The law firm recently defended me in a paternity case. This case was off the beaten track and required a complex defense. I was very worried, as a cookie-cutter solution would have been quite detrimental to my child’s development. They offered me the best defense that you could imagine! What was important to me was that they guided me throughout the whole process. They always stayed right on top of the case and kept me informed about all of my options. There were times when I talked to them on nights, weekends, whenever! They were always there. They also did not let me make mistakes along the way. Their guidance was invaluable. Their recommendations were well thought out and they all paid off. I was able to win the case, which meant win my child’s welfare and my own sanity. Even when the case was the worst (emotionally), I always felt well represented. His associate, Nikki Devidze, was fantastic. Both in and (especially) out of the courtroom, she was always a voice of reason who, through both word and action, reassured me that my child was receiving the best defense possible. The resources of the firm were also great. They can hold their own against the best. And they are realistic! While they tempered my expectations, they also got me the entire verdict. I am so happy and if I am back in court it will be with them. I would recommend them for a paternity suit or any other family law matter.

I WAS ASK TO PAY A $350.00 consulting fee to speak with the attorney. WOW.. I feel that is pretty expensive. We have not even spoke one word about the case I may or may not have.Wow. I'm just saying..please understand the cost is not the problem..I just saying..Wow. Five of those a day..Wow.

This review is specifically for Maria, not the entire firm. She was not working at this firm when I hired her. This is her 4th law firm since I met her. You decide for yourself, but be warned. Maria Jose Sanchez will destroy your case. Do not hire her. She is irresponsible, lazy, pathological liar and a terrible attorney. She lied to me about my case on several occasions. For ex: she told me she called the judge’s assistant to schedule a court date. I waited over 6 months and no word from her. She told me the JA had not returned her calls. I asked for the number and when I called, the JA said she never called them, as they would have given her a court date the same day if she did. They advised me to report her to the bar. She did this to me twice with two different judges. I lost over 6 months of time because of her lies. Because of that, time ran out for me to appeal the original case. She also lied and dumped me 2 weeks before my hearing date claiming the defendant reported her to the BA. I have so many examples of the wrongs she did. She didn’t do her job and I lost my case and my property. She has ruined my life and mental health after taking my money and saying she was capable. Warning: do not hire this woman. Please also see Avvo reviews from others. If you visit this firm seeking representation on a case, run like hell if they offer Maria Sanchez as your attorney.

I had to hire Mrs. Amy Cosentino and her staff for a custody battle with my ex, her team is amazing ! They work hard, and in a fast timely fashion. She has been a great mentor and coach throughout my custody case. She is passionate about helping families in need, she always responds to my questions immediately. I highly recommend hiring her for any family law matters, she is compassionate, and humble and understanding. She has coached me through this custody battle from the beginning. I cant speak for anyone else! But I can say Amy and her team did everything they promised. The Consentino firm will fight for you within the guidelines of the LAW. I can guarantee you that anyone that gives Amy firm a 1 star tried to win their case on lies!! I found Amy after my first attorney cost me 4k and dragged my case out 6-months with no results. I found Amy, hired her firm and got more results in 2-months than I did within those wasted 6-months. I did not know Jeffery prior to reaching out to him. With so many attorney's out there, I could really only use the google star ratings and reviews to make a decision to hire him. From the very beginning, Jeffery was easy to talk to, listened intently, and asked great questions. His first recommendation was "you can do this yourself, you really don't need to hire me". Can you imagine a lawyer suggesting don't pay me for something you can do yourself? Impressive. I gave that some thought for a day. Before I made that decision, he called me and said, "if you write the letter yourself, please let me read it first to make sure it's written correctly, legal wise, no charge" No charge? Again, what lawyer would be willing to give free advice? That impressed me even more. So, in the end, I hired him and he was fantastic. I actually received a call from him at 7:30pm one evening and spoke for nearly 45 minutes. Really? WOW. A lawyer who is so dedicated to his/her practice to actually call a small revenue client in the evening to discuss a case? Amazing. He reasonably charged me and allowed me to pay as he resolved and won my case. He was always there for me; my calls were promptly answered (weekdays and/or weekends). Mr. Salerno is the best lawyer I know. When I first started with my divorce I represented myself, then tried Legal Aid which did not go so well. Years started going by and nothing was being done. I was stuck representing myself again and then I was introduced to Mr. Salerno. All my stress went away from Day 1. Everything went so smoothly. My ex-husband’s lawyer asked for a deposition and my stress and anxiety went so high I was on the verge of a breakdown. Mr. Salerno was so confident that ever would be ok and it was! James is extremely competent and was knowledgeable about the process we undertook. His attention to detail resonated with me (I’m a retired Airline Pilot,) and he instilled my trust and confidence. My case was an alimony modification. I only wish that James had represented me my during my divorce. I can not say enough kind things about his paralegal, Sarah. I hired David on September 2018 for a child custody case, and I am very disappointed with David. I was forced to fire him before going to mediation because of the lack of professionalism. His office, (after I paid the retainer) took weeks to answer my calls and emails. I believe he did not look after my best interest. His paralegal Zamirah was very rude and unprofessional. We didn’t even go to mediation and they said they used all my money. I ended up having to do all the filings because David didn't do it. It was a big mistake hiring David. I am very happy with my current Lawyer and wish I had not wasted my time with David, I hope you don’t make the same mistake.
