5.0 star rating In 2019, my son was arrested and was accused of a serious crime. His case was deemed "difficult to defend". My son was looking at life in prison and I needed to find a great lawyer to help him. We looked at some lawyers but then we saw the Law Offices of Shaun Khojayan & Associates. We immediately called and was greeted by Gracie. She was kind, helpful, and understood our emotions. She set an appointment for us to meet with Shaun Khojayan. Once we meet with him we knew he was the one that would defend my son. He was very helpful and we were delighted to hear that he was able to take on the case. We hired him and it was the best decision I made for my son. During the preliminary hearing, he and his wife did an amazing job defending my son and found inconsistency in his case. After the preliminary hearing, Shaun wrote to the D.A to dismiss his case, and then we waited. While we waiting to hear back from the D.A we entered the COVID pandemic and my son's court dates were delayed. Despite the many delays, Shaun constantly stayed in contact with my family for updates and we appreciated the communication on his part. His hard work paid off when my son got a miracle deal. His letter worked, and my son was released from jail. He was able to return home after 13 months. We are so thankful to Shaun and his law firm for working hard to defend my son's case. Shaun, First and foremost we would like to say that without your help, knowledgeable advice and dedication we would not be able to enjoy the new life that we have now been granted. For many years my father and I have been terrified that one day this would still be hanging over his head and possibly lose the opportunity of our family being whole. During the hearing we were nervous and terrified, even after hearing the word granted we still weren’t sure what exactly was going on. It’s been stressful and some what nerve racking throughout the entire process. We couldn’t have done any of this without you. I reached out to several lawyers prior to obtaining Brian Hurwitz as my lawyer. It was clear from our first phone conversation that he was the guy for the job. My case initially started with a restraining order. It then went to three felonies (two being violent felonies) and a restraining order. I literally saw my life drastically changing for the worst right before my eyes. Brian had the courage to pick up both of my cases. The victim, who was my ex girlfriend, was doing everything in her power to make my life miserable and put me in jail for a long time. While Brian did not promise an end result, he promised that he would fight hard for the best outcome for me. There were many plot twists and turns throughout my case and during the restraining order process. Brian was able to weave through all of them and use his knowledge to get us out unscathed. In 2019 I was arrested in Pasadena facing 25 years. this was my first time ever being arrested or charged with a crime, and I had 5 felonies. I thought my life was over. The first 3 times I went to (Pasadena) court I was assigned a public defender, who was not only extremely busy with other cases, but also did not seem to believe that I was telling the truth. After speaking with other inmates I had my father contact the Shouse Law Group, where I was placed in contact with attorney Karthik Krishnan. He immediately set up a meeting to come and visit me, where I explained my situation. Unlike with my public defender I really felt that Karthik wanted to help me, and that he would do everything in his power to help me. Within 2 weeks we had made more progress than in the previous 3 months, and my outlook on the situation began to change. I remember one day Karthik was visiting me, and he could see that I was very stressed. He asked what I was concerned about, and I explained that I was loosing hope and that I didn’t know if I would ever see the outside would again. After patiently listening Karthik then explained his step by step game plan for every single one of those concerns. I cannot tell you what a difference this made, I went back to my cell filled with hope. This hope was kept alive due to the great communication he had with me, I never felt forgotten. I stopped worrying about getting “lost in the system” because I knew he wouldn’t let that happen. Karthik seemed to take a lot of pride in helping me, and I could see that he was actively motivated to get me justice. This in turn motivated me to stay out of trouble in the jail, and to not give up, something many inmates around me had done. I really felt that he went above and beyond to help me not only understand the laws and the legal side, but to also show me that my life wasn’t over. In the end I was sentenced to formal probation, with a program instead of state prison. I could not have been more satisfied with this outcome. Karthik even explained that in a few years I have an opportunity to reduce my felonies to misdemeanors, and that he would be able to help me with that too. He went above and beyond to help me, and I could not have been more grateful to have found him and this firm.

I hired Ron Hoffman and his law firm for a hit and run defense in which I probably shouldn't have been able to get the charges dropped, but Ron and his team were able to get me off the free and clear. His team was amazing in every step of the process. Edward Blum is a DUI Attorney pretending to know what he is doing in Family Court. One key ingredient of Family Law is to help alleviate tensions and keep the situation calm, but Edward has enabled his Client NOT to follow the Court's directions, helped hide a child from a parent when the Judge instructed the opposite. Edward should be heavily vetted before you let him represent you, there is a reason he does not have current reviews. Do your research.

I was very close to receiving a DUI in 2017 and I contacted Edward Blum for some advice on how to move forward with this issue . Long story short Mr.Blum got my DUI lowered to a misdemeanor speeding ticket and I have been beyond grateful since then. Adam stayed on top of things and would constantly check up on me to ask if I had any questions or if I needed to do anything he would let me know as soon as he had the information I needed.
