Lee Phillips is, first and foremost, a good person. Mr. Phillips, as an attorney, looks not only at the charges which his clients face, but finds the humanity in each of his clients as he crafts their defense arguments. My family member pled, and Mr. Phillips was there throughout the process of his hearing, incarceration, and ensured the individual’s expedited release. They gave ancillary guidance after release and during probation to make sure this family member’s judgement was met prior to custodial release. Satisfaction isn't a strong enough word to describe my experience with Mr. Phillips and his team. Inspiration is what I felt when everything was said and done. Cates and Garvey did an excellent job taking care of me and my case. They kept me informed about my case. They went above and beyond. I had 3 charges. I had warrants from 10 years ago. I was trying to wipe my slate clean and get my life back straight. I live in Texas. They made sure I didn’t have to travel to go to my court date. I was allowed to do it all by phone. When everything was said and done. All 3 of my charges were dropped. I definitely have no complaints and I wouldn’t have had any had it went another direction. Cates and Garvey were honest and upfront with me from the start. I would 100% use them again. If someone gave a bad review on here. I would guess the problem was them. My brother had a trafficking case and he got the max sentence and he had never got in trouble before. They never called during the whole 8 months and kept switching lawyers between the law group. When we got to the final court the lawyer didn’t even try to fight his case. Any other lawyer would be better I wish we never came here

I am using a fake name for this review because I would rather not use my real name for this, but I was facing a DUI charge and several drug possession felonies in the state of Arizona. Joshua Davidson was able to reach a deal with the prosecutor that gave me a chance to complete my case with several less charges than I had been charged with. Joshua Davidson is on point with communication and never made me any promises. Despite not making any promises he was able to get me probation and not any jail time. I would recommend this attorney to anyone in Arizona facing drug possession or DUI charges. He is obviously very experienced in this field and will do his absolute best to find the best possible outcome for all of his clients.

After reading several reviews, I was confident in selecting Josh Davidson and I am more than glad I did. I had called one other highly reviewed attorney prior and spoke with a receptionist who put me on hold for several minutes then told me she would have the attorney call me the next day. After 2 days and no call back, I called Josh Davidson's office. A receptionist answered but told me she would check to see if Josh was available and he accepted the call right away. I already felt better that he offered to talk to me personally. From the beginning, he was very supportive and maintained that support throughout the process. Josh is extremely knowledgeable with laws, penalties, options etc. and was very thorough in explaining everything and ensuring all my questions were answered before they even arose. I never had to talk to an assistant, he answered all my calls and emails personally and was willing to meet with me face to face when requested. There were several things I would have done incorrectly or been unaware of without his guidance and he definitely made the whole experience as painless as possible. He has a lot of experience and expertise in his profession and a good reputation which I am certain helped in my case. I cannot thank him enough for all he has done. If you find yourself in a legal bind, he is the guy to partner with.

When you are facing criminal charges and your time/life is on the line there is no one i would recommend more than Jason. I know how hard it is to find a good lawyer. I’ve been screwed over by a few other lawyers in the past, so i am very skeptical when choosing the proper one. Jason lived up to everything and more!! Let me tell you this guy delivered! Aaron black is sharp and highly efficient. He was very quick to reply to my e-mails, which was really reassuring. At our first meeting, I was impressed by how attentive and patient he was when I told him the injustice inflicted on me. I will always remember the fact that he took extensive notes and the way he did it, in part because my first divorce attorney whom I fired, did nothing comparable. The fact that the charge my soon-to-be ex pressed against me was the result of his chilling false allegations about an violent event he instigated and of his use of my nine year old daughter to conceal his violence and frame me does not make my case easy. Nor does it necessarily mean I was to be treated with justice. However, in retrospect, Aaron Black got me the deal, a pre plea diversion at a lightning speed. The reality is that within a month or so after my first meeting with Aaron in late February and my subsequent hiring of him, he got the above-noted deal. Prior to obtainment of the deal, Aaron succinctly pointed out the inconsistencies in a police report concerning my ex-to-be’s allegations and conveyed his professional opinions about the charge against me. That is to say, the charge against me should be dismissed without any conviction. I have already got the official order of dismissal. I believe it is his rational thinking and professional experience that helped me clear myself of false allegations. If you are looking for a highly capable and understanding attorney who will shield you from injustice, I strongly recommend you to work with Aaron Black!! He walked me through the entire process, was always great about getting back to me with any questions I had, and he was diligent about going over all the evidence to find anything that would help my case. After a careful study of the videos of my arrest, he was able to argue down my extreme DUI to a regular DUI, resulting in lower fines, less time with an interlock, less jail time. Awesome attorney!

