I called Mr Poindexter while I was in court they are railroading me they're making me proceed without an attorney. Because I couldn't afford one but I told them I could a few months ago but things have changed I had to pay to get my driver's license back which is why I'm on probation, which is why I'm in court, so now I have my driver's license back but the court doesn't seem to care they're going to prosecute me anyway... Because the county will get my five bedroom two story house if I go to jail it's a long story but they will and that's why they are railroading me.. and I told Mr Poindexter this on the phone I called him at the break..and told him what was going on and he said well if you can manage to stay out of jail today call me back.. in other words he was going to represent me cuz I told him my entire case now all we have to do is work out the price. Well I managed to not go to jail that day but I had to represent myself I had to cross-examine the cop that arrested me.. the da objected to everything I said..the judge actually appointed me an attorney and she objected and asked if she could be excused and he granted her and she got up and left the courtroom mind you it's just me and the court staff there is no witnesses.. they push me back to this point every single time.. people who don't have an attorney.. they put them off till there's no one else left to see what they do to them.. when you don't have an attorney there's no one there to defend your rights and they just love flexing their power crushing your rights. I told him I couldn't afford an attorney that I had to bury my dad on November 7th.. that I'm getting his death benefits here in a week or so that I'll have the money to please give me more time and he wouldn't do it.. that's because they're going to put me in prison or just for 30 days.. just long enough to liquidate the house.. it's already went through.. it's been approved by that same judge. He's the same judge that took conservatorship from me. The same judge that took conservatorship from me when they had a hearing to do so in a different County and didn't subpoena me and I had no idea it was happening and because I didn't appear they ruled in favor of Upper Cumberland department of revenue becoming his conservator. They took everything his pension check social security check savings account checking account 5 acres of land in town that adjoins the circle view apartments which are coincidentally owned and operated by Upper Cumberland department of revenue.. they offered my dad $30,000 just for a lot that connects to their land that way they could build more properties.. he refused to sell.. so here it is 30 years later and they've taken it.. but that's just a coincidence they took conservatorship because I'm a piece of s*** son who doesn't give a f*** about his dad is what they said.. they said I'm his homeless son who is squatting at his house and that they need to liquidate the house to pay for his medical bills. And the judge approved it. But there's one stipulation is there's laws against just pulling someone out of their house..the judge knows that I'm not squatting here I've lived here since I was 2 years old. The judge knows I'm not his homeless son squatting.. they acted like they couldn't get ahold of me and that I abandoned him and the judge went along with it.. they held the case in Overton County that way even if I did hear about it I don't have a driver's license and I've already gotten six driving on suspended and the judge told me if I get caught driving again that's two years in prison and then they have the court case in Overton County.. just in case I hear about it and make a beeline to Overton County I'm sure there was a cop sitting there waiting to pull me over and put me in jail.. anyway your secretary told me you don't take cases like mine. And now that I had the $1,500 she said it would be $3,000 and I was like okay and she said well also there's a $50 consultation fee. She thought I would hang up. But I didn't. Because you're the first lawyer that will take my case.

I made 4 calls over the span of a month and the only return call I got was from the receptionist, who asked me for basic information regarding the case I was hoping to start. Called Monday for intake for my son's injury, and explained the accident in full detail. And was given false empathy because apparently she wasn't listening at all. Docusigned papers and was told they'll call etc, hoping my son gets better. By Thursday I called no answer and just at the end of day at 4:50 ending her shift, the paralegal called explaining what work injury, and disability means and couldn't take my case from stitches. What she doesn't know that, I'm a degreed paralegal and know for a fact that you too didn't hear me say I called earlier, and its far worse than a stitches. But after four days, and your wrap up your day discussion, over talking me and then say she'll reach out after she talks to her attorney, she'd get back to me. FOR THE PEOPLE no your not. The urgency of advocacy in getting back from your inaccurate intake, isn't wanted now. Disappointed in the referral.
