Joe handled my case when I was hit by a car as a pedestrian in 2015 in Astoria. He skillfully and kindly led me through the legal maze of dealing with attorneys, insurance companies, medical records requests and arbitrators. Legal issues can be intimidating. Joe was professional and very human through the whole process. I ended up being awarded the maximum allowable claim on my insurance. Originally said he would take my sons case. Then helped me file an appeal over the phone, asking for me to call back when it got denied again. Then he responded with he isn't taking any new cases. Wish we would have known that from the beginning. Not even sure what changed his mind as his assistant called me back.

I don't remember how I found Matthew, but it was the best choice I could have made. He is efficient, effective and made it easy for me after an auto accident with a concussion. I was satisfied with the settlement offered but he continued to negotiate and succeeded. In addition, 2.5 years later he contacted me to say he had just received another check and would send it to me. In today's environment, trust and integrity are of paramount importance.

William Ball is an involved and diligent attorney. I feel very fortunate to have had him represent me. As the case became more and more involved as my ex-husband was being released from his previous councils William was always calm and never fed into the drama of opposing council by needlessly involving friends and family members to tear our family further apart in an already awful situation that was preceded by the arrest of my ex husbands arrest on domestic violence in 2009.William would never get "down" on the level of opposing council. When everything was said and done in Feb of 2013, I had gained everything I had set out to get in 2009 by a brilliant and well timed faithful attorney. William was the opposing council in a series of hearings related to parenting time, a restraining order, contempt of court allegation, and spousal support in which I was involved. He cost both sides thousands of dollars which did not need to happen. He was unprepared and looked dazed and confused during the hearings. He encouraged his client to file a FAPA (restraining order) that was reckless and abusive of the system according to the judge. Before the hearing, he drafted and sent a letter to my attorney stating that they would seek criminal charges against me if we did not negotiate on parenting time which was extortion and I intend to notify the district attorney of his actions. Not only did he and his client lose on all matters before the court, he still encouraged his client to file an appeal. I would steer clear of this attorney.

No compassion for his clients at all. Jon never even gave me time to explain my case before talking over me and telling me I don't have one. He interrupted me multiple times or would just talk over me in a-condescending tone. I was treated with absolute zero respect on an extremely traumatic and personal subject. This man is nothing but a cold hearted ambulance chaser that has no remorse for his clients or actually helping those in need. I would have been understanding (after all life isn't fair) some things just don't work out but the manner in which Jon talked with me and the lack of respect he showed me and my situation can only lead me to imagine how he operates his business. Highly would not recommend.

When I first contacted Jon Friedman, he was very patient and listened to every word I told him about my fall and injuries. He asked questions and seemed genuinely concerned about me and asked if I had been seen for my injuries. I had been seen initially, however, I didn't have insurance to continue treatment, so Jon helped in guiding me in the process of aquiring coverage, then asked me to please keep him informed. Over the next several months, calls and emails were made back and forth. I was calling Jon because I didn't know what to expect next or dealing with the other side's insurance agent. I felt very lost and alone. Jon would call or email me every week or two to ask how things were going and help guide me through whatever was happening in the process at that time. His contact was very comforting and I felt he was always right there with me all along the way. The most amazing thing about Jon throughout these months, is that he never even mentioned payment...ever. It was eventually made "formal", that Jon became my Attorney, but only because I told him I didn't feel it was fair that I was receiving all his help and taking up his time, yet he wasn't being paid. I know Jon would have continued to assist me and never asked for anything. I know this now, a year later, because I've come to know what kind of a person he is. Jon is very professional, yet extremely comfortable to speak with, no matter the subject. He is very attentive, compassionate, personable, completely honest, and I am greatful to have found him, by chance. I live in Central Oregon, 3-4 hrs away. Portland's list of attorneys is huge. So yes, I feel very fortunate to have found Jon. My case is not over, but has been a difficult road. If not for Jon, I couldn't have made it through much of it alone. He has been my Guardian Angel from the beginning and has had my back ever since. I can never thank Jon enough for all that he has done for me, but I hope he knows. A friend of mine recommended Jon, after hearing I had been in an auto accident. From our first phone call, through the consultation, all the way to the end, Jon was professional, affable and on top of everything. He urged me to advocate for myself when visiting doctors to make sure I received the proper care and frequently checked in on me. Insurance companies are notoriously hard to work with, so I was so relieved that Jon was my intermediary. He even found a discrepancy between my title and what my insurance was offering for my totaled car, leading them to give a larger payout. It was a long process, due to length of my recovery, but I am extremely satisfied with the outcome. Jon was great to work with and I highly recommend him.

Jon is a great guy to work with. Emails and phone calls were quickly returned. Jon is straight and to the point, no sugar coatings here. Good or bad he tells you like it is!. After my accident I was worried that my medical bills would not be covered, Jon not only recovered my medical bills, but also worked out a settlement which I would have never received on my own.

We are late in posting this review, but it's worthy of a read. From the start, Craig was great to work with. His communication was clear and timely, and he was honest and direct about the possible challenges and outcomes. He helped my husband with an on-the-job injury that went sideways in a self-insured situation. We really valued his knowledge and expertise in this unique area of law. He was patient and did a great job explaining complex legal terms and processes. He asked for information and facts, but listened to my husband's frustrations as well. Regardless of the outcome, this was a great experience.
