We interviewed several attorneys prior to retaining Mr. Waltrip. We found him to be down to Earth, humble, and respectful; but truthful and frank. He listened to our story with sympathy and sensitivity. He was completely realistic and reasonably managed our expectations. Also, he offered some novel suggestions about how we could conduct the case. Another great benefit was the fact that he lived in and knew the county in which our case was to be heard and he was familiar with both the judge and the opposing counsel. During the run up to the trial date, he and his staff were communicative and responsive to our questions. He kept us hopeful but realistic. He and his paralegal continued to be kind and polite. On the day of the trial, he was prepared and organized (not in the most traditional way). I must admit I was concerned watching his notetaking style, however when it came time to question and cross-examine, his mind was sharp and his words were articulate, clear, and hard-hitting. It was fun to watch. He had the passion of a competitive athlete and was hungry for victory. He jabbed, parried, and then closed for a knockout. He left the opposition flummoxed and completely outplayed. We didn't even need to call our witnesses. The preparation for and the experience of court was arduous and sometimes painful, but the outcome was as good as we could have expected. I am grateful to Mr. Waltrip and would recommend him without prejudice or reservation.

Mr. Campbell is by far the worst court appointed attorney I have ever came across. I guess if he is actually getting paid to represent someone maybe he's okay. He does not communicate at all with his clients. The office staff is not at all helpful. They promise to get answers and that they'll get back to you but never do. I would never recommend This quack to anyone.

I can’t even describe how impressed and how much my expectations were exceeded with Mr. Waltrip. I had a fairly difficult custody case that he handled. From beginning to the end he was beyond professional and in court is really where he shined and that by far is the most important part of having an attorney. There wasn’t a moment that I wasn’t confident in his expertise or decorum in the courtroom. I left with an outcome that was better than I could have imagined. I credit that to Mr. Waltrip’s sound advise, leading and closing arguments and his knowledge of family law. I’ve had other attorneys in the area and let me say some are extremely costly and frankly just disappointing and inept. Finding a great attorney to handle such a delicate situation such as your child is not easy. I would recommend Mr. Waltrip to any of my family members or friends with 100% confidence.

I used this firm for my divorce. They were efficient, and communicated with me through each step. They are also honest, I nearly overpaid them, but the attorney corrected me prior to payment. Pricing is also reasonable and fair. I'm so glad I used them, and so thankful for how great they were. I absolutely recommend retaining them if you ever need legal assistance. I'd give more stars if I could.

My husband has used Mr. Price for several family law issues, and we have been very satisfied with his work and responsiveness, both of which were problems for us with other attorneys. Mr. Price is not a barracuda--he's not out to win--he's out to find a reasonable solution to tough problems, which is what any family attorney should be doing, in my opinion. There are no winners in family court, after all. I love that he is honest with us, even when it's truth we don't want to hear. I respect that, and him, immensely.

Jennifer Oram-Smith is one of the most delightful and personable people I have ever had the privilege of working with. Even though, what put me in the position of having to hire a lawyer in the first place was not a good thing.... Jennifer's positive attitude and fearless fighting for my case helped make my experience that much better. When you search for a lawyer, you often look for credentials - experience - size of the firm etc.... but what often isn't described is how diligent they are with their clients and their cases. Jennifer was so tireless in her efforts to ensure I got what I was looking for, that each time I sent her an email she was quick to respond that very same day. Communication was key for me as I live in California and needed representation in Virginia. My case was a complex one, with ALOT of history and paperwork to go through, and given the distance and how often I was able to actually meet with Jennifer in person - I can say I am very impressed with the way she conducts business. As far as price goes, it should be no surprise to anyone that hiring a lawyer can be expensive (depending on your case) and you get what you pay for. I made that mistake the first time I hired a lawyer a few years ago and all I walked away with was debt and little to show for it. Jennifer is EXTREMELY fair in her pricing... in fact... I think she may be underpriced as I believe that her level of commitment is valued at so much more. And because of Jennifer's meticulous work and what felt like boundless knowledge of the judicial system, I was able to walk away from court with so much more than I had started with. Letty, Sue, and Page were completely on top of setting up my separation papers and explaining the process thereof. Very supportive and always there to answer my questions.
