I would put zero stars if possible. My case was dismissed because he failed to submit multiple documents and failed to inform me that I was supposed to appear in court, then he lied to me pretending not to know what the issue was. I paid him $1250 for nothing. And getting a hold of him when I needed council was mission impossible. The answer was always "we're waiting" or "keep doing what you're doing". A thief, a liar, and a cheat. Unprofessional, and doesn't know how to do his job only how to take people's money. He barely gave any importance to my case and has now cost me money because I have to hire a new lawyer. DO NOT HIRE.

As you can probably see, the previous reviews are from years ago. Mr Dancu is not the attorney as described in the reviews prior. He will charge you for EVERYTHING. He charged for 3 hours for "reviewing" our case yet still knew nothing about it and had to ask many questions that he should have know if he REALLY spent 3 hours reviewing the case. When he decides that HE wants to take a vacation, YOU will be charged for HIS decision to take time off. What I mean by this is that he will file with the court his notice of unavailability and YOU are charged for that file. He also will charge you the attorney rate for work that his paralegal did. Plain as day on the bill it states paralegal but yet the rate is the attorney rate of service. He will ask for items yet never explains anything he is doing, file papers you didn't ask him to file, and will make decisions without even consulting you. Everything in the case started one way and he took it a totally different direction, just giving him the ability to charge MORE! And when he send you an updated invoice and it hasn't even been a week that you haven't responded, he will drop you as a client. There is no care for you as a client, just care about filling his pocket!

Guichard has been nothing but the best in my book when it comes to attorney’s. Prior to hiring him I was working with another attorney for my child custody issue. Who did a tremendous job. Unfortunately, I found myself going back to court for a similar situation with child custody but with another child. The lawyer I had couldn’t take my case and told me he really wanted to help me but he couldn’t because he was tied up on my court date with another client and I couldn’t reschedule trial and needed a lawyer quick. He said “I know just the lawyer for you and will fight for you”. All I can say is that Guichard has been great and has gotten me joint custody of my boy when the odds were against me. He focused on what was right and the judge saw it even stop trail for second and applaud him and said “he appreciated his professionalism in court room during trail”, I’ll never forget it. If I could give them negative stars I would. Was continually ignored in requests, given biased excuses as to why plans wouldn’t work, and offered an insulting parenting plan in my case for my daughter simply because I was on a payment plan and did not pay them the few thousand dollars they believed they earned. They allowed the opposing counsel to continually waste time without reprecussion and have given no solutions in months simply to make a quick buck fast. They are more concerned with getting paid and having their way than fighting for your or your child’s rights. Stay away, far away. They will not help you unless you pay them the top dollar they believe they deserve.
