miracle workers, and can only work with the given facts. I read some of the other (more negative) reviews and can see how people might be put off by James' questioning - but at least in my experience, this was to flesh out our case and determine the weaknesses. Unfortunately in the law, not every wrong has a remedy, but James and John did the best they could, and we got a satisfactory outcome. The one thing I should add is, if your student is having difficulty at school, don't wait for things to escalate, just get James on the phone ASAP, this will save you tons of grief!

Completely unprofessional. A criminal case lawyer shouldn’t handle a civil case. Even when Louis Kosnett handled criminal cases he doesn’t seem to be professional; seems like he doesn’t even understand the elements of some California laws. My warm-hearted suggestion: maybe going back to law school is a good idea. The only reason I gave 1 star is that I can’t give him zero.

Mr. Miranda was very professional and very educated, he always reassured myself and my family the status of the case as well as taking the time to explain the laws in the book & the charges that were being placed. Very communicative, he got my felony DUI dropped down to a misdemeanor in a court that rarely grants misdemeanor charges! He was even able to get my court fees significantly dropped!!! He’s also showing up to another court date as a courtesy to me to make sure my insurance covered damages, my family & I are very grateful, highly recommend! Great lawyer!

I was accused of some criminal allegations which I hired attorney David Chesley to represent me for. David did a great job defending me against these felony allegations.
