Aside from the initial meeting which was pleasant everything from there went downhill. Communication only happened after REPEATED contact from either myself or my husband and even then was poor at best. There was much confusion about what was even happening. Rather then fight for us we had to repeatedly request and press for common rights within the worker’s compensation system. I feel strongly like this may be a “back pocket” office and they are more in it to work with certain companies workers compensations divisions, get a percentage for taking the referrals, then make a show but no results, compassion, instruction or care for the injured workers rights they are hired to represent. We hired an attorney because we did not have a good understanding of the worker’s compensation system. We would have been better off to navigate it on our own then have representation by this office. I say this as a person who started this case with zero knowledge of WC law, that changed when I begin to work in it myself and I saw just how shoddily my husband had been handled and treated. We lost our home due to his injury. He can no longer pick up our children, go on hikes as a family and so many other things! Would have been nice if our attorney who was PAID TO HELP US could have at least called once in awhile. Or maybe viewed the Man who is the center of our family as more then a dollar sign! Enjoy the funds you didn’t earn sir! Please, if you are considering hiring this office for your sake and well being go elsewhere.
