I had a misdemeanor and thought myself, let me look on google and see if I can find out a good lawyer. I looked and saw for this Lawyer with good google review. I thought, looks like he is a good lawyer. That was the worst lawyer I ever had to hire in my life. I brought my case to him, even paid half in advance and before the pre/trial I already had paid everything. Matthew Nebeker never set down with me to help me with my case. I went to his office about 5 times to be able to have a meeting with him and I never got a called back before the pre-trial. The only time he talked to me was when we went to court and after he talked to the procecurer in an office at court . Looked like he never had the time to read my case, he asked me if I wanted to go to trial, that’s an answer that he as a lawyer shouldered tell me if we should go to trial, that’s why I hired him, to give me advices and help me with my case. I had all the documents to prove I was not guilty and even left all the copies with his secretary. He probably didn’t even put any effort to read my case. I had copy of the person who called the cops asking the cops to drop charges. Dont judge people by its cover . I have master degree and it will be hard to find a job. Giancarlo .

I was accused of a crime I didn’t commit, and from the very beginning Mr. Nebeker believed in me and gave me confidence that he would make this go away. He was always on time for court and very professional. The staff always made sure I got reminders of upcoming events and changes in court proceedings. Mr. Nebeker was able to get the charges against me dismissed, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for help with a DUI or criminal charge. I hope to never need him again, but if I ever do I know where I will be going.

Andrew became my attorney when another attorney left their practice and therefor could no longer represent me. My contract is as a flat rate that I was told Andrew would honor. Because I had paid a flat rate Andrew clearly wanted to do the bare minimum. He had no interest in going to trial and wanted me to plead ASAP. The prosecution offered several deals, each one getting better and better. Andrew begged me to take each one. I was insistent on going to trial to prove my innocence. Andrew would become very bothered whenever I expressed this. I eventually took a deal due to the fact I was fearful I wouldn’t receive Andrew’s full effort at trial. Andres wants to make a buck, he does not want to work with his clients.

First of all what really stood out to me in working with this group was how quickly I received responses to my questions and requests throughout the process! I would get a response within less than an hour if not minutes after I sent a text or email. It was comforting getting my questions answered so quickly in such a stressful situation. I was also very happy about the professionalism that was exemplified and I appreciated the thorough explanations and options provided to me. I worked with Logan directly and he was super helpful in making a very stressful situation into an easy and seamless experience. Not only that, he was very understanding and provided valuable feedback, facts, and opinions which made my decisions throughout the process easier and a lot less stressful. Spent thousands here and our attorney never produced anything. Lots of promises about making phone calls and writing letters but never did anything. Every time we would talk to him he had a different plan that he would never carry out. "I'll make that phone call next week." We would then call two weeks later and he still hadn't made the call. "Oh, I decided that I should write a letter." Another two weeks and no letter. The only paperwork he ever did was to charge our account. We complained to the partners and they didn't do anything - wouldn't even change our attorney. This place is a joke. Go somewhere else.

My experience with wasatch defense lawyers was unique. They were always very responsive and accommodating as far as scheduling appointments and answering questions. At one point Lane said I could come in every day if needed or call if I ever had questions. They were great about working with my crazy schedule, answering my questions and responding to my emails. I want to thank the team for all the time and effort that was put into my case. My husband was brought up on charges because he missed that he was supposed to put his passport on his registration. It’s a very minor things and the court was trying to bring him up on felony charges, even though he should have been charged with a misdemeanor. She talked to us exactly once (during our consult) and she did nothing else. Except on days we were in court. She was impossible to get ahold of and never even met with my husband prior to trial. She didn’t discuss my husband’s previous case with him or the current case. She pressured my husband into taking the ‘great deal’ she got him which is what he would have gotten anyway based on her own comments to us. They mis-chared my husband and she didn’t even act as though she cared. Though not as important in my opinion, but it speaks to her professionalism, she was also late for court by more than 15 minutes one of the 2 times we went before the judge. I would never hire her again, and I would caution you if you are considering obtaining her services to think twice about working with her. My opinion is she is not going to do anything other than take your money and hang you out to dry. Whether it is ignorance or apathy, the results are the same she will not help you, and doesn’t have your best interests at heart.