Thank you for all your hard work and getting my DUI charge dropped before the trial! Aaron was always available by text or phone whenever I had a question. He was very thorough and detailed with his explanations during the many steps of the legal process. For our pre-trial hearing, Aaron hired a great expert witness and was relentless with the prosecutor, objecting to many of the statements and questions he was posing. We had a plea deal on the table for reckless driving from day 1, and somehow Aaron worked his magic to get the case completely dismissed. Not even the plea deal! Aaron black is sharp and highly efficient. He was very quick to reply to my e-mails, which was really reassuring. At our first meeting, I was impressed by how attentive and patient he was when I told him the injustice inflicted on me. I will always remember the fact that he took extensive notes and the way he did it, in part because my first divorce attorney whom I fired, did nothing comparable. The fact that the charge my soon-to-be ex pressed against me was the result of his chilling false allegations about an violent event he instigated and of his use of my nine year old daughter to conceal his violence and frame me does not make my case easy. Nor does it necessarily mean I was to be treated with justice. However, in retrospect, Aaron Black got me the deal, a pre plea diversion at a lightning speed. The reality is that within a month or so after my first meeting with Aaron in late February and my subsequent hiring of him, he got the above-noted deal. Prior to obtainment of the deal, Aaron succinctly pointed out the inconsistencies in a police report concerning my ex-to-be’s allegations and conveyed his professional opinions about the charge against me. That is to say, the charge against me should be dismissed without any conviction. I have already got the official order of dismissal. I believe it is his rational thinking and professional experience that helped me clear myself of false allegations. If you are looking for a highly capable and understanding attorney who will shield you from injustice, I strongly recommend you to work with Aaron Black!! Life becomes a lot easier and, in my opinion, will always get better with nice people around us!! Take care !

I was arrested for a DUI and had absolutely no idea what to do, who to call, and how to react. I read review after review, ask around for some references, and was completely overwhelmed with the process - I had a few consultations and finally reached out to Aaron on a Saturday fully expecting to leave a message and hear back on Monday. Aaron called me back that day and spent an hour of his weekend talking me through the typical process, potential outcomes, getting familiar with my specific situation, and helping me to set expectations for how long the process would take, what his plan would be, and what my worst case situation would be. Needless to say, I was completely overwhelmed by the whole DUI situation, especially being that I am not a resident of AZ (Chicago, IL right here) and that only complicated my situation even further. Beyond preparing me for court, helping to set me up with counseling, Aaron constantly communicated with me throughout the whole process, fought for me, and was ultimately able to secure a significantly reduced charge / plea versus my original charges (Extreme DUI down to DUI in the Slightest). Aaron was fantastic throughout the entire process, and I cannot recommend him enough. He is persistent, dedicated, incredibly knowledgeable, sincere, and sympathetic. I hope and pray that once was enough, but if I were to ever be so unfortunate to find myself in this situation again, Aaron will be my first and only call.

I was originally referred to Aaron By a friend of mine that was in a Boating DUI and he told me that Aaron was extremely responsive and always answered his text or calls within a timely manner and that he also got his sentence reduced greatly. Im so thankful that I reached out to Aaron and had him as my Attorney during my Marijuana DUI. He explained everything to me very thoroughly and was straight up about how the process and court works with these situations. All in all my sentence was reduced and I did not receive a DUI and my license was never suspended. Not even for a day. No jail. No interlock. I was cited for a DUI almost 1 year ago. I called several attorneys and left messages due to everyone being closed because it was Sunday. Mr Ramos was the only one who called me back immediately. He asked to hear my version of what happened and reviewed the possible outcomes & the financing options, which I thought were very reasonable. The staff is amazing and kept me informed through the entire process. He obtained police videos & reports. He found an issue with the consent to draw blood. I am not big on writing reviews. However, I thought this was more than necessary. We never think about being in a situation that we need an attorney, but when it happens it can be life changing. I recently was put in such a situation and happened to call Ramos Law Firm. From the moment I called, I felt better. They were immediately ready to help. Mr. Jocquese Blackwell and Gill Bernard are the best attorneys. They represented my boyfriend after being charged with assault. We went to trial today and there were 5 witnesses against me.
