At our first meeting, I was impressed by how attentive and patient he was when I told him the injustice inflicted on me. I will always remember the fact that he took extensive notes and the way he did it, in part because my first divorce attorney whom I fired, did nothing comparable. The fact that the charge my soon-to-be ex pressed against me was the result of his chilling false allegations about an violent event he instigated and of his use of my nine year old daughter to conceal his violence and frame me does not make my case easy. Nor does it necessarily mean I was to be treated with justice. However, in retrospect, Aaron Black got me the deal, a pre plea diversion at a lightning speed. The reality is that within a month or so after my first meeting with Aaron in late February and my subsequent hiring of him, he got the above-noted deal. Prior to obtainment of the deal, Aaron succinctly pointed out the inconsistencies in a police report concerning my ex-to-be’s allegations and conveyed his professional opinions about the charge against me. There is nothing comfortable about putting down a chunk of money knowing that there is no way to know the outcome of your case. However, the reasonable retainer, is the comfort of knowing that you don't have to deal with the intricacies of the case until court time. Lacey who took over my case, was more than professional and maintained an open line of communication. The Saldivar group came as a referral for a consult at first, and I'm glad I remained as a client with the firm and Lacey as my legal representation. Not sure what your are expecting, but the system is what it is, and lawyers are simply needed sometimes to take the day to day thinking off your mind. I did not feel like I was taken for a retainer ride like I have in the past from other firms. My experience was reasonable. I hope yours is as well. At least pay for the consultation at first to see if it is a good fit. If not, go somewhere else. I can't speak for the other lawyers at the firm but Lacey was top notch.

After looking at other reviews I know I am not the only one that feels like my money was not well spent. I would love a refund. I hired this firm to help me through the process side by side as a team yet never felt that. The lack of communication was frustrating majority of the time I never got solid answers on my questions and concerns. I felt like I was not in the loop. When I finally had enough and scheduled a meeting to talk with someone they were 30 minutes late to the call. Which they thought was not a big deal. Professionally that in itself is not okay. However, perfect example of my entire experience with them. As I voiced my experience I kept getting interrupted and throughout the conversation it felt like I was told my opinion was invalid. Luckily my case was dismissed on its own from lack of evidence which they want to take credit for the result. The end result would have occurred on its own with or without them representing me.

Cates and Garvey did an excellent job taking care of me and my case. They kept me informed about my case. They went above and beyond. I had 3 charges. I had warrants from 10 years ago. I was trying to wipe my slate clean and get my life back straight. I live in Texas. They made sure I didn’t have to travel to go to my court date. I was allowed to do it all by phone. When everything was said and done. All 3 of my charges were dropped. I definitely have no complaints and I wouldn’t have had any had it went another direction. Cates and Garvey were honest and upfront with me from the start. I would 100% use them again. If someone gave a bad review on here. I would guess the problem was them. In my situation I was blessed but this law firm will do the best in its power to help you. You just have to help them help you.

My brother had a trafficking case and he got the max sentence and he had never got in trouble before. They never called during the whole 8 months and kept switching lawyers between the law group. When we got to the final court the lawyer didn’t even try to fight his case. Any other lawyer would be better I wish we never came here

I have used Castillo law on several occasions and I have never been let down. Cindy and her team are hard working intelligent individuals who will stop at nothing to protect you and your freedom. I was involved in a self defense situation and it was a scary time for me. It was later in the day and I called Cindy and she drove all the way across town to be there for the investigation and interrogation process without her there I would have been so terrified and unsure on what to do but Cindy helped with every step of the way even getting another attorney down there as well to help my girlfriend who was there and needed legal guidance due to the situation as well they stayed to help us for hours and hours not to mention this all happened ON A HOLIDAY and she still did all of this. On top of that her price was extremely fair. I could never repay Cindy for what she did for me that day. 5 STARS!! NO COMPLAINTS WHATS SO EVER! I have had the best experience with Cindy and her team. My brother was incarcerated for 6 months and that whole 6 months Cindy works very hard to handle his case . Thank god and Cindy he was released on Sept.1st 2020 . His charges were so bad and she still had works so hard for him to be able to home with his family! Payments were so simple and easy. If you don't have complete amount of payment she'll work with you so your able to pay.. I called to see if I can get help the lady who answered the phone seemed irritated to begin with anyway she hung up on me after I told her what I needed help with she didn't say sorry we can't help she straight hung up on me bad customer service.
